We've checked in & been waiting more than an hour. No one has even said hello. We'd love to just buy an iPad.

After checking in, I sat there for an hour. Seems that hanging up new magnetic posters of the new phones is more important than waiting customers. Walked in right behind a buddy of the one doing the check-ins. He told his friend there was no queue, and proceeded to help him for half an hour, then proceeded to a family that wasn't checked in. Poster boy ask if I was checked in? Yes. Has anyone helped you? No! and that was the end of that. The reason I was there was a problem with my mom's account, I have a T-Mobile account and after tonights experience, I'll be moving mom over to T-Mobile. Came to Verizon cause my age daughter had issues w8th her self phone, at first we where not getting any resolution and at one point we where considering switching to another carrier, we are loyal customers for over 5 years. Mr. Torrance the verizon customer representative went above and beyond excellent service and the Manager Eric was also extremely helpful, They really made us very happy my teenage daughtger was so happy that she promise to do well n school, when she got hook up with the I phone 7plus that she wanted. Was already having a bad day as it was. I got there ready to pay my bill when I saw the line...I guess it was for one of the new Iphones. I use basic phones, so that sort of thing never really mattered to me. I told the guy up front "I just want to use the machine to pay my phone bill is that okay?". And he told me that I had to wait behind the line of 50 people for everyone to get there phone first and got rude about it. I made a bit of a scene and he finally got the manager, who told me that I needed to wait behind everyone too (even though the phones were not being sold for another HOUR). Why should a normal customer be put into this idiocy? Using the bill machine dosen't take any employee power... I told him I was not going to pay my bill and he would hear from corporate. I filed a complaint and nothing happened. No surprise. Ended up discontinuing service with them and buying a walmart phone with MORE FEATURES than my verizon basic plan, including limited internet, ALOT more minutes, and kept the unlimited texting. Here's the real kicker...the new phone was a Verizon service...so why was I getting over charged at this crappy little retail store? I'm saving about 40 bucks a month. Feels good to win. read more

2 months of data overages on my new phone while I thought i was on wifi... tech support couldn't help, their only suggestion was to turn off my mobile data... meanwhile I could connect to WiFi which I use constantly for my job, nor would 611 credit me for any of my overages or needed data upgrades!! Needless to say, I went into the corporate store ready to cancel my service... but Alec, the sales rep, figured out what was wrong.. is having a new phone overnighted to me and is crediting my account $120 for all the overages. Thanks Alec... today you are my hero! If you're having issues or need a new phone, go see him, as he was patient with my tirade and fixed my problems =) read more

Listen to the other reviews on here, unlike I did. I told them I wanted whatever the newest version phone was, which they said was the iPhone 11. Ok cool. They even price out the 11 to me, all good. I get home and open the box and it's an iPhone XR. I didn't set it up, put it right back in the box and went right back to the store the next morning. Was told that thats what was on my acct now, so that must've been what I asked for. (Wrong). But they tell me I can exchange it, and pay a $50 restocking fee. And now it's a just matter of he said she said and clearly there is little to no customer appreciation at this location. And now I find out that the iPhone 12 just came out so this phone that I did not request, is now two versions old. Head my advice, go to a different store. read more

The sales person, Torrence was very helpful and stayed with us for 4+ hours. But that's the issue right there. FOUR + HOURS. I had AT&T & My fiancé had T-Mobile. He had a phone from Apple, which is automatically unlocked, and I had AT&T phone which is compatible with Verizon. I had to get off my moms account and my Fiancé had to get off his parents account. After 4 hours we were given temporary numbers to go home with (because we wanted to keep our numbers but Verizon couldn't immediately get them to us). We were told that at a certain time that if we turn our phones off and then on again our new numbers would just be set onto our phones. Not the case. Four hours later we still had temp. numbers and didn't know what those numbers even were. We went back. Got it sorted out in about 2 more hours and finally could use our new service. 2 Stars for the patience of customer service but -2 for efficiency read more

I wish another carrier had as good of a signal and I'd switch. I went in and was never greeted. You have to sign up on a little pad to get service. I finally found someone to sign me up. After a brief 10 minute wait I was greeted by a younger girl. She wasn't friendly nor was she unfriendly. I told her I need a phone and she asked what I wanted. She couldn't really answer my questions on how to choose between the two models so I had to go with what I'd read beforehand. I was hoping for some expert or professional advice. Nope. I chose my phone and she brought it out. She tried to tell me it's cheaper to bundle a phone, car charger, and case. Ha! It was close to $100 extra. I explained that I didn't not need the car charger as I already have a nice one rated for this phone and I would purchase my otter box elsewhere unless she would price match. She said no. She talked down to me like I didn't know what I was doing or talking about. I may look older but I'm somewhat tech savvy. I explained I could purchase the new case at most any place for cheaper and at two places online for 1/3 her price. She argued that those cases down sold elsewhere don't have a warranty. I know better as I've used the warranty elsewhere with zero hassle. She was kinda of nasty to me. However, I needed a phone as mine was dead. So I paid for the phone and requested they set it up. She laughed and said that's not Verizon's responsibility. I was told to take it home and do it myself over WiFi. Good thing I have fast WiFi and some know how. I could see people who struggle with technology like my parents having a nightmare. If you are like me and have to have Verizon, try a different store. This one is not good. read more

Came in on a Tuesday around 3:30, stood around for over an hour and no one spoke to me since I had walked through the door. Not many customers in the store and about 5 or 6 different employees. Same complainant as many others that I have found. The sales associates walk around with their iPads completing your order then get you to sign on the line. you can not see any details about the transactions until you get an email copy of the transaction. Get prepared to call Verizon to have all the additional items removed. Second time in the past 6 months this has happened to me. I will not go back to this store again and recommend that no one does. Absolutely fantastic! Verizon was such a refreshing change from Sprint and all of their bush beating liars. Jacob was insanely understanding and very helpful. He made sure every discount that was applicable was given to us. We had been with Sprint for 3 months and were given nothing but more fees we were never made aware of. Verizon's customer service is fast, their spoken language is understandable, they do everything they can to make the customer happy, and they know what they're talking about when asked a question. Their service is worlds away from Sprints crap-shoot service. I'll never go back. Love my Verizon! read more

Arianna was the supervisor on duty. When I walk in to get a shipping label to return an online phone purchase, a young brunette girl takes my name, says there are 2 people in front of me and that someone will be with me in "a couple minutes." After starting into what became a 40 minute wait, I see that some of the Verizon employees helping people obviously like to hear themselves talk. Customers are staring at them like deer in headlights as the employees go off on tangents about all kinds of odd things. Girl who greeted me is now left her post and is now working with a customer, and a young man is now near the front door greeting people coming in. I tell him what the girl told me, that I was misled, and that things seems chaotic and unmanaged in the store. His response was a smug and impolite reminder that 2 people are still in front of me. I told him one of the employees just put on a jacket and left to go outside and hadn't returned. I asked if he went on break and the guy responded.. "I don't know, maybe". Original girl who had greeted me returned to her post and relieved the guy who was obviously not happy about having to greet customers. I told the girl that I'd been waiting over 20 minutes, that she provided me with misleading information, and gave her a reminder that all I needed to do was pick up a shipping label. At this point a supervisor named Arianna comes walking up and the girl tells Arianna, "Customer service told him to come into the store to get a return shipping label for his online purchase. How do we do that?" Arianna told her how, girl left and came back many minutes later and handed me a shipping label. I asked her if I had to take my package with this label to a particular location for shipping. She said, "No. Any postal outlet will do." Arianna hears me saying back to her "are you sure I can ship this US Postal Service or does it have to be UPS?" The supervisor Arianna cuts in and tells me the only option for shipping is UPS and that I had to take it to a UPS store. At this point, I'm so dumbfounded by poor service, midleading information, and the obvious culture problem at this store (325 Airport Rd near Asheville NC) that I'm speechless and just walk out. read more
