I am went to this Verizon store at 3707 West 3rd Street in Bloomington, IN on 9/7/2024 and was assisted by Nathan Smith. I was struggling to reprogram my father's cellular phone. Nathan was very quick to resolve the issue and get my father back up and running. I had already spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to fix it and Nathan accomplished the job in less than 10minutes. He was very kind, professional, and expedient. Sometimes I'm very happy to update a review, and today is one of those times. I've been considering upgrading my cel phone and wanted to check out the larger sizes in person so I could see if one would be right for me. I'm horrible at deciding between 2 options if they are close, and the two phones I was considering are very similar. This location is closest to home, so I gave it another try. I went in and browsed for a bit, trying to find the models I wanted to see. Everyone was busy, but they acknowledged me and said someone would be with me ASAP. Very nice! I had a lot of questions, and Joshua was very patient with me and answered everything. He brought out a couple of phones that were similar to what I was asking about. We talked about android versus apple and how the systems were similar and different. He also pulled up a current promotion that would help me out. In the end, he helped me make a decision, but they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock. Based on my experience there, I would definitely go back. In theory, that would be enough to help me give them 5 stars. There were just a few minor points that knocked off that store. They aren't major, but worth noting. --Lots of phones on display aren't working models, but I'm sure they have some available to bring out. --1 or 2 phones might not be marked correctly. The phone I wanted to see had a sign for another phone by it, so that was confusing. --They don't always stock a full line. This is the second time I have wanted to purchase a phone only to find they didn't stock it. They can order it and have it there quickly, but I like to do everything in one visit when possible. If you stop in and spend some time with someone, try to make sure that person gets your sale. They work on commission, so it makes a difference. I was in need of an iPhone 13 Pro Max and found it at this store. Evan was extremely helpful and told me he would hold the phone until I could return with my wife to complete the purchase. His co worker, Mr. Crum, sold the phone despite his knowledge that it was being held for someone else. He was then quite arrogant and dismissive of the problem. read more

I have been doing business with Cellular sales for many years. I always recommended them highly, until now. The insurance policy that I bought for my phone in August was supposed to be "if you break your phone, you just bring it to one of our locations and we will swap it out in store". I have broken my phone, and they inform me that program ended on 3-1-16, and I would have to call the insurance company and have a phone sent through the mail. If I had signed after said policy had ended, I would understand. I was never informed that the policy had changed, and I signed a contract before the change. Apparently there word doesn't mean much, and they don't care. I would not recommend anyone going to this place. Whatever they promise you, can and Cleary will be changed without notice. I will never sign up with this company again. read more
