I've done a lot of business here over the years, from passport photos to copy / bind jobs to self-serve copying. I like the store, it's clean and stocked with supplies, and people are busy. Pro tip: you need to be prepared to help yourself on the self-serve copying thing because depending on the biz flow, folks are not necessarily going to be able to hand-hold you. That's ok. Read the signage closely, then ask questions. Get your office stuff done here. It's easy to get to and close to Quaker Blvd and US40. read more

Recently I have left two highly critical reviews for two other businesses, and I thought I should inject some positivity into the world. I went to the FedEx Office store at 2850 E. 3rd St., Bloomington, IN, on 9/8/2023, and I thought it would be a pain in the a**. The store was fairly busy, and I had some work to finish up at one of the work stations toward the rear of the store. I was glad that I had a nice place to work and that there was a clean, public restroom also near the work stations. I needed two books comb bound, and I needed one huge comb-bound book unbound, then rebound after I made some changes. It took me awhile to get each project organized exactly the way I wanted them, and when the store seemed a little less busy, I asked one of the team members about rebinding the biggest book after I had made the changes I wanted. At over 550 pages, the book was pretty much at the limit of the book binding machine, but Caleb and another team member took their time and were able to get it rebound. I walk with a cane, and have a lot of joint pain and poor mobility, so while I waited for them to finish up, I went back to the work station and sat down. When he was finished with the huge book, Caleb brought it out to me at the work station. He said he could take the last to books and get them bound. After binding them, he brought them back out to me. After I checked them over, he went to the cash register, rang up my total, and came back to me and told me my total. I gave him cash, and he cashed me out, then returned with my change. I was very impressed with such a kind, courteous, young man, and I thanked him profusely. There is so much negativity in the world, and it only takes a minute to make someone's day. read more

This place is a hit or miss for me. It all depends on the staff. To be honest a lot of times I've come in and been totally ignored. Staff don't seem that eager to help customers. Today I did get helped by a very friendly employee, which was great. I had actually been waiting for several minutes while two other employees were standing nearby talking to each other and ignoring me. A third employee came from the back, saw me and helped me promptly. I love using FedEx for its service, but employee interactions definitely need improvement. read more

I'm an Airbnb host and one of my guests left a ton of important papers with personal identifying information on them. Here I am thinking this will get so annoying... A short time later they've placed a FedEx order and all I have to do is go drop it off. But in my head I'm thinking about how annoying this will be to explain. I don't have the appropriate envelope or stamp, no printer to print the shipping label, I can imagine eyes rolling already before I've even left my house. Fast forward to me going to the store and I am COMPLETELY WRONG!!! They were so friendly, so easy going. They emailed the shipping label to themselves for printing. There was a long line but I was in and out in less than three minutes. Is it weird that I actually enjoyed my visit? Color me impressed. read more

My girlfriend and I came here to print a school project. We brought our own paper, because we were worried this store would not have paper appropriate for the project, and were informed that printing on our own paper should not be a problem. However, when the Assistant Manager, tried to print on both sides of the paper, it would not work the way it was supposed to. Instead of asking another member of the staff for help, he simply jerry-rigged a solution, leaving our prints out of line on either side, making it near impossible to cut well. On top of that, the papers were not loaded straight, so all the printing was crooked. When we complained, he first told us that there was absolutely nothing he could do, and then reluctantly offered a refund. We took the refund and he refused to give us the paper back that WE BOUGHT AT A DIFFERENT STORE. After explaining this, he refused again and said he couldn't just print things for free. We offered to pay a little bit, but said it wouldn't be fair to pay full price. At this, he angrily said "Fine" and THREW the stack of papers at us. Keep in mind, he is the ASSISTANT MANAGER of the store and his nametag proudly states "Member of staff for 7 years." However, the way he handled himself after his own mistakes, it seems more like his nametag should say "I'm 7 years old." I am absolutely appalled at the service that we received and will recommend ANYONE who wants friendly, effective service to go ANYWHERE but FedEx Kinkos. read more

Have used them a couple times for printing off post cards for events I was promoting where I needed them fast and at lower quantities than off-set printing would allow. I submitted my finished files online and then picked them up at the store. Jobs were always done the same day. Color matching between the files I submitted and the finished product were really good. Staff is very friendly too. read more

This place tries to rip you off when attempting to drop off a package with a prepaid label. Including charging $4 for adding filling when I attempted to ship back a package the exact same way it was sent to be, through Fedex. Very pretentious manager. read more

I walked in with half of an idea on how to produce something like plastic gift cards... 8 individual gift cards of various quantities for a raffle the next day. I spoke with Pete who recommended printing on cardstock with adhesive laminate. I wasn't sure what that would feel like so he quickly created a sample. It was an excellent solution. I brought in the art, he set up all 24 for 2-sided printing and produced a large laminate sheet (I opted to cut them out myself to save some money). They turned out great - rigid and shiny enough like 'real' gift cards for a fraction of the time and cost. It was an exceptional service experience. read more

I ordered blueprints online. Got phone communication. They were delivered the same day. Exactly what I needed.

Went here to scan 6 pages into a pdf. Bad idea. Really bad idea. They have one flatbed pdf scanner in the back corner of the shop. Unfortunately, that pdf scanner is also hooked up to a PC so if you want to scan documents and someone is using the PC you better have some free time on your hands. In my case, the PC was being used by a gentleman that was mumbling to himself about how the Chinese government was out to get him... Two employees went to help this guy out; but neither one grasped that this gentleman was effectively blocking the scanner. The employees left him to finish whatever he was doing on the PC while I sat waiting becoming more and more aggravated by the minute that this guy was taking a freaking half hour to print out a few pages. What should have happened: the employees should have sat with the guy, printed his &*^% for him, and got him the #@*& out of the store. Don't leave the guy in the back of the shop wasting other customers time! read more
