I recently upgraded my failinh 7 year old Samsung S10 to a Samsung S26. Zach met me as I came through the door and helped me with my new purchase and set everything up perfectly. He removed my Sim and SD card from the S10 and returned them to me taped on his business card. Zach is very easy to work with and knowledgeable about the all aspects of his products knowing exactly what I may or may not have needed. I highly recommend this Verizon store and Zach. read more

I have been seriously considering transferring from T-Mobile to Verizon for a while. T-Mobile was great when I traveled a lot for work but has horrible signal at home and now that I'm teleworking it makes no sense to stay with them. So when I took my car in for service and had a little time to wait I excitedly walked to this location thinking I finally had the time and opportunity to swap services. I walk in and there are three men in suits looking at me from across the store. I instantly recognize the look on their faces from decades of sales and marketing experience. It's the "is this person going to buy something or waste my time" look. After a pause while I looked around the place, one suit finally steps away from the others and approaches me. I literally tell him I'm interested in transferring to Verizon and have read there are specials. I need 2 lines and may be interested in 2 new phones. Are there any specials for new customers? He tells me he's not sure, the specials change, we can check online. Ok. So we head over to a computer. He's not finding much. I add I'm a current Verizon internet customer, are there any deals to add mobile? (I constantly get flyers in the mail for this so thought this would be any easy yes.). He couldn't find anything. I then said I'm in the military and I heard on the radio there are specials for military. He searches around online a bit more and then tells me, "check the website". I shared I would have done all of this online myself - and attempted to - but the Verizon website is confusing which is why I was there in person. He just looks at me. I'm beginning to wonder if his slightly glazed bloodshot eyes are from lack of sleep - which is what I previously thought - or if he's hung over. (Maybe both?) Even though he smiles and has been polite, at this point I'm not going to waste any more of my time. I say I'm going to leave. He tells me: "Yes, you should go and think about it." What I think is that was a textbook way to lose a customer who walked in and was ready to make a deal on the spot. read more

My boyfriend and mother go in to get him a new phone. A female with tattoos was very flirty and basically throwing herself on him. Numbers were exchanged and the rest is history. Yes it's very much his fault but you don't expect Loose females to be an issue going to Verizon. It's very unprofessional and it could one day cause unnecessary issues at the establishment. I highly recommend something be done to remedy this situation. No room for this disgusting display of nonsense at a place of business. Bring Ben back!!! He was amazing and not easy. read more

Have had a technical issue with my phone and despite contacting Verizon online and via phone have gotten nowhere. Decided to go to the store to see if I could get someone in person to assist, rather than just a voice on the end of a phone or worse, a "chat bot." Jacob greeted me promptly and listened carefully to the problem. While I found from this visit that the store is a seller/"contractor" to Verizon, and isn't "Verizon Central," so to speak, Jacob tried to assist but hit the same problem that I have been running into. So, basically acting as my advocate, he took the time to contact Verizon itself and together we worked with not just one, but two account people with Verizon. Even they couldn't solve the problem (neither could the people with whom I spoke back in December 2024, 2 months ago) but the second rep put in a second technical service ticket and scheduled a call-back time to follow up (which the person in December never did, even though it was promised). So while my problem still hasn't been solved, I feel that I'm hopefully a little closer to a solution. But the basic point is that Jacob, at this store, was interested, attentive and helpful, and I want to thank him and commend him for that. All told he spent nearly an hour trying to help and get me to someone directly within Verizon. He's clearly popular because during all that time 3 other customers came in following up with him. Despite "juggling" 4 customers, he helped all of us; he asked very courteously at various times while we were waiting on the Verizon rep if he could attend to another customer, but he never "dropped" me and continued to assist until the conversation with the Verizon rep finished up. Just paid for two liquid glass protectant sets for $40+ a piece, because the first person who processed my transaction asked in a very annoyed tone "can you do it, or do you want me to do it?" So i very hesitantly said I can try, and well it clearly didnt work. So I went back inside, went to a different associate paid for another liquid glass product and thankfully the other employee did their job and helped set it up. Im fairly upset about how all of this went about. If the first rep would have actually done their job, then cool, but I had to pay double money for an employee's laziness. Wow huge mistake trying to get my new iPhone through a Verizon retailer. When I went in to initially order my phone, the sales rep, Katie, was super helpful and friendly. Placing the order was easy and Katie was able to answer all my questions. I was told I would get a call once my phone arrived. Fast forward to around the date my phone should be arriving. I happen to track my phone delivery through the Fedex tracking ID and saw that it got delivered to the store. No one notified me - I didn't get a call/text/email, nothing. I call the store and ask if my phone has arrived and if I can pick it up. They said it's ready...was someone going to call and let me know..?? When I go pick up my phone, a different sales rep helps me grab my phone. He starts setting it up for me, which I found odd because I know you need to pair your old and new phone to transfer everything over. He says I'm ready to go and all I need to do is log into my iCloud account. I get home and am very confused because my phone is still at factory settings after his "setup". I call the store back and ask how to transfer everything over, and they said it's very complicated and I could come back in for them to do it for me - for $40! At this point I'm very frustrated and I call Apple for help. They essentially told me to factory reset my new phone so I can do the quick set up where my phones pair everything within an hour - I did that and it was a super easy process. In that time I review my bill and see i was charged a $40 set up fee..for what?? I set up my new phone myself!! Moral of the story, just order your phones directly from Apple or don't let the reps try and set it up for you. read more

Amazing customer service at this Verizon location, lucky to have them situated literally less than a mile from my house. My phone was all jacked up, so Ben helped me with a soft reboot, then showed me that one of my apps was a potential issue. Then he helped me with a tablet promo I qualified for... $300 tablet for $29! All this while he was professionally handling a disgruntled customer who quite frankly was a disturbance to the entire store. She caused such a scene, it was amazing that she wasn't escorted from the premises. What's with these entitled NOVA peeps?!? My sales rep, Chris, was courteous. However, he made quite a few mistakes in setting up my new account as I transferred from AT&T to Verizon. I have been regretting this. He incorrectly input my birthdate which resulted in unnecessary identity checks and a major delay. He overcharged me $100 for a $1 tablet promotion, and also said it would be $10/month but my bill said $20/month. He sold me on a kid's plan for the second phone I purchased "to help save me money" but turns out he did not know the details of the plan and it was unavailable to me. He admitted this to me on my third visit to the store in four days, but only after telling me that I was the one who was mistaken. Said and done, I spent a total of five hours in that store across three visits which is more time than it took me to finance a new car. Also, the BOGO promotion they have running doesn't get you a free phone if you buy one -- it only drops the cost down to $700 so that's false advertising. Chris did say he would give me a $40 credit or gift card for my trouble, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that. Would I recommend this store? Absolutely not. Training seems to be lacking here, and I was given quite a bit of misinformation possibly to make the sale. I will only return if I do end up returning these two new iphones and going back to AT&T. After correcting all of his mistakes, the switch is not saving me any money. My reception also isn't any better, but that's another story. Do yourself a favor if you must use Verizon, and stay away from these Cellular Sales stores that look like Verizon stores. read more

Extremely pleased with the attention, thoroughness, time spent, and clear explanations given by our Verizon rep Craig -- as my wife and I upgraded our two iPhones (XR and 6S) to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was nervous about achieving a seamless migration (iCloud backup and restoration) of the older phones to the new phones, and was impressed by how quick and accurate the overall process was. As a new customer to Verizon, I am absolutely frustrated. Saying that the phone will be shipped on Thursday morning, then change to Thursday afternoon, then on Friday morning. Saying that they will find out the situation and call me back, but never called me back. Saying that it will be overnight shipment, but because of the weekend, and not overnight shipment, it is actually 5 days delivery. Not apologizing for the miscommunication but just blaming fellow staff. I am absolutely disgusted. Once my phone arrives, I will enjoy brand new phone with great coverage provided by Verizon. My usual opinion of cell phone salespeople is about the same as of car mechanics, computer repairmen, and creepy dudes hanging out at public playgrounds. I've worked with Ben Brown for the past 5 years and couldn't have a better experience- he's knowledgeable, courteous, and doesn't push products or extra features that I don't need. He always takes a look at my account to see if he can make any adjustments to save me money (and frequently does, since Verizon seems to change plan types and offers every time the sun comes up). When I have upgrades available, he sends me a text reminder and lets me know what the best deals are for trade-ins and discounts. Yes, reps at this store and many others are paid by commission as Kit F. pointed out- but Ben knows that repeat business are more valuable to him than adding a couple bucks to his check and making someone irritated. If you haven't had a go-to sales rep before, definitely visit this Verizon location and ask for Ben. read more

Chris Tyson, in what we thought was a real Verizon store at 10950 Fairfax Blvd., in Fairfax, seems like he is actively trying to burn down Verizon's customer relationships. When we arrived, we told him that we needed to activate my daughter's new iPhone, have her contacts transferred from her old iPhone to the new one, and install the new Verizon Sim card that came with the phone, which we bought from Best Buy. He said that he could do all of that, and he started taking her phone apart. I did think that it was odd that he did not ask for my Verizon account info. Unlike reps at a real Verizon store, all he wanted was our Apple ID and password. Then he said that the phone did not need the new SIM card. I said that the old phone had been giving us SIM card error messages, and I just wanted her to have all of the new equipment. He refused to install the new Sim card, so we said we would just leave. Then he said that he would install the new Sim card, and I said OK. Then he said, "I'm not going to do it, I've changed my mind." I said, "Are you reversing yourself?" He said, "Yes." I asked him why, and he said he didn't feel like doing it. I began to call Verizon customer service. He still would not do what he had agreed to do. So we had to wait while he put the old phone back together, and then we left. My daughter was really upset. It ruined the whole night. It was a horrible experience. Now that I know this is NOT an actual Verizon corporate store, all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAD SITUATION AND GO TO A REAL VERIZON STORE. read more
