Horrible experience. My husband and I went in to get our phone screen protector replaced because we paid for unlimited phone screen protection and it felt like the employee was doing everything in their power not to help us and kept saying it couldn't be done through we had our account and all the information up saying all we needed was our phone number and we can get a screen protector screen replaced no problem as long as they have it in stock. It wasn't until after pulling their teeth that they said "We only have the iPhone 15 pro max screen protector in stock " which if the salesperson took 5 seconds to actually see our phone would know that's the phone we both have and still refused to change a simple screen protector even though we paid for that service when setting up the account. Though hey I have gotta give it to them at least the company is consistent in disappointing their customers. read more

These people are shameless sales people. The guy "helping me" was sneaking fees for unnecessary services that I never even asked for. He didn't even mention that he was charging these fees until after when I noticed (which was after I already paid). Basically set up a protection plan for $60 extra a month without even acknowledging it. On top of that he charged me $120 to transfer data from my old iPhone to the new one which I didn't even want him to do considering it takes 5 minutes to do it yourself at home. But of course he didn't want to mention he was charging my $120 for a few minute task that your allowed to do yourself. DONT COME HERE AT ALL!! read more

The worst decision I made was to go to this store for changing my service to Verizon. The guy that helped us was in a rush to leave (family party ) and we was just there to finish transferring all the information to our new phone by ourselves . Besides that he NEVER disclosed to us that we have to pay all the taxes for all our phone and their " service set up fee"($35 per lines ) immediately . It's a shame how they can scam customers.. Went to this location for 2 new phones, however, left there with 2 new iPhone 13's AND 2 new, supposedly "FREE" iPads! The salesperson, Kirk, said I would only be charged taxes for the 2 iPads! That was a lie! I'm being charged taxes AND a monthly fee for each line attached to the iPads, for 3 years!!! Such deception! Kirk said because I'm a senior and a 20 yr. Customer, these are "FREE"! No resolution for me unless I sell these IPads and apply the $ to the bill! read more

I had a great experience here today! Went in and was immediately helped. Brigitte was so friendly and helped me get exactly what I wanted. While I am 25 years old, she recognized that I was not on my own account and she did not try to scam me or sell me anything I didn't need. She showed me the differences between different phones I was looking at and was so patient as I was deciding. Brigitte even helped pick out some awesome phone cases for me!! I came here about 3 weeks ago with a s7 that decided it didn't want to turn back on and all signs in my mind that my information was lost forever. Thankfully, with the extraordinary assistance from Rob S., I exited with a brand new phone with all my information recovered! He was extremely patient and took the time to go over all my options. Rob also noticed that my family may be better suited for a new plan and offered to change that as well, which we were pleased to be notified about. I also happened to leave my old charger at the store and he was kind enough to store it for me to pick up at a later time. I went to this store yesterday to get a screen protector. The salesman or the con artist i should say brandon told me he will put the screen protector on my phone. He told me he needed exact cash so I ran next door to chiptole to give him exact amount. I never got to see the box of the screen protector. After I left i noticed that my keyboard on my phone was lagging a lot since he put on the wrong screen protector. I had to go to bestbuy to fix his mess up. They wont give me a refund which is bullshit. This is the worst customer service and a bunch of theifs working there. Do not give these crooks any of your business. Everything that was done in this store turned out to be a disaster. PROBLEM #1: We bought a new smartphone and wanted the More Everything plan with 1GB of shared data and unlimited talk and text. We ended up with 2GB of data on both phones, no shared plan and no unlimited talk. We were told this new plan would all take effect at the end of our billing month; which was in 3 days after the purchase. When we noticed a week later that our usage info was still not reflecting the change, we were told by the salesman in the store that the change was just not showing up yet on our phone. We believed him, until our very high bill arrived 2 weeks later. We called Verizon and they resolved everything; but it was clear that if we had not straightened this out with Verizon directly we would not have gotten anything we asked for--except for the new phone. PROBLEM #2: Before we realized our own transaction had been a disaster, we brought a friend of ours in to buy her first smart phone and change from her prepaid phone. We bought the phone quickly, but then disaster struck again as her new phone could not be activated. After sitting there nearly 4 hours we left exasperated and came back an hour later, hoping everything would be fixed. We were then told to go home and the activation would probably happen automatically by midnight; but would definately happen by 3pm the next day. So our friend--who lives in Brooklyn--left without cellphone service, even though she has emergency nursing clients that rely on that phone number for services. When 3pm came and went we began calling Verizon directly and were eventually told, "this phone cannot be activated because the saleman in the store messed up the process right from the beginning." When my friend called the saleman directly he complained that he "lost a lot of sales" while he was working on resolving her problem. We returned the phone the next day and were told that this whole thing was actually Verizon's fault and was a computer glitch. At least they did not charge us the $35 restocking fee. But, when we said we wanted to cancel the insurance on the new phone--which by the way is not Verizon insurance but a 3rd party insurer--the manager said, "Oh, you want to cancel the insurance too?" as if we would consider keeping insurance on a phone that we returned. There is a lot more to this ridiculous Cellular Sales story, but bottom line, my advise is to do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I don't know if the problem was incompetence or falsehoods or both, but I do know that this was one of the worst retail experiences I have had in over 40 years. From now on I will only deal with an official Verizon store, not an authorized retailer. read more

Not exactly sure how this place has 5 stars. I went in with my boyfriend and all of the sales associates were busy, which is fine but no one even acknowledged our existence. We sat there for about 15 minutes without as much as a hello. I work in customer service and never EVER let someone sit there looking around for more then 30 seconds without saying a word. A simple "someone will be right with you" would have sufficed. I will NEVER return back to this location and will tell anyone I know the same. I'd rather travel the extra miles to the Massapequa location. Something like this would have NEVER happened there. Shame. read more

If it was possible to go lower than one star I certainly would. Over the course of 2 days and over 6 hours of speaking (and not speaking) to sales associates I have has the worst time with Verizon to date. Now I have been a loyal customer for overt 4 years and I have been pleased, overall with my service until today. Here's what happened. On 11/9 I walked into the store with the intent of replacing my water damaged phone with one of the free upgrades. After speaking with a sales associate my data was transferred to my new phone and all seemed well. Unfortunately, ne neglected to check which number he was transferring and instead of my information, transferred my sibling's data and deactivated her phone. It took another half hour or so to get her up and running again and, in the meantime I was still at square 1. The associate then retried to transfer my information and, in doing so, mangled the transfer process so much that a newer phone had to replace the interim one. At this point, 3 hours after arriving, I was given my new upgraded phone. The only caveat was that I could not receive text messages. After some time with tech support I was sent home without texting and a promise it would work in 24 hours. 48 hours later, 11/11 I went back to inquire as to why the problem still wasn't fixed. I spoke with a different associate, as the one I spoke with was not there. This woman PUT ME ON THE PHONE with tech support while she went out to help other customers. I did her job for her for another hour or so until the tech support people helped me fix it. The sales associate was already helping another customer so I just walked away... By far this was the most disappointing and surprising experience I've had with Version. The lack of tact and professionalism was apparent. The incompetence speaks for itself. I would advise visiting a different location or changing providers altogether. read more

I went in there today to replace my phone charger. A guy with a lot go attitude approached me, asked me what I was there for, and got the charger. I had to ask to test it to make sure that it worked, which it did NOT, and he simply told me my phone was broken and didn't offer me any solution. I went to the Five Below in the same parking lot and bought a $5 charger that charged worked instantly and was way cheaper than the $30 broken one he tried to sell me. read more
