Five stars for an AT&T Store? It's surprising to me, too. Don't get me wrong it's not like you get a free massage and coffee while you wait (wouldn't that be awesome?), and you sometimes can have a bit of a wait since there's only one employee working in here at a time, but both employees (AJ & Zane) I've had the chance to interact with recently, and both really delivered above and beyond. The five stars is really in comparison to other AT&T stores (the only place to fairly judge a chain/franchise in my opinion). What brought us into the AT&T Store was an upgrade program. Both my wife and I were due for new phones, and AT&T was running a deal too good to pass up. We headed inside on a weekend and were greeted by AJ. AJ discussed the options with us, including pricing, and offered some balanced, personalized recommendations for devices to select. He also discussed the options to purchase and trade-in, even offering some suggestions to minimize hassle and time spent in the store. In the end, he made some solid recommendations! What I also liked about AJ was the fact that he reviewed our monthly bill to try to discuss how we can save on our current plan. In the end I really felt like he was looking out for us. The option we selected for the trade-in process was to have the items shipped directly to our home. Within 3 business days (at a specified time), we had the equivalent of a mobile AT&T store (an AT&T employee in a vehicle with accessories to purchase on hand) pull up to our home right on schedule. The employee confirmed our info and helped us set up our new phones. We mentioned we wanted to double-check that everything was transferred before giving up our old phones. Overall the whole process was smooth and simple, taking up to 30 minutes. Our next store visit introduced us to Zane. We headed in and handed in our old phones, and the process took about 5 minutes. Zane also helped get us set up with some screen protectors, and he even offered to place the protectors on our new phones for us. One protector (worth $50 by the way) had some dust on it after it was installed. Without hesitating, Zane took off the protector, threw it out, and installed a new one free of charge. He also mentioned the free warranty program. Basically if the screen protector ever cracks or breaks, we just bring it back to the store with the original box and get a new one for free. Personally what impressed me most, though, was not how Zane attended to us but how he attended to another customer. An older gentleman was furiously taking down notes about how to use his iPhone. He joked that he's in here every week to learn how to use his phone. Zane was taking the time to show him all the basics. To me, that's exemplary service that deserves to get recognized. The store itself is small and limited in what's available to take home that day (a lot needs to be ordered/shipped), but it's also in a convenient location in Rockville Centre. They also were following all the safety protocols with plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. For us, the process of dealing with this store was efficient, positive, and hassle-free. We'll definitely be back in the future. read more

Don't purchase your phone here. Was charged $98 in accessories that I didn't ask for. Sales associate started ringing up three items and when i told them I didn't want the items and asked what they were he told me they were included! They automatically added it to the receipt which they wouldn't even give me until I asked on my way out. Went to return a few weeks later and they wouldn't accept return. Associate picked out the most expensive cover and added it to my receipt without asking. Beware and don't let them rip you off like they ripped me off. Do not shop here. read more

I had a problem that no one at any other at&t could help me with and the manager went above and beyond with the patience of a saint. i will always go out of my way to this store and skip the ones closer to me. He really went above and beyond for me when no one else could figure out the issue. He really cares about his customers and i will be a customer for life read more

The manager Lisa from this store SUCKS. I got my Samsung Galaxy S10 form the Bellmore story - with the deal that I was to get $100.00 credit card with my trade in, this was back in March. They have been bouncing me around so much I am furious!!!!!! Every time I call, she is in a meeting, out to lunch or just her day off. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! read more

I went in to this AT&T location at around 7:45pm last Friday night after failing to get the iPhone that my mom and I wanted at best buy. I have to say this was the best experience I've ever had with AT&T. The store was closing at 8pm but the sales associate, Mark took us anyway. He was so awesome. I could tell he had plans because around 8:10 his phone was ringing but he still took his time with us. He upgraded both my mom's phone and the phone we were getting for my grandma as a gift, he helped us choose the right case, put the cases on, and he put on our screen protectors. He even took a look at our bill and helped us remove some of the unnecessary items that we were paying for. Even though the store was closing he was patient and helpful. We never felt rushed or pressured. My mom and I were blown away by the amazing customer service we received. Thanks so much Mark! read more

OMG this was the worst service I have ever experienced, and the worker, Zane, was condescending and threw me out of his store. I was retiring in 2 days and needed to give back my company phone so my wife was kind enough to give me her old iPhone (formerly Verizon). All I needed was to activate a new line and get an AT&T SIM card. Zane, the worker, was condescending from the very beginning but I provided everything he asked for- driver's license, credit card, social security number. He kept asking me for my cell number and I kept explaining that I don't have a cell number and am not porting one over- AT&T could just assign any 516 area number and it would be fine. He just kept getting more and more miffed as if I wasn't cooperating (???). He then said my driver's license was "declined". I was very surprised by that because a driver's license is not a credit card. There's nothing to decline?!? He asked me to show him my passport or he would not open a new line for me. I don't know about most people, but I don't normally walk around with my passport in my pocket, though I'd be glad to show it as an ID if I had it on me. I asked if there is anything else I can show him as a secondary ID, but Zane said he would only accept a government ID. Fortunately I work for a New York State agency and had my ID on me. Zane's voice got louder and huffier as he told me that what I had in my hand is NOT a government ID (it actually is issued by a NY State government agency). When I tried to explain that it actually is, he stepped back, got angry, accused me of trying to push my work ID on him, and told me I was suspicious and that I have to leave "HIS" store right now. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. This person should be ashamed of how he treats people and AT&T should send him for customer service retraining. I still needed the line activated so I went home, got my passport and drove to another AT&T store in Lynbrook where the rep was really professional and knew his stuff. My driver's license was perfectly acceptable there and my new phone was activated in no time and working fine. I would never in a million years go back to the Rockville Centre AT&T store or have anything to do with the worker- Zane. read more

It is not bad enough he is incompetent but it is like speaking to a walrus on the phone We purchased 2 new XR Iphones , spent $1800 and they were not delivered to our home as promised they have no record of the purchase with phone number SSN and credit card given and can not help me in any way. So after attempting to have a conversation with the mute Oscar, the brains of the operation Dexter is off and they can not do anything for me! uhh you can start with giving me back $1800 you thief!! read more

Seth was very nice and helpful. He made a good effort to make sure my issues with my phone were resolved. He helped getting my phone set up properly, something I did not experience at another AT&T store at the Roosevelt Field Mall failed to do which is where I brought the phone.
