After a rude, childish, and flat out unprofessional experience at the Deerfield Beach Verizon store, I stopped in the Pompano Verizon store and immediately felt the difference. It was run by adults. Shaunna greeted me warmly and invited me to have a seat. For the next hour or so, she introduced the options available to me and worked to find the best phone and plan for my budget. Easy going, helpful, and honest it was a real pleasure to work with someone dedicated who is both personal and professional. Anything regarding my phone or communications need, now or in the future, I will go first to Shaunna. Verizon connection is poor to terrible during the weekdays in Pompano Beach US1 and Atlantic area. When ever I am here it takes hours to send or receive texts and I often can not dial out. They have not interest in fixing the problem. read more

Awful awful experience, if I could give zero stars I would. The clerk was super rude and told me I could not receive the same offer my mother and brother did exactly one day ago. Threatened to not give my phone back and had to test if I could get the offer leaving me in limbo. Worst experience ever, took my phone back and left the premises. I took my senior citizen father into cellular sales last summer, to get him a better signal. We just saw the verizon logo, thought this was a corporate store. Anyways typically we were greeted my smiling sales people, yet little did we know what nefarious trap we were being led into. This was the single worst customer service interaction of my entire life. Shauna was the saleswoman, who was helpful and friendly. She said yes to all my concerns and questions. It seemed perfect. My father had a one year old iPhone 11 that worked perfect but she said, you get a free phone (12) if you sign up now. Even though the 13 was coming out we figured why not, it's free right? Wrong. They completely bamboozled us, my 82 year old father! Have they no shame? What follows is a harrowing journey of David vs Goliath. You'll find out very quickly that if you are screwed by this company they will make it very difficult for you to recover. So what actually happened was we were not given a free phone at all, we were charged full price. When we discovered it, we were met with anger, disbelief, called liars, asked to leave the store. 30+ hours on the phone with some of the rudest reps I have ever encountered (remember they got you in a contract and they know this, no customer service needed you are trapped) . They refused to help us refund my father. He was so stressed, how could they steal from a senior citizen? And then yell at us, "investigate" the claim and put us through one of the worst ordeals. Turns out Shauna made a mistake as the computer systems were down, at the time of the sale, then she got pregnant and wasn't in the showroom. We had no recourse. It was our word against theirs. They asked us about the condition of my dads iPhone 11, tons of questions but I was there, we were offered a free phone. Why would we trade a perfect 11 for a 12 when the 13 was almost out. Ridiculous. Finally after weeks of high stress ordeals and trips to multiple store and hours on hold (at least 20+) with both cellular sales and verizon, (which did nothing) I went back to this location with the intention of refusing to leave unless I was arrested or they refunded us. We got a great representative who found the error, and even though he couldn't fix it we were able to convince the extremely cocky and rude reps at cellular sales corporate to investigate. They hung up on me multiple times! After weeks and weeks they didn't apologize but instead told us "how it's going to be" you'll get a check for $100 and the bill will be lowered going forward etc etc. Totally humiliating experience. I advise you to RUN from this location and Verizon in general. I wish we could get out of our contract this has been a nightmare. You'd think they could have offered us something or apologized, or just been nice about it. No.. they gave us more rules and told us "this is what you get, and when" Run from this business. Run for your life... especially senior citizens they will take advantage of you. read more

I upgraded my phone and when I sent the old phone back to Verizon, UPS delivered the phone to T Mobile instead and I was left to pay $550 because Verizon never received the phone. This store must have given me the incorrect shipping label. read more

OMG, I've never seen so much incompetence. Went to this store to inquire about how to get credit for the Affordable Connectivity Program that I was approved for with my new Internet service with Verizon. I was told that I had to purchase an $80.00 wireless phone service in order to qualify. WRONG!! Come to find out, Verizon doesn't even offer credit for the Internet Affordable Connectivity Program in Florida. The two 12 years olds that waited on my me had major attitude problems. One couldn't bother taking his feet off the counter to act half way courteous to me. Needless to say, after 5 hours of Internet service, I was told to returned the modem/router to a corporate office at 2501 N. Federal Hwy, Ft Lauderdale, FL. The gentleman in that store was so empathetic and courteous. The only bright spot of an entire day dealing with incompetence on-line chat, customer service and in-store. I have to say that even though the phone I wanted to purchase was not in stock anywhere, Ralph made my experience wonderful. He was able to obtain my new phone and get it set up as per my needed parameters even through this virus crisis we are going through. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and explained everything. I had to connect two numbers into one phone as to separate business and personal calls and texts. He is an asset to the company and they have been wonderful to me over the years hence my loyalty to Verizon. I am very happy with my experience at the store and most of all with Ralph's service. read more

Here the staff members compete against each other for who can stay longer with each client, they're in this Island time bubble where time doesn't matter. That is on top of not knowing basic things such as the difference between an iPad and an iPhone charger. Then they charge you for stuff you didn't ask for. Then they take money outta your account immediately but the refunds will take a week to come back. All of that in one hour and a half visit. Just to pick up an iPad. read more

got my wife a new phone here about a month ago and went back for a case for my phone. staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. when my wife upgraded even though she was signed in and the new phone was downloading everything they didn't want us to leave until everything was downloaded and she verified everything was back. Even advised against buying certain accessories and explained charge times vs spending more money. read more

On May 2nd, I went to this store to upgrade 2 iphones. I asked the Sales Rep to explain all the charges associated with the sale. Initially she explained that it would be a slight monthly increase based on a trade in promotion. I was OK with that. I then asked if there were other charges and she explained that there was a 1 time $35 activation fee per device. I was OK with that. I then asked if there were ANY other charges and she said no (outside of the new protection case). I told her that we should then proceed. She handed me my receipt at the end and I left the store. Upon review of the receipt I noticed that I was charged $40/device for 3 devices as setup fees which were not disclosed to me. In addition, the sales rep told me that I could no longer use my old power cords as they would ruin the battery so I ended up spending an additional $110 on new power cables. Upon researching, that was a complete lie. In fact, you can use the old power cables without causing any damage to the phones (verified by Apple). So my main issues are lack of disclosure on fees and blatant dishonesty around the product. I filed a complaint with Cellular Sales Customer Service and was denied. read more
