This Staples is located in a huge shopping plaza, so finding parking is not an issue. I sometimes forget that this is a great place to get office supplies and electronics...I usually think of Target or Best Buy for these items, but I found a good selection of AirTAG products last time I was there. Had to visit Staples while I was on my trip, and I must say the customer service was terrible. The employee working in the Copy & Print Center clearly seemed like he didn't want to do his job--or maybe this was the most customers he's had to deal with all week, and it's only Wednesday. The printers were having issues, and instead of assisting the multiple customers who needed help, he walked around with an attitude, offered little assistance, and even helped people out of order. After speaking with a manager, I expected the situation to improve, but unfortunately the service only got worse. I waited over 30 minutes for assistance and still didn't receive the help I needed. To make matters worse, none of the employees appeared to be wearing name tags, making it impossible to identify who was assisting customers. Customer service should be a priority, especially when customers are already dealing with equipment problems. This experience at the Staples location on North Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point was extremely disappointing. read more

I ordered business cards early last week that were scheduled to be done on 12/6. When I called on 12/11, I was left on hold for over 30 mins and no one came back to the phone. I decided to go in-store the next day (12/12) to pick up the cards. When I arrived the cards had still not been made! I had to wait an extra 30 mins for the lady to remake the cards. Thankfully the lady was nice, but this is not the first time I've had problems with this Staples. I don't recommend this location and will not be back. read more

I was rather taken to read some really great reviews on this Staples store. I said to myself, how could this be? After all Staples is nothing but big box outlet store, I've been to several off them generally enduring lack a lack of customer service along with might be akin to a disorganized organization in their displays and setups. So, being in the market for a 4T backup for my computer, I decided to give it a try and I'm pleased to report that my fellow Yelpers were correct, this really is Staples store that is easily a cut above the rest. On entering I immediately noted everything was clean, no boxes littering the aisles, the customer service desk was uncluttered and all of the displays in a neat orderly form of presentation. As I wondered the aisles I was politely asked more than once if I needed assistance and when I finally began look at the various backup units was immediately approached by a sales clerk who was polite, helpful and best of all most knowledgeable about every facet of each and every backup unit they had available which proved to be most helpful to me in making my selection. So yes, I agree with the previous reviewers, this is a really great Staples and now I too am a fan of it. It really is a cut above other Staples locations which I would generally only rate Two or at best Three Stars. read more

When someone finally acknowledged me, I was told I had to go to the copy machines to make my own copies. Two of the copy machines were broken. This is store selling stationary products like computer paper, business cards and posters, electronic gadgets and computer and printer items. I find them quite expensive but I mainly shop here for discontinued items which are marked down as much as ninety percent and business cards. I recently made two purchases of 1000 business cards I found staff to be very professional yet friendly and very helpful. They have the best prices on business cards. $20 for a thousand in color which is more than $50 less than their leading competition. I will continue to buy here just for the items I really want...the items that are reasonably priced. May I add, my business cards came out perfect. read more

I had a pretty crappy experience ordering online. I ordered and got a confirmation, I called the Lauderhill Store (only place that had my item in stock) 5 times to see if I could get my system. After 2- 45 minute holds my computer was ready. I get the system and the specs I was promised was not delivered. So i called the store in lauderhill, the employee told me (the day I bought my system) it's not our problem reach out to dell!! I go into the lighthouse point location ready to return and Dan, the manager, explains everything and I leave happy and with the right product. I don't know what to think. Ordered a printer and toner online which was supposed to be ready "within the hour". I showed up to the store nearly 2 hours later with my order no where to be found. An employee put me on the phone with Staples customer service. I was hung up on and I had to redial. After about 30 min of waiting around I was notified on the phone that my order was good to go but to wait 10 min for it to process. I mean it said it was "ready for pickup" online, however it wasn't. I had to go over and get the items from the shelves myself. I mean I could've just showed up to the store and buy the items, online pick up was supposed to be faster? Ever since the Staples location closer to me went out of business, this one has been the one I'd go to. I've been disappointed a couple times when their website said they had something in stock in this location, but it turns out they don't have it but just didn't bother to update their inventory numbers. It's a huge bummer, as it's 20-30 minutes away. The last couple times I came, they just said their computer listed the item as in stock but they couldn't see it anywhere, and they figured it sold without updating. No solutions or suggestions for alternatives. Ended up having to leave and going to an Office Depot closer to me to get it. I used to preferentially buy supplies from Staples because I was a rewards member with them for the longest time, but as their locations keep closing down and the site doesn't accurately reflect what they actually have in stock, it's getting increasingly difficult to justify making the trips to the store without knowing I'll get what I need. read more

Had a great experience buying a new computer here. The saleswoman helped me pick out the right computer for me, and it wasn't on the shelf! It was in the back and on sale and its great. Then Lucas took my broke down dead computer and moved over every singe file for FREE! It was part of the promotion to move one set of files but he truly hooked me up. I don't regularly buy office supply items but I find their prices to be higher then expected for even the most basic items. I have found the Copy/Print employees to be very helpful @ pointing me in the right direction. I usually have to go to them because there is never any sales floor employees, which is strange.
