In December 2025, I upgraded 2 phones on my plan. During out time in this Verizon store I was told about a promotion for an IPad, and would have to pay the service for iPad for ONE YEAR. I explicitly asked several times, this is for one year. And told by the salesman, all I had to do was stop back in the store and ask for the IPad to be removed from my plan. I stopped into the store today 2/22/26 and was told the IPad was a 3 year plan and the service could not be removed from my plan. It's truly sad that salesman at this store use deceit to make their sales. I will not be doing my business there anymore. And would encourage anyone who frequents the Verizon Store on West Genesee St in Fairmount to use caution with their purchase. read more

The first person I encountered was texted on his phone. A man at a desk said he could help me. Without standing he wanted to know what I wanted. I said I was told by the 800 customer service that I could return Fios equipment here. "We don't accept that stuff here. " I repeated that I have been dealing with Verizon for 3 months to close the account and that customer service stated I could bring it to any Verizon store. "You need to bring that to Baldwinsville" and stated the address. I asked what it was near he replied to look it up on my GPS! For once in my life I was a "Karen". It was my mother's account and she passed in December and I have been trying to close the account since. They were very rude! As was I. I found out later the rumor is that one family owns that store and the men of that family work there. read more

Great experience after a very frustrating day. My phone was on the older side, but Malik tried everything possible to get it functioning again. In the end it was time for a new phone. He helped me get the best possible upgrade without costing me anything crazy. Super happy with the new phone and overall assistance by Malik. Definitely would recommend this store and employee.
