Do outages occur, yes, almost always due to electrical storms. Does W2N keep me informed, yes. Do they answer the phone and keep you advised by email, yes. Can you talk to a tech, yes. In 2022 government promised rural folks high speed internet. Over half-way through 2025, how is that working for you? One company was able to gobble up the contracts in this tri-state area and lots of counties, apparently with no penalties for glacial progress bordering on non-performance. Price: appears to be in the ballpark of what people are willing to pay and what providers want to make it worth doing the job. Would I like it free, sure. It remains true: there ain't no free lunch. I believe there is visible economic competition that won't let the price rise much. Over the past 20 years, I've tried 7 ISP, that I can name, virtually all of the possible ISP in my area.
