I took my iPhone 14 Pro Max to GUI in Winchester on July 6 after it developed the "white screen of…read moredeath." The phone still responded to touch, but the display was completely white. They replaced the screen, and that issue was fixed. Over the next week, I started noticing problems that I had never experienced before the repair. During phone calls, if I held the phone to my ear and then pulled it away to switch to speaker so I could look something up or use my phone while talking, the screen would stay completely black and I couldn't access it. The only way to use my phone again was to wait until the other person hung up. I also stopped receiving wake-screen notifications--the phone would vibrate and make a sound, but the display wouldn't turn on. Before going back to the store, I waited a full week to make sure it wasn't a software issue and even reset my phone, but the problems continued. I went back on July 13, and the technician gave me two options: leave my phone for a couple of days for diagnostics or replace the screen again. Since I couldn't be without my phone because of doctor appointments, bills, and other responsibilities, I chose to have the screen replaced again. When I returned today ( July 18) to finally leave it for diagnostics, I was told that a diagnostic test had actually been done on July 13 &' everything came back normal. This was never mentioned to me at the time until today. The technician then said he never told me diagnostics would take a couple of days only a couple of hours, even though that's what I understood from our previous conversation. Instead of offering a solution, he suggested I just buy a new phone, even though I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, which isn't an old device. I paid $208 for the original screen replacement, and every issue I'm experiencing started only AFTER the repair. I left feeling like my concerns were dismissed and that I wasn't being taken seriously. The technician came across as rude, and I was disappointed by the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service. I simply wanted my phone fixed properly and my concerns addressed.

And during my final appointment FOREVER with this company, I think I finally figured out why that is: Here's an AirServ appointment. I was told that a blower component in my attic AC unit would cost would cost $466 to clean. My appointment was 8-12. The tech arrived at 11:12 AM. approx 2 hours later, I went to check on the tech and heard laughter and chatting in my attic. So, THAT'S why it takes them 4 hours: they're scrolling on TikTok and chatting up their friends. After I called up to the tech, shortly afterwards, I watched the tech bring the part down to "clean" it in my driveway with my garden hose. Bright sparkling metal. If there was a mote of dust on that part, I didn't see it. I stood and watched as the tech rinsed it with my garden hose, sprayed some prepared solution from a pump bottle, and scrubbed it with a PAINT BRUSH. Rinse. Total time: 5 minutes. Looked exactly the same after the tech was done. Roughly a half hour later, the tech told me there was yet another hour ahead for reinstallment. At 3:27 PM, my AC unit was broken and the tech had requested another tech to be sent. The tech told me I'd receive a call from AireServ. A half hour later, still no call. I called them. I was told the tech would be there shortly. At 5:34pm their "Neighborly" tracker said he'd arrived. He'd already called and said he was 15 min away. At 5:56pm he arrived. It took him 30 minutes to finalize the maintenance-turned-repair, but I was at the attic opening the entire time. Total time start to finish: 10.5 hours. How much is YOUR time worth? I just paid AirServe $466 to ruin my ENTIRE day.

Their employee, Tyler, came to our house and looked over everything we had to move and gave us a price of $1750 to move 2 beds (frame and mattresses), 2 nightstands, 8 dressers, a washer and dryer, and 1 mirror and a small chest freezer. We also had another quote for $1200 from a competing company. I told Tyler, the estimator, that the other price was $1200 and he said, "let me see what I can do" and then offered to do the job "all in at $1425.". All we had to do was leave our $200 deposit & we'd get a call from scheduling. The price fair and we shook his hand and left the $200 deposit. A few days passed, and no one had called to schedule a time for the move. We called them yesterday, the day before the move, to see when the movers would arrive. They told us that our time was between 8 AM and 9 AM. They arrived around 8:30 today. We met the movers -Carlos, the lead mover, Juan, and Jesner. The gentlemen were just awesome. They were professional, hard working, excellent at making sure our items were placed where we wanted them, and they were so kind. They are the only positive part of Patton Moving. When they finished the job, Carlos provided us a bill for almost $2300. We explained to him that Tyler had quoted $1425 for everything. To get this fixed, we needed to call the office. The owner was so incredibly rude and argumentative. He told us that quotes are "just ideas" and he demanded payment. We explained that there was absolutely no information, spoken or written, that covered this. We reiterated that Tyler told us that we were "all in at $1425..." and shook Tyler's hand. The owner remained belligerent and started telling us that the movers didn't have lunch and had to walk 36 steps to get into our house and it took longer than expected to move us and to pay him. He was extremely unprofessional and treated us as if it was OUR fault that their employee lied to us and misquoted the job. We are the customer and Tyler had ample opportunity to walk our home, see our furniture, and provide us with a price. Tyler demonstrated that either he is awful at quoting jobs, or he is awful at it AND he engages in what I believe are devious business practices. The owner must also engage in these devious practices as he did not listen to a word we said. Tyler did us wrong when he lowered our price just to get the job. He told us "all in" it was $1425.00. He said nothing about mileage, additional hours, or that your "quote" was floating. Never in my life have I had a "floating" quote for moving. He walked through our house with us, gave us a price, and we shook hands. I felt horrible for the gentleman who did our physical moving for us. They were just awesome. Patton Moving does not deserve to have such good people working for them. I'd hire all three of them to work for me any day! My husband agreed to split the difference with them, and yes, we did get screwed over. Legally, we didn't have to pay it. I would've preferred to see them in court than pay a company that sends people out to give low ball quotes with nothing else disclosed, then bills them frivolously and fraudulently. My husband just wanted an end to the stress so he paid - although now he regrets that. We paid more that "splitting the difference" because they also didn't credit our $200 deposit. He also said my husband was rude when he called to talk about the bill. My husband was not at all rude. From the moment the owner picked up the phone, he was aggressive and my husband called him out on his rudeness which made the owner even more aggressive. This company is not one with integrity and I cannot believe what we experienced from the shady tactics to the treatment from the rude owner and his lies. Buyer beware. What I've written is the truth.
