The installation was a bit complicated, but Kurt's guys, Joe and Adam, stuck with it and didn't take the easy way out. The next day, a Sunday, a piece on the dish went bad. Excede told me I would have to wait three days for a tech to come out to make the repairs. This is after more than 50 minutes on the phone. I called Kurt, and he drove in from his home - 90 plus minutes each way - to hook me back up to the Internet. I am very grateful for his diligence and integrity in backing up his product. He answers the phone and is available, and Always, Always seems to have the answers I need, When I need them. He is devoted to his customers and loyal, and his install team does a fast, efficient job too. My first dish with them, Joe installed in ice and know and I know his hands were freezing too! They are good, hard working and really get the job done right! In this business, they truly excel and do care about their customers, something other companies should do, but many don't give us the time of day. It is a relief to be able to call someone who knows and is willing to go that extra distance. They are really an asset and very valuable team and you're lucky to get their service and install!

The second time he said his name I immediately remembered him. JD stayed patient the whole time. We talked through a bunch of different ideas, and when he ran out of options he reached out to coworkers to see what had worked for them. It never felt like he was just trying to close the ticket and move on. Talking with JD was night and day compared to typical support calls--clear native English communication (rare for today's standards), practical thinking, and real ownership of the problem instead of reading a checklist. That level of service should be the standard. At one point I told him, "Sometimes there's only so much you can do--I'll take the L." He came right back with, "No, I'm not leaving you hanging." And he didn't. Internet's fixed, and we put a plan in place so this doesn't happen again. Called in multiple days. JD showed up twice. Problem solved.

    Shentel is absolutely hands down the worst…read more. Several months ago the power company dug up our FiOS cable. We called shentel to come repair it. Over a period of at least two months they would come do a little and leave. Finally a third person came dug up a hole to splice the line and left the hole. I called several times to get someone to come back and fill the hole in. My kid fell inside the hole. I begged and pleaded with them to come back and fill the hole as I didn't want to mess with the junction box they placed deep inside the hole. I finally just had to fill the hole myself. Think about that I paid them for a service A lot of money every month and I have to go out and manually fill in a hole and repair what they created. Not to mention they screwed up my property by digging a deep hole. They have yet to return to fill in the hole.
