It took longer than expected. The young man doing the repair asked me to come back in 30 minutes. I came back in an hour and he still wasn't done and he seemed almost annoyed that Id come back. I left and came back an hour later. The repair was completed but the screen does not fit exactly like before. Its a small difference, but it isn't flush with the bezel and you can tell when looking at it from the side. Okay but not great.

I had no idea that that was an issue so I didn't mention it when I dropped my phone off. Not only that, when I did drop my phone off, they didn't even ask for my name OR a number to reach me at. I found this to be REALLY sketchy. I told them my name anyway and they put a small sticker on my phone with my last name on it. They told me it'd cost $75, that was considerably cheaper than the first time I got the screen replaced so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They told me to come back for my phone in an hour. I went shopping for an hour and half and came back. When I came back, they told me they couldn't fix the screen because it was already fixed before. Since it was apparently replaced with a screen that isn't authentic (which I was not aware of, it says "Samsung" on it....), they told me that it would cost $129 because they would need to replace the LCD screen as well. They guaranteed that they would crack the screen if they pulled the replaced screen off. I'm going to assume that replacing the LCD screen is some sort of liability... Which is funny since not getting any of my information sounds like that could have been a liability, could it not? I decided to look for more estimates because that is ridiculous. Especially since they didn't get a number to contact me on. My screen is also a lot looser than it was before I brought it in. I was considering not fixing the screen and just living with the crack but now it's mandatory that I get the screen replaced. I found another store that estimated me at the same price, if I can't find anything better (though I may be able to get it replaced for $89 at a location farther away, feel free to ask me about it), I will be taking my business there. I am visiting from Los Angeles and back home, they always ask for some contact information to let you know that they are done fixing your phone. The cell phone repair store I normally go to even checks in while he's repairing.

Was told if I wanted a replacement I had to buy it. Was told to leave the store because I insisted that a lifetime warranty must be honored. I am preparing legal action, at minimum a small claims filing, but one of my attornies suggests we can do more. VERY RUDE PEOPLE...I was dressed in work clothes...I think they assumed they could get away with this because I looked like a working stiff. That is a foolish error, and there will be a price to pay. Took it to the Kenwood store where the gentleman helping said he would get me a new one. Then he said they would try to repair it. I have been very clear that I do not want a repaired computer that I spent almost $1300 on 4 months ago. My husband and I have been to Kenwood. We have emails stating the computer would be ready today 7/10 or tomorrow 7/11. We were just told it is waiting for a part and they don't have a pick up date. I just told another representative that I want to cancel the repair and receive a new computer. He suggested I get the repaired one back and trade it in. Really? The topper is that you can not call this store directly. The number takes you to apple support. Apple tried calling the store for me by using a phrase that lets the store know to answer. The store still didn't connect. This is Apple. We have been customers for many years. Our son worked there for 6 years. We have never had bad service and/or no resolve. The worst!
