Stopped in to get a new FREE phone according to what Verizon advertises. After you sign the contract they THEN tell you about the over $ 200.00 taxes, and three year commitment. Your first bill will then be over $160.00 for the set up fees they never tell you about. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS LACK OF HONESTY AND PROFESSIONALISM. Clients should be informed on charges prior . I do not recommend getting a phone at the Oyster Bay branch, or perhaps with any Verizon branch. So the free phone they advertise, will cost you $500.00 in set up fees! read more

Giving a shout out to Alex and Johnny of our local Verizon store located in Oyster Bay (next to Marios)....they not only came through BIG TIME for my son who needed a new phone only hours before leaving for a vacation in CA but they also came through BIG TIME in upgrading mine and my wife's phones from historic age Google Pixels to the latest in Samsung technology...the process of upgrading and of transferring all of our data, photos and applications was absolutely seamless.....not only was service always accompanied with a smile.....but a constant refrain from Alex that if you ever have any questions or need any instructions as to your new phone, "just stop by any time and I will HELP...".........such service is so hard to find these days as most unfortunately it has become the exception... and so when you encounter such exceptional service, it should be commended and recognized....... read more

My wife bought me a bundle for the I.phone 12pro $97+taxes. Case ,screen protector, adapter and charger. Not bad. I didn't liked it so I returned it to store, by the way the screen protector broke the moment I tried to position it,no problem I'll pay for it! Surprise they charged me $49 dollars for it. I didn't know it was made of gold (sarcasm). Amazon sells it 3 for $7.50 free shipping. What a rip off! I do not recommend this Verizon store to anybody it is shameful. read more

Qais and his brother go above and beyond for their customers. They helped by mom with her iPhone 6S battery problem. Qais offered to try a new battery without charging her first. He also was able to give us the BOGO on the XR. My mom decided to get a new phone even though all her 6S needed was the new battery. My son was able to upgrade his I phone 8+ with this BOGO offer. They didn't have the phone case my son liked so he gave us a free one for him to use since he didn't want his phone to break till his case arrived in the mail. He also gave both new phone screen protectors. They were also able to help my mom lower her Verizon Fios bill. This Verizon store outdid themselves with customer service. I stopped by the Oyster Bay Verizon on Sunday (3.25.18) morning after a different location incorrectly setup my new phone. The 2 guys who helped me were awesome. Very professional, patient and figured out the issue. I appreciate how much time they spent on my phone even though it was clear I was not buying anything. I don't live in the area but when I mentioned how great the service was to my (local) family they also mentioned having positive experiences in the store. read more

I have to say, it is rare when I indicate a business with a very low rating, however my most recent experience here equals the criteria of 1 star. I have been a customer at this specific location for 10+ years. Undergoing a change in management several times, I still supported this privately owned retailer because of the convenient location and simply to support local businesses in my town. However, my experience this past Sunday was beyond words. I assisted a family member in switching from an Android to an iPhone. Being I was more knowledgeable in the field, I decided to communicate with the sales associate myself to better my family member's options as far as getting a new phone. I arrived at the store at approximately 2:15 pm. There was one sales associate and two people waiting. Like everyone else, we waited. Zero notice of how long the wait would be, not even an acknowledgement that we walked into the store. Now it's about 2:45, still nothing. I finally decided to say "Hi there, can you tell me how long the wait will be". She responded with "Well, I'm helping them so whenever I'm done". Okay, still not a clear cut answer, but after a half hour, I finally got a word out of her. For the past half hour, she was assisting the customers in putting on a Life Proof Case for their phones. Something they could've done easily, but it was almost out of spite that she was doing this. Me, along with the rest of the 3 people waiting behind me we're getting annoyed, rightfully so. Finally, after 45 minutes of watching her put on a cellphone case, she helps us. I 100% understand she was by herself and I understand it's very time consuming per customer, but at least acknowledge your customers. Anyway, she told me she was only working there only a few weeks and did not know how to transfer data from an Android to an iPhone. So, she was looking up customer help sites, how-to's, downloading apps and basically teaching herself how to do the task any Verizon Wireless associate should know, bottom line. She knew I was getting annoyed with her approach and way of going about the situation. She said she could not easily transfer data because the new owners, now known as "TCC" did not grant employees with a computer or laptop to transfer data. I did not question the TCC policy. Yet she replied with "You think they give us computers? I can't even get a drink of water because they took away our water coolers". Very unprofessional to bash the company you work for. She kept complaining about how she couldn't enjoy her bagel because of how busy the store was. Now, it is now roughly 4:30pm. Almost 2 hours and nothing has been accomplished. Knowing the store closed at 5pm, she kept reminding me "We close at 5 so if this isn't done, you can come back tomorrow". To be frank, no, I could not come back the following day due to my work schedule. So I was not leaving that store until what I needed to be done was done. Mind you, in the correct and appropriate way. She replied with "Well I have a train to catch so I'm closing the doors at 5pm". Her tone and response was outlandish. This is how you are talking to someone who's been a supporting loyal customer with a business account? I have never been to a store that was rushing me out because of prior engagements. My apologizes, but I skipped out on several things I had to do that day in order to successfully switch from an Android to an iPhone. Her performance, behavior and overall aura made me never want to return to that store again. I left the store as she closed the door in my face behind me. Where people outside the store clearly saw her attitude towards me. They were also just as disgusted and questioned what occurred. BUYER BEWARE - I went into this store to get my "free" phone which I knew would not be free. I was not looking for a tablet but the salesperson/assistant manager convinced me that I should look at the tablet. Telling me that the table could do a lot more than my kindle. What more I'm still not sure. The table would also be "free" with my purchase. I left my phone to have the info transferred to the new phone. When I came back I told her that I didn't want the tablet, she said she had already activated it. I went home with it (my mistake). I called Verizon and when I was looking at my contract the salesperson signed my name in 2 places. Not cool! I was also told I was locked into a 2 year contract for the tablet for $10. Of course I ran back to the store to return it. When I spoke with the manager he did apologize but tried to explain her signing my name. I was told I would not be charged a restocking fee by Verizon because I didn't take the table out of the box but the manager informed me that they did not have follow Verizon Corporate guidelines. They try to rip you off at every angle. I tried to give business to a local store since I live in the area but in the end I should have take a drive 15 mins to Verizon Corporate store...
