I'm currently deciding if I want to switch carriers & instead of going online I went into a store to ask questions etc. Upon entering the store I was greeted and told that I would be helped shortly. That wasn't the case, I sat and waiting hoping there was another associate but there was only one worker and she was preoccupied. Not even a follow up to let me know that I would be helped. I decided to just go ahead and leave as it became apparent that I wouldn't be getting help anytime soon. The worker didn't attempt to make contact as I was leaving which sealed the deal for me. If I could give no stars, I would. I have been a customer for over 25 years yet these past couple of years have been horrendous with Verizon. Their customer service skills are lacking with their attitude of not caring or problem solving, the lack of follow through with Verizon Up Rewards with Super Tickets that were ever sent to me but were successfully claimed, poor connectivity, and everyone passing the buck when it comes to honesty and accountability. Spent hours on the phone trying to get an issue resolved, took it to their social media account direct messaging to only be told to call them again. ‍ They are one of the most expensive wireless carriers yet have the worst reputation. I am ready to find a different carrier at this point. So disappointed and discouraged with Verizon. read more

The store manager Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really wanted to get out of my Sprint plan for something more affordable and had better service . Switching over was quick and easy . The store is clean and the employees seem genuinely happy to assist . I traded an iPhone 7 for the red XR. I LOVE IT . The lady that assisted us (i forgot her name ) didn't just sit behind the desk and charge us a whole bunch of money without explaining . Jordan made sure throughout the whole process everything was ok . Not much a a surprise that Verizon was way cheaper than sprint with MUCH better service quality. I walked out with two brand new iPhone XRs with a case and i didn't even spend more than 100$ . Jordan made sure i got the best deal that suited my needs and i appreciated that . I've been having issues with my phone, some major, others not so much. I've been through 3 phones in about 6 weeks. So instead of driving all the way back to Victorville or Hesperia store, I went to the Barstow location. My very first experience was with a representative named David. I found David to be extremely knowledgeable in his field. He helped me with several of my issues, not once, but on a few visits to the store. He is honest and will go the extra mile to make sure the customer is taken care of. When I visit the store David is the only rep I will deal with. He is patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. And if he is not quite sure about something, he will research and not just blow smoke in your face. When I go in I don't care how long of a wait I have, I will wait to see him. I highly recommend David to anyone visiting the store. I personally nicknamed him the "Miracle Worker". It's because of him that I'm still a Verizon customer. David, if you read this, thank you so much for all of your help and assistance!! read more

I have been with Verizon for roughly 12 years now, and every experience has been decent. nothing great, but not horrible. EXCEPT this one. The company is still normal operations, so if you've been with any phone company you wouldnt be surprised. The customer service is beyond exceptional, from the moment I walked in looking to replace a broken phone, I didn't feel like I was being scammed, or being sold something I didnt need. Breanna (The employee who assisted me) helped me feel welcome and comforted as I ended up not replacing my phone but rather getting a phone that was far better fit for me. Litterly the best people, the manager Breanna is such a sweetheart and went above and beyond, took her time to explain everything and on top of that found multiple ways to help my family and give us the best of the best. Went in to get my wife a new phone so we can give our daughter her old one, Susie helped us and she was amazing we talked like we knew her for years and she looked at account and we ended up getting 2 new iPhones for the price of one and an iPad for not to much up front. I would fact check anything they tell you before making a decision. Their employee lied to me stating that my i phone 6S could not be activated because it would not operate when they update to 5G. So I basically felt I had no choice then to get a brand new phone. Later I find out my 6s was compatible so I basically traded in my phone and got a new phone (that I don't even like) for no reason. I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Victra Verizon in Barstow. The lady that helped us (BREANNA) was still helping another customer when she tried to help us - rude! When we finally finished our purchase she told me I'd still have to call customer support to transfer over my current number. When I got home and called Verizon customer support they were shocked and said this should've been done in the store. Oh this reminds me she left work during our transaction and turned us over to another associate, I'm pretty sure now that she didn't want to take the time to do our transaction right cause she was in a hurry to leave, that's why I was told to call customer support. Well a few days later I received a call from her (BREANNA) and she informed me something was wrong and tried to blame it on "whatever customer support did". She asked if I could come back in the store so she could sort it out, I did and felt she was desperately trying to cover her own butt on things (even went behind closed door to talk to someone on the phone about it, VERY unprofessional!). She did apologize and said if there's anything I need to just let her know. Well about 10 days later my screen protector she put on chipped and cracked so since it's still new and since she "owed me one" (her words) I went back in (so I didn't have to pay the shipping on the warranty) and I expressed I was waiting for her but she ignored me and never helped me. This is the worst Verizon I have EVER been too and it's because of my experience with that associate. Can't believe she is the so called "manager" (at least that's what she told me). Verizon is holding my phone number hostage. I transferred my number over from TMOBILE in 2014, my boyfriend thought it would save us money to only have one phone company to pay. Well, now, he has become ill, his family came in and took him away from our home. His son-in-law works for Verizon, so he removed me as account manager, and now I am having problems removing my phone number from this account "without the account owners" approval. I've paid the past due amount, as Verizon said was necessary to do, I've submitted a letter my now husband signed giving me permission to handle any and all his accounts, which Verizon is now saying they dont have a record of. I don't understand what the issue is. It's my phone (device), I've been paying on it, I've also been paying for the other two devices on the account, I've had this phone number since 2009 and I'd like to keep it. All I would like to do is remove myself from the account. According to one representative that I talked to, it is against company policy for employees to touch their own accounts or those of their parents, but everyone seems to want to over look the fact that its happening in this account. I've made four calls today alone with each call having a wait time of over and hour, only to have each call dropped. read more

Today while I was getting off from work, I went to Verizon in barstow by staters to pay a bill. When I got out of the car one of the employees saw me ran back inside said something and then walked off to the car, when I walked in the door not only did one of the employees stared at me but so did the other customets in the store as well. Not only did it feel uncomfortable but I felt like it was unprofessional and childish to do, but stuff like this is what's causing alot of businesses in barstow to lose customers. I been a faithful customer to Verizon for 10 years and never had that level of issues brought towards my attention. I felt like it was a poor source of customer service I also felt like those employees should be replaced with people who are more professional and on top of that factor I feel like people should be treated with respect especially if it comes to their business at my job I feel like my customers are always first no I can't attend to every customer at that very second but I do my best to make sure all my customers are now only feeling comfortable in my job but also treated with a level of respect now not all employees think the same way but I don't do childish stuff like that at my job and I should feel that it should be the same way at any other place whether it's Walmart, Staters, Vons, Food 4 Less, or even Verizon this action today kind of makes me not want to go to Verizon anymore in Barstow and just take my business either in Lenwood or Victorville or just changed my phone company with someone else who has better customer service if anyone went through this before please either like or comment on this post because I feel like today's level of BS was not only uncomfortable and unprofessional but it makes me wish that there wasn't a Verizon in Barstow. read more
