"I visited the Verizon store on Agoan about three months ago. I asked the staff if they had any promotions, and they said yes. However,after I make a purchase in the store , the promotion wasn't applied. After repeatedly calling and returning to the store, about three months later, the manager finally reinstated the promotion. But he also added a charge--$25 per month extra for each line--and told me that if I moved the promotion, it would disappear. I asked why they didn't inform me earlier, and they just said, 'It is what it is,' and refused to help further. Very disappointed by their lack of communication and customer support." When I at T. The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. I was finally making a move from Xfinity and after a lot of thought, decided on Verizon Fios. This place was the closest for me to collect my Fios router and we locked it too. The age of internet makes things so simple that we set up the pick up to payment everything online and just had to show up at the store for pickup. The shop is among the many stores that the mall area offers and hence parking was not at all a problem. They had a good respect for the pandemic and strict rules to follow Social distancing and wearing masks inside the shop. We waited in the line and when our turn came up, gave my phone number and after verification, the service person brought our router and we were on our way out in no matter of time. PS - As far as the router, it has been a terrific purchase after a long battle of slowness issues we fought with Xfinity. read more

The assistant manager, Eric, wanted to fight when I asked him why he went outside in the middle of helping me with a sale so that he could vape. The most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. They do not answer their phone and seem to be run by children. I was supposed to receive $800 trade in credit, but the store employees kept my phone and never submitted it back to Verizon. I am now dealing with the police to get this handled. Verizon is doing nothing to help since Victra is a 3rd party retailer. Please reconsider doing business here as you will be stuck dealing with them once you make a purchase. read more

This Verizon Wireless franchise has extra fees that they tell you about at the very last minute, Columbo style. Oh, by the way, we not only charge a $30 upgrade fee but there is also a $20 activation fee. Since you can't activate the phone yourself, they figure you will have no choice.....but you do.....go to a Verizon owned store and voila, no activation fee. Beware though, these fine folks might hold your account hostage so that nobody else can do anything because once you balk at their fee and go elsewhere, they have to undo everything they did to upgrade your account which never was completed because of their sneaky extra fee. That took 6 phone calls and two hours so I guess I paid one way or another. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this "authorized dealer" read more

I would recommend anyone that has an issue with their telephone to go to this Verizon Store. I had a phone that did not work at all, and was not eligible for an upgrade. Thanks to David, my problems were completely solved and I walked away an extremely happy customer. David went above and beyond to resolve the problem. I recommend this store due to the knowledge they have. A Verizon store on Broadway in Bayonne was not helpful at all. They told me I would have to wait 4 months to solve the problem. Sorry but I need to vent. On Sat I went to the Verizon store by the Stop and Shop to buy a screen saver for my new Galaxy S9 phone. I was there around 1pm and at 4pm the glass cover that they put on came off of my phone. I called the store to let them know that I wanted a refund of my $45. They told me that they don't refund on those items but if I purchase another glass screen saver, they'll give me 6 free replacements when they come off. Are they totally nuts? They want me to spend another $45 for the same thing to happen over and over again. Never going back to that store again. Wish I had seen the 1-star rating before I went there. read more

Pathetic service, most unprofessional people, a rep called wayne helped us and made major mistakes, understandable but they should have done something id they made a mistake. When I went back to the store with a problem with my phone, the customer service at the was horrendous (BAD), but the district manager promptly addressed my complaint based on my first Yelp review, handled the issue very professionally and two weeks later, I was issued a credit. I can't begin to stress the poor service I received deciding to come into this store. I happened to have stopped by having some time after grocery shopping, remembering that under my husband's plan I was eligible for an upgrade. Being that I use my phone for everything, timing was perfect. I was greeted by love deep, a kid that I ended up realizing is completely inexperienced. From the get go everything he was telling me didn't make sense. He began by offering me an older phone model, where for just a couple of dollars more, I could have gotten a newer model. When it came time to tell me what my overall bill would be, I stood in shock. I came in for an upgrade, and I was almost going to walk out, with not only being offered an older phone model, but a would be higher bill than I was paying now. This kid should not be working at a job where he falsifies information for a quick buck. I'm not very savvy when it comes to my iphone. I somehow erased all of my contacts and messed up one of the settings on my phone so that I wasn't receiving text messages. I stopped in GoWireless and was greeted by Raul Lastra. Within minutes he had restored all of my contacts and fixed the setting so that I was getting my text messages already while I was in the store. In those few minutes he also answered my 50 questions and explained everything in detail. Great customer service. Fast forward 2 days later and I somehow messed my phone up again. It was a Sunday night so the store was closed and I decided to contact apple and was on the phone with them for 3 hours to no avail. Monday after work I decided to stop in GoWireless again and thank goodness Raul was there again to help me. Within seconds this time my phone was fixed and he again answered all of my questions with the patience of a saint. He did in seconds what apple couldn't do in hours. Thanks to Raul I was able to enjoy this night with my daughter instead of wasting it on the phone with Apple. read more

I've been to this location 2 times. It wasn't where I purchased my phone but I needed help. I had an excellent experience the second time which is why I am rating a 5. The first time that I came in I was greeted by several employees. The gentleman that ended up helping me that I thought was very courteous ended up leaving me very disappointed. I remember his name being Dave. I came in with a problem with my samsung phone, unfortunately it wasn't the first of my problems. This time I was not able to receive picture messages. After spending some time with me doing whatever it was, I thought everything was fixed being that I received a message or two, Unfortunately after leaving the same thing happened. After actually speaking to customer service this time, I was informed to go back where notes were placed on my account. The second time I was helped by someone named Wayne. I couldn't be more pleased. After reviewing the notes on my account, he was able to do everything to fix the problem so that I didn't need to get a replacement, When I'm due for an upgrade I'll be sure to come back. read more
