Take this as your sign to just go to the Apple Store. First they placed a Samsung screen on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Red flag number one! The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. Instead he was rude and I, the customer, had to ask "So how can we fix this?" He wanted $250 AGAIN to make me pay for a new screen. Why would I do that if the first one completely failed? Took an iphone 6 screen to be fixed. Turns out lcd & front screen are broken. Both cost me 65$ with a 5$ off coupon once you check in there at the store on the yelp app. Service took around 30 minutes where I went & came back. Disappointing part is that after I took the phone home I noticed that the lcd screen wasn't totally fit in the phone. This phone already had a small bent in its body due to a past fall. We took the phone again to the shop & the person who fixes phones said he can't do anything about it since he doesn't deal with metal dents in phones. I went in for a screen repair and he pointed out the blemishes on the LCD I hadn't even noticed.
