Let me tell about Verizon on Dowlen I had the best Customer Service from Ivette this week. This young women saved my businesses. She was very informative and help me get my phone lines up and running. I was so disappointed from Verizon on 860 Interstate 10S freeway because every time I go in their not wanted to help me and I ask questions why I can not get into my account they just tell me to call customer service. What really did it for me was when I did not like my phone I went back in 14days and trade it in they told me I could not trade it because the person that sold me the phone was not their and they work off commission. I was pretty much through with Verizon. But I went to the one on Dowlen road after 2 months later omg the CSR Ivette was so amazing I told her what happen. She wanted to keep my service with Verizon and she help me out. Amazing Amazing Amazing. Verizon need to give this young women a raise. I really don't refer people a lot. I went to the Verizon on Dowlen & I asked a sales person to open my phone bcuz I dropped it & the next day it said " no sim card"& I wanted to see if it had dislodged. He said oh no I can't open your phone becuz the battery is popping out. I asked another salesperson to help me & the 1st one said he could not help me becuz the lst guy said he was the Mgr. So, I told him to go back in the office & manage becuz he certainly is not a salesperson. Then we went to the College store. They opened the phone & got the phone working. I had a free phone offer so we decided to get a new phone & they said it would be in Friday & they would call me. Today I called & the phone was there & no one ever called me. I stayed on hold for 4 minutes & hung up. Genesis who kept saying "axe" instead of "ask". I asked if I could use my offer in Houston or Baytown & they said yes. I would not trust them to install my old phone to the new one. Beaumont is a dying POS & if this hastens it's demise, hip hip hooray. read more

Not only did you have no idea what you were talking about and were incredibly rude, but when confronted with logic you doubled down on your attitude and obstinate mood when you were wrong and clearly doing something illegal. I went to Verizon wireless in Beaumont for an upgrade on my phone. I have since had the upgrade charge show up twice on my credit card. I can't get a refund. I've complied with everything Verizon has requested, Verizon has admitted the error, but I can't seem to get my refund. I'm now liable for the credit card payment. They keep telling me they'll mail me a check and I was supposed to have gotten it by February 13, but still have not seen it. Go with any other company besides Verizon. read more

I've used this Verizon wireless for years for several reasons which include the following - 1. Product Availability 2. Customer Service/Support 3. Location is close to my home So about three weeks ago I order the new iPhone 11 Pro Max along with a bundle that included a wireless charger, a screen protector, and an otter box case. Upon the representative bringing the phone out to me he handed me my bag and I asked him if he could put the screen protector on for me as they always have done. He proceeds to tell me no that he cannot because it's a violation of their safety rules for COVID-19. All I could do is sit there and wonder how in the heck can that be a safety violation given that you're already bringing me out numerous products in a bag? It must be very convenient for this verizon wireless location to have a customer spend $1,500 for a phone/accessories, but when a customer asks to simply put a screen protector on they give a sorry excuse like that one. It simply seemed like the gentleman was to lazy to put it on. So I bring the phone home and put the screen protector on, and of course it's got bubbles in it. So now I just wasted a good $50 on a name brand screen protector all because this representative didn't want to help and support his customer. Worst corporate Verizon store I've ever been to. I came in with a glass screen protector to replace and a damaged charger. Screen protector 1st: they took off the old glass and I purchased a new one because I dropped my phone and it broke. Btw these glass screen protectors are awesome! When the rep in the store handed me my phone back with the new screen there were 17 bubbles in it, SEVENTEEN!!! I told him I needed him to get the bubbles out. Over the course of an hours he gave the phone back several times with bubbles everywhere and said he couldn't get them out because I'd broken the previous glass screen.... what??? The glass screen protector was designed to be broken and replaced rather than the actual screen. I kept giving it back to him and after about an hour I gave up. He was down to 2 bubbles so I guess I'll have to deal with that. Replacement charger: I am from Washington and am in Texas for the next few weeks. When I unplugged my charger from the wall the prongs stuck in the wall--really weird. It was obviously a factory issue with my $40 charger. I called the Verizon corporate store in Washington and they said "just bring it in and we'll replace it". It was purchased recently. Washington told me to just go into a corporate store in TX and they'll exchange it no problem. Well, not this Verizon store in Beaumont they wouldn't exchange it. All they did was keep trying to sell me a new one!! Horrible store, incompetent and rude staff. Not a customer friendly store. I will never go back to that location. read more

Treated like cattle here. Always a SUPER long wait and the service is almost always poor. Only interested in making a sale. I got a phone from the location on College st. a couple of weeks ago but didn't have my daughters phone with me when I upgraded. There was no wait and the staff treated me like family. Two days later I got to this location to try to get my daughters stuff transferred and they refused to help me without purchasing something. After I refused a couple of times and requested to speak to management they gave in and did it for me. What an awfully non-customer focused store! I had the worst experience at this location while I was visiting during the Holidays. I'll excuse the hour wait because it was just before Christmas, but I won't excuse the way I was treated by the rep. I can't remember his name (probably due to the anger block I've put on the day), but he was so beyond unhelpful that I can't put it into words. After the long wait, the rep had to use 3 different iPads before he finally gave up and walked over to a pc behind the counter (not exactly a big selling point for the iPads btw). he then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't "upgrade" my son's phone, even though his contract was up, without changing my data plan. I had just done this with my daughter's phone at our local store in Round Rock, literally 2 weeks before in the same situation with the same phone. His final suggestion to me was for me to go to a different provider if I didn't like the Verizon policies...so I left in an extremely heated way. It took everything I had not to explode in anger...luckily my son with with me, or probably would've lost it. The only reason I gave a 1 star rating is that there isn't an option for 0 stars....avoid this store if you have any choice at all. October 22, 2017 Verizon Store Beaumont Texas Very upset with service. A week and a half met with a service rep and I picked out a phone, which was an upgrade. She said it would be in about a week and made us an appointment to come in on a Sunday at 11am, which we were there. Was told she was off today, because of a change in schedule, and someone else would help. He told us opposite of everything she told us. Then he checked to see how many phones of that kind were in stock. Showed one, but could not find it. Then he told us phone could be delivered to our house by November 2, 2 weeks away. Why would want that, when we are upgrading from a flip phone and have never used a phone like this. So we were in for at least a a 3 to 4 week wait for a phone. Also, last year rented a phone to go on a trip and they did not hit a button to activate it and had NO phone service for the whole time we were gone. We did refund, but would rather not have to use a family members phone. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE. read more

AWFUL! This store lied to my Dad after my Mother passed away. They refused to send her phone in to Verizon for an account credit after Verizon 611 customer service told him to take the phone there. They told him that they could not take the phone because the charges had already been processed. They told him that he would have to pay the charges. We called 611 again and they said, that is not true. The store should have taken the phone back to send into Verizon for a full credit. After repeated phone calls to 611 and the 611 representative having to call the store himself, the store agreed, though rudely, to take the phone and send it back. This delay caused my Dad to get two more bills close to $300 each and almost 2 months of calling Verizon to get the credit applied to the account. Today, after paying the final bill to finally close this process, he gets a collection notice! After another call to Verizon and trying to explain what has happened over the past 2 months and being told we cant talk to you because that phone number is not a working number anymore, we finally got an answer that the balance is now zero! All of this agony for my Dad and myself could have been avoided if the Beaumont Store would have done what they were suppose to from the beginning. It is hard enough to lose a loved one, but to have Verizon treat us like this is inexcusable! read more
