Taylor and Supervisor were rude, cold, heartless and inconsiderate to me. Because I was and kept being billed excessively a couple of times two months in the row when I was not supposed to be unnecessarily, I closed my verizon account until at least my billing problem was resolved. Taylor's (a female) supervisor said he would not help me call out to customer service because I was no longer a verizon customer anymore. He would not help me figure out my problem. Said I needed to call a number that would does not allow people to call if they are not a customer anymore and he knew that. He should imo be fired for not being professional and is scuzzy. Has no manners. A creep. Taylor is not a good person to work with either. Both of them have terrible manners and are haughty. Taylor's investigative skills are not good at all, are horrible and she could not accurately pin point, find out what happened to me per being billed incorrectly. She told me information that was not true further aggravating me doing the opposite of what she is paid to do. I think Taylor is probably too stuck up to care about people when it comes down to things and is lazy. After leaving this office I went to another verizon store in town and they helped me big time, did what this main office in the area would not do by default and cares not to do. Got my problem resolved at the other office because other other person in different office had a heart, cared to understand what my problem was and helped see me through my problem. If you go to this office here can expect that the people working there supervisors and or not to not care about customers, people having billing problems when it comes down to getting skilled good help. I found like Taylor's supervisor they can as with me abuse their power, not act on helping you if they can get away with it while on a power trip and or not. read more

I would give zero starts if I could. I regret switching from AT&T to deal with this nightmare. my entire experience so far has been dog shit. I can't get ahold of any of at this company to resolve the issues that THEY created. ported my number, my phone does not work. I do not receive calls or texts. I call the automated system (which is a massive pos that understands nothing and is of absolutely no help) to find out the status of my number port. 37 minutes and 96 attempts later I finally get the system to tell me that the port has been successful and that I just need to power cycle my phone. I have cycled it three times, now. still nothing. still shows the incorrect phone number. Still not receiving calls or texts. Attempt to reach a live agent for assistance only to find out they work banker hours and I am not fucked till the next day. I need my phone for work. I work outside of 9-5. this is unacceptable. The kid that signed me up for service input my name incorrectly and made up some bullshit excuse when I pointed it out. Because of all of this, my cards have been flagged and are unusable. I do not recommend Verizon for anything. this has been a nightmare and I am furious. I want my fucking money back. I want my old service back. I want out of this bullshit agreement if nobody is going to help me. read more

(I cancelled my service in April when I moved out of state (Xfinity has the only internet, so I bundled with them). Received "sorry to see you go" emails from Verizon, but I'm still getting billed for an iPad linked to Verizon and I can't get Verizon to stop service, prompting multiple robocalls cause I ain't payin them $80/mo when I haven't used it. Went in for a long overdue need of a new phone. Ian was the amazing gentleman who i was long overdue for a new phone and a gentleman named Ian helped me. He listened to what i wanted, didnt try to upsell me on things i didnt want or need. He was fun and easy going and made sure before i left i didnt have any questions. If you are lucky enough to get to work with Ian you will be leaving not feeling like you have more questions or got pressured into buying something you didnt want. Forced masking is bad business. No medical exceptions. :( But on to the rest of it. Billing is screwed up. Won't accept cash except at a machine that takes $.50 of every bill inserted. Don't pay in ones! No receipt. "You'll get a txt msg." My service is not renewed though Ian the reluctant salesperson told me I'm all good to go. No refund on previous overcharge, and I don't expect them to be honest about this payment either. No direct access to a manager with authority to fix the multiple problems, just brushed away with "Call Customer Service" who passes it off as "I wrote a ticket on it, you'll get a txt msg." There is zero accountability in this company and no method at all of getting your money refunded or credited when they take it without giving phone service. Have been with Verizon for over four years and sorry about it. Bought a new I-Phone 8 today (Friday, Dec. 14) which cost me over $ 800.- an over two-year-old model. I was given no trade discount for my old phone since it wasn't functional. The sales person seemed professional until it came to transferring my content from the old to the new phone. It was Friday evening around 6 PM with me being the only customer in the store, everybody seemed to be Christmas shopping. Two other salespeople who were sitting around were asked by my sales person to help with the problem to transfer content. None of them knew how to do it. I was sent home with notes of questions to call Verizon Tech Support to solve the issue. When I contacted Tech Support by phone from home I was told that they couldn't help me, but I should go back to the store on Prairie the next day, a Corporate Store, and talk to the manager. Then, a while later, after all, someone contacted me from Tech Support to inform me that he would call back in 15 minutes trying to help resolve the problem. Well my phone later in the evening rang twice but both times disconnected within a couple of seconds, a typical Robocall scenario. This all went on over several hours.- Obviously, these people at Verizon are only trained in salesmanship and lack greatly in product knowledge. A sign of bad upper management. At this point, I am pretty POed at Verizon. Fortunately, my wife was able to figure it out and I have now my phonebook and all other content on my new I-Phone. All I can say is awesome service and the employees there can get the job done with no excuses. I had to make some major changes to our Verizon wireless account with our iphones, broadband internet card ect... The rep I worked with offered me the best and most cost effective solution and I really appreciated that. I personally switched providers but the rest of the family stayed. I was able to switch my iphone account to a broadband card I had to save $$ until my contract expires. Good Job Verizon you probably have the best customer service of any big corp. I initially went to another Verizon store and received great service. The gentleman was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. However, I wasn't yet ready to purchase a new phone. A few days later I was near this verizon store and decided to go ahead and do my upgrade. Very poor service. We are visiting from out of town and my husbands phone broke. We went to the Coeur D'Alene Verizon to get a new phone. Most of the people there were very friendly. However, the lady that was helping us was not. We bought a new MotoZ2. She wouldn't honor any of the Verizon offers currently available, charged us an upgrade fee when we were eligible for a free upgrade, and kept trying to sell us something that was offered for free online (a promotional Moto mod for $200-$300). After we left the store, we set the phone up in the car and went online and got our promotional Moto mod sent to us for free. Then we called Verizon and they immediately removed the upgrade fee. The company Verizon was great! The lady that helped us was awful. I recommend researching any offers that might be available and going to the Verizon down the street. read more

There are long standing problems with this Verizon store. It's not just one bad experience. Friends have related the same problems. The customer service is horrible, they don't even pretend to be friendly or helpful. The tech support is nonexistent. I had a problem with my phone freezing up during a network upgrade. I went to the Prairie customer service center and they had no one qualified to help with this problem. They actually referred me to the local Best Buy for help even tho I told them I did not buy my phone from Best Buy but thru Verizon. The guy at BB was aggravated by this but still tried to help me to no avail. I went back to Verizon store and they told me I needed a new phone. Customer service is unwilling to actually listen to the customer and totally unqualified to provide technical assistance. They only want to sell phones! Last year I bought an unlocked phone that was absolutely compatible and had to go to 3 Verizon stores to get service transferred to my phone. They were rude in asking what I paid for my phone and refused to help me get it connected. That's both incompetence and terrible service. I used Verizon for my service provider and I am not obligated to buy (over priced) phones from them. Just thismonth we tried to get an LG phone reactivated that was previously activated but as usual, zero customer service assistance. The phone was lost and then found and we needed to switch back to the LG phone. They kept telling us the phone was not compatible even tho it had already been on the network!! Also they spread the lie that these 4G phones won't work after January due to verizons upgrades and we need to buy new phones. ?? Funny, I have not been notified from Verizon that all our phones will no longer work after January...when do they plan on announcing that? It's another lie rom the Hayden Verizon customer service center. My friend was also told that same thing when she went there. What is going on!? Sooo...I plan to end my long standing Verizon account and take my business elsewhere. I've had verizon service since cell phones began but enough is enough. Verizon get a handle on the local stores here...especially the Prairie Ave store in Hayden. My advice is to research and hold your ground with these so called customer service folks and when you need tech support just always call Verizon and never go to the local store for tech help. If you are not buying anything from this location don't bother going here. My wife was told to go here for a problem with her Samsung phone overheating. This has been a known issue with Samsung products. She entered the store and spoke with BRIAN and he was very rude and walked away from her. Then the manager came out and told her the reason her phone was overheating was because she had CLEANMASTER downloaded on her phone. 500 million people downloaded this app. 4.6 stars and this is the reason her phone heats up to 165 degrees...don't think so. Before going into the store, I researched plans and discussed with my parents (who share a plan with me) exactly which changes we wanted to make to our account. Josh assisted me and was very personable, however instead of making the simple changes I requested, he created his own plan and set our account up in a way that would not share data or make use of the current promotion which was a primary reason we initially wanted to change plans. In addition, he led me to believe that the promotion would still apply, his plan would be cheaper, and the plan would include insurance at no extra cost. Upon the depletion of my data and a call to Verizon Wireless Customer Service (Melanie was great), I realized what had happened. Melanie quickly adjusted our plan to what I initially had requested, saving about $50/month from Josh's plan. We have been customers for about ten years now and have had general corporate frustrations here and there, but this was by far the most demeaning and dishonest experience we have had. They are dishonest. Not just once or with one person. What they tell you and what they actually sign you up for are two different things and never to the customers advantage. They also seem to have a knack for taking advantage of the elderly and non tech savvy. Please be very careful with these people and make sure every detail and charge is in writing and given to you before leaving, don't take what they say at face value. This is one of the most unhelpful stores I have ever encountered. There is a clear lack of training and accountability. Simple transactions take much longer than needed as it takes 3 or 4 of them to figure out what to do on each transaction and they end up calling in to corporate for support since they don't know how to do their jobs.
