The guy who actually worked on my laptop was not AND I ended up being charged more than double the price that I was quoted. I brought my laptop in because the keyboard wasn't working after reinstalling windows. They called me a few days later saying the battery doesn't work anymore and they were going to take it apart and do all this other stuff. The battery was fine and didn't end up being replaced or anything, but it had been sitting around uncharged for about 3 months. I told him it probably needs to be plugged in overnight and he started arguing with me over the phone about how that doesn't matter and I don't know what I'm talking about it. He said that only applies to car batteries. I convinced him to at least try it before replacing anything, and lo and behold, it charged and turned on. Lithium ion batteries can lose capacity if left uncharged for too long. That is simply a fact. When I went to pick up my laptop the next day the price was DOUBLE what I was originally quoted because the worker did a bunch of completely unnecessary work on the innards of the laptop when all that needed to be done was a reinstall of the original Acer software and drivers. They even admitted as much but still insisted on charging me for the work. On my original visit we were discussing a few upgrades that I was doing on my PC and they were going to install the parts for me when they arrived from Amazon, but after the fiasco with my laptop I will NEVER give them any business ever again. They lost a customer for life just so they could rip me off for $80 dollars. Disgraceful.

Assistant manager Stacy went above and beyond to help me with an issue. I had a tear in my brand new ecotherm parka(an accident by me). Being an expensive big purchase for me, I was pretty upset. I sat on the Eddie Bauer customer service line for literally hours, unable to reach anyone with the crazy holiday calls. I decided to try the store to see if they'd be able to help. Stacy was so helpful and immediately empathetic. She could tell I was upset and stressed, and threw out a few options that I had to remedy the situation. I wasn't expecting such a great outcome!!!! Obviously I wanted this jacket to last 10 years, and I was already amazed at how warm it was. I'm also a dog walker and outside a lot, and it has endured the coldest of the cold and soooo many dog nails from dogs jumping. Stacy restored my faith in outdoor retailers and I couldn't be happier. After realising my payments were doing nothing to my total i called in to find out i only had 6 months of 0 percent interest and that it all gets charged to the card after 6 months. I would of just bought it outright if I knew they were going to be scums. The quality of the product is just so much better, and you get more wear out of your clothing. The staff in the store is super friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my visit, even pulling things out of the back room that weren't on the floor yet for me to buy. They went above and beyond to make my experience amazing, and it really showed.

I was first approached by a taller woman with blonde hair, who asked what I needed. I told her I had an event that came up and I was looking for a dress. She told me they did not have any dresses in the store. I said I had found a dress online and was hoping that if they didn't have it in store, I would be able to order it, and maybe get it quicker going through the store. She told me she didn't know anything about that, and then sent me over to the other woman at the counter to get assistance. That lady was very busy opening a box of chocolates, setting them out and eating them. Finally, after a period of time, she walked behind the counter and said what is it you want? I told her that I was looking for the specific dress and was hoping I could order it. I asked her how long it would take to be shipped, I told her that I needed it by Wednesday of the following week. She seemed very put out, and annoyed by my request. She took, and ate another piece of chocolate, and with a mouthful she said "yeah, we tell people it's gonna take like 8 to 10 days to have anything delivered ". I was very off putt. The other woman there told me I should go to either Macy's or White House Black market. I did go to both of those stores. I found a dress that I liked but didn't love and purchased it. Then I decided to just sit down in the lounge area of the mall and go on your website. I ordered the dress, and chose next day delivery. It seems I will have the dress delivered by Tuesday of the week I needed it. I have never had a truly negative experience at any of your stores until today.
