% lines and internet moved to Verizon after ten years gone after I was assured things had changed. 3 lines took a week to port my kids had no phones due to this, yes my kids had no way to contact anyone for over a week. Bill credits not applied until I called and had to spend an hour or so on the phone. Gift card issued on May 19th, part of the offer to move. % cases opened, two emails provided and promises of followup calls that never happen. Case number 5 today. Over ten hours dealing with issues. Think twice people ten years and they haven't changed on bit. Take your money, make promises and never follow thru. If they let me go I'm going back to T mobile they were great!!! read more

For the last two times now they have screwed up the up grades and have tried to charge me an additional $1000 fees. We went into this store and were helped by the rudest individual ! We wanted to upgrade a line to the new iPhone, he looked at our account, said that she could not do it without paying for the upgrade and I didn't think that was right so I looked up my account myself, and it showed that there was an upgrade available if the phone was turned in with the upgrade that the fees would be waived for the remaining contract on that line. He told me I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about so went in my car online did not have to pay additional did not have to pay the remaining balance on the previous phone. It was waived just like it said online that it would be, a customer for Verizon for over 17 years I've gone to the store many times and not had an issue. I was very disappointed. read more

We got our phones in 2021, when the microchip shortage happened - we had to wait for 2 out of 3 phones to get ordered. Bill started out at around 250$/mo for 3 lines. We also got accessories (cases, screen protectors) After switching from AT&T when my husband changed jobs. Since we got Verizon we have NOT gotten the service we were promised and paying for. Everytime I called in I was told that it's showing on Verizons end no traffic and we should be getting 5G and full bars. Never has happened! We have had issues with phones going into SOS mode - showing no network connection (not just service but not reading carrier network at all!), not being able to send/receive text messages, calls, poor internet, SIM issues, basically everything that a phone is - we weren't getting. After many calls to support to trouble shoot and solve issues, support promised to send a network extender to try - waited months, called, never received. Sometimes when I called, they never even bothered to call back. Our bill just went up to 278$/mo and either the issues we have been having I called again due to higher bill and ongoing connectivity issues. They ran tests again, did a bunch of stuff to my phone and tried to give me a new esim (no mention of my missing promised extender) - whatever that support rendered my phone completely useless. I could not call out, could not send text, could not get internet at ALL. All I could do is call 611 but then even that call dropped and they couldn't call me back because the state my phone was in. I rushed to Dekalb Store for help. I am a SAHM with a 1 year old and we have been ill. I cannot be without a phone especially right now. They were not helpful. Told me to call Verizon support and offered to order me a new phone (I've been skeptical that it's the phone since we have had issues across all 3 lines.) I told them I could not call and to please help me call to solve issue - I have no other phone or service - all 3 phones in the home are Verizon and all 3 have been having issues for over a year - calling support has not provided solution, promises of network extender or other fixes had never been received after waiting months and clearly my history shows we have had ongoing issues with no resolution. And now our bill is almost 300$/mo! Are you guys going to pay my no contact no show for appointments I could not call to cancel with my vet, my daughters orthodontist, ect because I am sick and also left without phone service to call a doctor at that outrageous fee?! And then you clearly all have phones there, are in the business...there is absolutely zero reason why you could not assist me in providing me a way at your location to call Verizon under the circumstances. To add insult to injury, instead of good business and crediting my bill for the lack of service promised, your customer service representatives tried to sell me additional services at over 20$/ MORE per month despite the long term ongoing issues with my current set up. You lost a customer yesterday. I walked across the street to Tmobile and sent up 3 lines, upgraded phones & home internet for $150/mo 3 lines and $40/mo for home internet - I now actually get the 5G service and bars I was promised by you through TMobile at less of a cost! My problem now is that I am no longer a customer, I cannot check the status of the phone you allegedly ordered or cancel it. Can't get into our account - which we still have bills and prior bill history on the account so it seems almost criminal that I can't even get into that portion of my account with you & now suddenly I cannot get through to ANY Verizon Customer Service Representative. Awful business. And I tried to give them a shot, I tried to allow them to follow through, make things right and provide us a better service experience MANY times - it's 2024! We have been doing this since 2021! & our phones were even dropping off/paid and still somehow the bill was that much more than we started for all the numerous issues and inconsistencies and then blatant lack of assistance and follow through. read more

I'm SO DONE with Verizon!! I need to find a TracFone!! I went to the store as my phone not only keeps overheating it's not able to hold a charge so I wanted to take advantage of the FREEA phone which turn out to be a promotion gimmick!!! as I was informed the phone (1 of them) was no longer available and also the plan I have actually ISN'T AN UNLIMITED so I need to upgrade (charge) pay off the balance (charge) get another line (charge) as well add additional plan (charges) in order to get FREE PHOE then instead of my bill now being under $50 it would be over $150!!! WT?!!! so instead of using foul language and making my head hurt worse I went outside called a friend and then came back and asked for a Mgr which was unavailable so I then stepped out and said when I come back in 30 mins I would like to speak to him/her as I've been a loyal customer since 2005 so a new phone was order YET I haven't received it and now I can't seem to get through for someone to answer why PLUS my area DOESN'T HAVE 5G despite I was given the fear my phone would shut off if I didn't get a 5G in 2020!!! it actually is a 4G!! it seems the phones are set up to last only or about 2yrs and the stores really don't have any capabilities anymore to do anything to service a customer just refer them to new model read more

I hate going in here as there's always a pack of sales people waiting to sell you anything they can. I was having problems with my one year old cell phone voice mail and no one there could solve the issue. Their solution...trade my phone in for a brand new one which would mean additional payments. I went to this store on 8/2/17 in the late afternoon. I had recently gotten a new Verizon phone through my employer, but I didn't know how to activate it. The store was not very busy, and there were 3 employees standing near the front talking to each other. When I approached them, the guy who was closest to me asked what I needed (after I approached him... strike one). I told him that I had a new phone through my employer, but I didn't know how to activate it. He dismissively said "if it is through your employer, I won't be able to help you." (being dismissive... strike two). I asked if there was a way to transfer all of the info from my current phone to my new phone. Again, dismissively, he said "that's what iCloud is for." Strike three. I have been a Verizon customer for 15 years. Before I had an iPhone, I had an android phone, so I never had to switch between iPhones. I have never considered dropping Verizon until yesterday. After going home, I searched online and found the phone number to call to activate the new phone. I called the number, and it worked. I would expect a minimally competent employee to know that was the procedure to activate a new phone. Instead, I was basically told to go away. Here's the kicker - I have a personal phone in addition to my work phone. Had this guy bothered to talk to me for more than 15 seconds, he would have learned that I want to upgrade my personal phone, add another line for a family member, and probably add a new iPad with wifi. I have been to this verizon multiple times in the past and its always a stressful situation. This time was not the case!! Excellent customer service this time. I was helped by multiple friendly people, one gentleman even grabbed a water for me and a bit later two of my friends. I was ultimately helped by Kirsten N. They always mess up your bill and then act like they are unaware of any specials they offered you in the store. Wow! We have never been treated so poorly in any business. The guy that helped us, Brian, was completely unprofessional. He told us he was on commission and got rude when we didn't buy his $35 phone case. He offered us the 4 gig data plan but after a long time (over 2 hours) told us that that plan wasn't available. While Brian was on the phone talking to some boss another lady came out to also sell us accessories. She explained to us that buying a cell phone is like buying a car! These people are putting a bad mark on Verizon. If you need to use verizon run as fast as you can to another location. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have EVER had at a Verizon Store! Some hate that sales reps come up to them immediately wanting to sell them something but today this was not the case. In fact, I would have rather that happened because what I experienced today was rude and makes me consider switching to another provider for the 1st time in 12 years. I understand if the store is busy and everyone is with a customer but the fact that I was walked past several times without any acknowledgement and that I was even there was beyond frustrating. Then to add to it once a rep was done with a customer I still wasn't acknowledged or asked if I needed help with anything! And then helping customers who came in after me being helped next. Mr. Pighe ended up selling us 2 new IPhones with all the accessories! How did he manage this? Kindness, knew his stuff, never ending patience and honesty!!!
