My experience was...dare I say...pleasant? Came on Black Friday to buy the latest iPhone. Didn't wait too long and our CSR, Audrene, was well versed in the promos and super patient with my many, many questions. There was a new iPad and Apple Watch offer available to anyone who was buying an iPhone (Black Friday special, perhaps?) but after crunching the numbers with my partner (it calls for additional lines and a 3-year contract commitment) we realized it wasn't for us. But Audrene was super patient as we worked it out amongst ourselves. She was also not salty when my kid tracked brownie crumbs all over the store or when we started re-enacting the lift scene from Dirty Dancing in the middle of the store. Case selection was sad and overpriced but I think that's par of for the course. read more

I just bought a house Connecticut and decided to change phone services due to poor reception in the mountains. I have never received such horrible service and treatment. The manager, John was extremely rude and inhumane when he noticed I had an allergic poison ivy reaction and walked away from me. When I pointed out his poor bed side manners he said he had a 6 year old son and needs to protect him. I didn't get the help I needed. read more

I have been in this store a few times for technical help with my phone. They are excellent.

I just switched from consumer cellular which had terrible service and they locked my phones when I canceled my service. BUT Verizon isn't much better. I cancelled my internet service with Verizon and paid my bill in full. I was told that I had a credit because I had paid for a full month. Well a day ago I received another bill from Verizon and they added more charges to my account even though I cancelled my account. I contacted Verizon and they couldn't explain the additional charges. Also I only had internet service my bill was the same every month but they doubled my bill for the first month without explanation. TOTAL RIPOFF read more

I waited 1:45 today at the Verizon store with only one person in front of me. I needed a new device, I was in the store for more than a additional 30 minutes and was given nothing but bad advise on a simple upgrade. No idea what they are doing, just lost another customer with 3 active phones. Two other people left at separate times before me and the manager couldn't care less when told they would not be back. Went into the store to upgrade my tablet. I had found one online that seemed perfect. All went well. I was able to purchase the tablet. it wasn't until I got home and noticed instead of upgrading my tablet the representative added a line to my plan. Which didn't make sense considering I told him it was to upgrade my tablet that is already on my account. read more

Visiting from California staying somewhere without wifi. Made a trip to the Verizon Store and stood in line to purchase a Jetpack/Hotspot When I got back to where I was staying not only did the Jetpack not work the hotspot on my phone no longer worked my ability to connect to wifi had been turned off by Verizon. I went back to the Verizon store and was met at the door and put on the waiting list. I explained that I had already stood in line when I made the purchase that it did not seem fair to make me stand in line a second time to fix their error. The store manager that was not busy refused to help me, told me to stand in line or leave the store. No apology for their error of disconnecting my phone hotspot, no apology for not connecting the Jetpack. No apology for the inconvenience of having to make a second trip to correct their error. read more

Wish I read the Yelp reviews to see what I was in for. That way I could have kept expectations lower. The Enfield Verizon has bounced around from plaza to plaza, but I first went to this one on Hazard Ave a few months ago to upgrade my phone. The customer service was fine, nothing special. I usually buy my iphone accessories on Amazon, but the rep had really good things to say about a certain screen protector/shield so I bought it. Keep in mind that I have owned a smart phone for almost 10 years and have never had to actually replace a screen protector... until yesterday... About 1 month into owning my phone the screen protector cracked. I have no idea what the inciting event was. I was out to dinner, looked at my phone, and noticed several cracks in the shield. I went to this place yesterday to replace it, and one of the reps replaced it. I didn't have to wait too long, but the man who helped me wasn't particularly nice. The replacement shield cost $35 and I left... ... However, by that same night, I noticed THIS screen protector had also been damaged along the edge. It couldn't have been on my phone for more than 5 hours. I went back the following day and immediately when I walked in I saw the same rep who sold me the one yesterday. He didn't smile or acknowledge my presence, I basically explained the situation to him. He was immediately skeptical, looked at me over his glasses and basically just asked me what I did to cause this. I tried to explain it wasn't my fault. He seemed extremely annoyed at me inconveniencing him with my problem. In the off chance he's just super socially awkward I won't print his name, but suffice it to say he wasn't nice about it, not apologetic, and did not acknowledge that there's a possibility the product is just crap. He did replace my protector with a completely different brand and I got to use store credit for the terrible one I bought the day before. I'm giving this place one extra star because one employee, Nigel, was actually very nice, courteous, and helpful. So if you have to go to this Verizon store, basically just ask to have him. I would take a drive to one further away to avoid the rest of the customer service reps. read more

16 Hazard Ave, Enfield CT 06082 Hey at the store today to purchase another phone. Spent $1,400 for two iPhone 6s last month. Learned of problem with that sales transaction that occurred then. Brought it to the attention of the floor manager working at 4:OO today. Can you say condescending!! I pointed out the mistake in the processing of the original order and insurance for the iPhones. The manager could care less. It was like it was a big waste of her time. In fact, she suggested if I didn't like the service, referencing the original oversight, that I shop somewhere else to ensure better reliability. No crazy or irrational behavior on the part of the customer. I Just pointed out the fact if the iPhone with no insurance was damaged, what would they have done. No we're sorry, let's see what the problem was etc. Basically she could care less. It seemed like I was wasting her time. She may be suffering from compassion fatigue or customer service indifference. I felt like I did something wrong. I decided to Tweet out the lack of customer service @Verizon. Probably an independent contractor for Verizon. It would explain some of the indifference. At least they've fixed the original problem, I think...since I've lost confidence in the business and their customer service. I hope she's not the owner. Training maybe???? Being older, maybe she's senior and has job security. I know you can't train a old dog new tricks. At least the dog will act happy and wag its tail. I just wanted the sales team to know in case sales go down. I had a good reaction to the last store manger who checked up on us before we left the store. On the other hand this manager went and hid and just was sending texts on her phone and could care less with my problem. She didn't even inquire if my issue had been resolved. So FYI Sales Rep Honia took care of us and I was appreciative of her concern and service. The manager made eye contact with us as we left the store. Still surprised at her indifference. Just wanted to buy a phone case, the useless guy at the door said I would have to wait my turn, I stated you don't have someone to just ring up accessory purchases? He started giving me this lame analogy about Shop Rite, I found the case ($60 in the store), searched for it on Amazon, got it for $25 w/ free shipping, I told him to take me of his waiting list on my way out the door. very rude, came in with some problems with my phone after talking to their chat service online... completely said the opposite of eachother. the rep at the store didn't even look at my phone or try to find any solutions just said my phone wasn't under warranty and that it wasn't his problem I should go to apple. your telling me that my phone overheating when it's charging, or losing battery instantly when I unplug it isn't your problem? very unimpressed with this sales rep. would not go back to this store, I'll drive the extra time to go to manchester to get respect. read more

I went to this Verizon store yesterday with a friend, she had some questions about upgrading her phone and her plan. We waited about 5-10 minutes for a very hostile employee to greet us. My friend stated she was interested in the iPhone 6S and she wanted to know her payment options/upgrade options. The woman insisted she get the iPhone 7. She said it was "basically the same phone". My friend wanted the 6S because of the headphone jack and because it was cheaper. The employee did not give us any information about plans, upgrades, etc. Did not answer my friend's questions about price differences between staying on her family plan or getting her own plan. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. We left very confused and frazzled. read more
