I had some questions and needed new cases for my phone and iPad. I was greeted at once and helped very quickly. The rep that I worked with was very helpful except for one incident. I asked about having a problem with my alarms on the phone. Now I have never had an issue of any kind with the actual software. And he looked at me like I was dumb and very snotty told me that Apple would have to help with that. How exactly would I have known that if I had never had an issue? Worst customer service I have experienced. My Internet service was set up with the wrong address, the great perks and prices the salesperson guaranteed didn't exist and the price was double. When I cancelled and returned equipment and phone, he took over transferring the data to my new device which he had no idea how to do because he hates Google, instead of letting me do it, didn't wait to confirm completion and factory reset the old phone causing me to lose more than half of the data. When I called the store to let them know how terrible Kenny's customer service was the manager Kyle claimed no responsibility, offered Geek squad as a solution and when I responded to his "going forward" answer there is no forward Verizon because they customer service is non-existent in the store he hung up on me. Prob had to return to holding up the counter with the other 5 sales people. If I ever had to recommend Verizon to anyone this is the last store I'd tell them to go to. If you can't set up services correctly, know how the products you are selling operate, and are more interested in getting the restocking fee and the customer lot of the way maybe you should look for a new line of work. The $50-thats for putting the phone in a box and returning it to Google not reselling it. That free phone with a 3 year contract and bad service or a better cheaper service but you buy that phone or bring your own they can't transfer previous data over are the only options they could have but didn't offer to keep a customer, it doesn't make switching to a new provider difficult. Sorry you lost your commission but I have a phone set up with data that's either missing or messed up and Geek squad or repair shop out of my pocket is your solution, maybe you should have started with a lemonade stand upgrading with cookies and sweetener first. Be cheaper for the customers who get unqualified sales people who lack skills and respect. read more

I went in there for helping the entire time. they acted like they were annoyed that I was there. I had to transfer my service from one line to another all within Verizon, but I had to goggle the customer service number. There was one employee that actually seemed genuinely helpful, but the manager pulled them away to do another phone call so I kept talking to the manager and he gave me so much attitude when I didn't understand the lingo he was using. read more

Extremely unimpressed by the fact that in the time that I got in there I had one person out of half a dozen asked me if I needed assistance which obviously I did when I started to look at phones and had someone that was there helping me the moment that she got distracted I was no longer a customer I was here to buy a phone now I'm leaving to give my daughter a new phone possibly for Christmas or her birthday not a good way to keep customers Verizon Then when I call the supposed LOCAL NUMBER I wait on hold after dealing with a computerized automated system with hearing issues or is that comprehensive issues! And now on hold for over 10 minutes still no actual human being what the heck! Why do I pay you people for this subpar service again! Frankly had to call back to get actual person after talking to a customer service rep in Texas and was again treated rudely by a female who frankly should not be allowed to represent any form of customer service in the least! I have never in my over three decades with Verizon been treated so poorly not once but twice by verified FARGO West Acres Verizon store employees just absolutely embarrassed for the owner and management of this store. I called and spoke to the gentleman who answered for the 45th Street fargo store which is an actual Verizon store not a retail outlet; the west acres store is also supposed to be one also-actually it is-my comment reflects on the behavior of the female on the phone and the blonde female customer service representative who walked away in the middle of my trying to purchase a phone for my kid! Amazed by how people have changed and the way they think they are entitled to be employed if you don't do the job you are hired to preform frankly I don't think you should have that job and if you are having a bad day then you need to acquire the skills to be a better employee who can separate their personal lives from their professional lives. I am genuinely confused how this store has such low ratings. I went in to Verizon on Black Friday with my grandma. Just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to Brian who helped us. He was absolutely hilarious and made my day. I am so happy I switched from AT&T to Verizon....literally paying the exact same I was paying at AT&T except now I have a new phone and unlimited service. Went in to get an upgrade at 10:55. Put on a waiting list with an estimate of 30 minutes and they would call when we got to top of list. Had food court lunch down the hall while we waited. Finished lunch and went to hang out in store. Still no notification and no one approached us for almost 25 min. Finally hubby went uP to someone to check and was told we missed our time and sometimes the notifiCation systEm didn't work. FInally received help at 12:10. Horrible CS! Go to 45th. read more

My parents drove up from down south specifically to give me my new phone for our plan and trade my old one in. They made it feel like we were an inconvenience for them, and when we walked out we were told they had my new phone activated. Took me quite a while to try and restore/download everything onto my new phone, and when it came for me to go to work, I realized that the reason nothing would work was because they didn't actually activate my new phone like they said they had. They didn't have me do any test calls or texts in the store, just told me it was fine and sent us on our way. By the time I wanted to go back, they were closed and Verizon in general was difficult to work with to finally get it activated. Go to a different Verizon. read more

I find it arrogant and disturbing that this Verizon store, and the website as well, won't answer my questions. At the store, my son had a Samsung with a broken screen. We pay $8/month, and have for years, for a warranty. The clerk told him he warranty had no value! What! Then why, tell me, are you charging me $8 a month? It's a rip off. On the website, I tried to contact an actual living person and there was no way I could find to do so. Then I thought I would see if I could use my 250,000+ points to reduce the cost of a phone, but when I tried to do so, I was simply returned to a different screen. When I tried to use these points to rent a car, I was told that I could use 300 (out of 250,000+) and still pay over $100/day to rent the car! This is BS, people. I'm seriously thinking of switching to another phone company. You should think seriously about doing the same. read more

It appears this store is only concerned about how much money they can make off of the customer who walks in the door. We will no longer use this store for any of our Verizon business. We too had a extended warranty and were told by the greeter that they would hard start our phone and wipe everything on it to check if the battery issue was being caused by something in or on the phone. She basically offered no help as to how we would retrieve everything they would supposedly back up and if we didn't have enough room on the cloud essentially that was our problem and data would be lost. Then she told us we would have to reinstall everything that was lost, all this just for a stupid battery, are you serious. The tip previous we wanted to upgrade all of our phones but were told it would cost $1000 dollars to do this unless they had a special or another program running at that time. We walked out of the store straight over to the Best Buy store and enrolled in the Verizon Edge program, which the Verizon store never mentioned once to us, and walked out with 3 top of the line phones. Oh I did have to pay $50 for an otter case that was it. I have never had the hassle or poor service that the West Acres Verizon store provided from any of satellite stores. Oh, here's one more issue. Let's give our name to the greeter and get in line and wait for one of the 3 salesman standing around talking to each other and not helping anyone. What a joke. read more
