The first part is about a visit to another store before we went to this one. This store is where you should go for all things Verizon. I had the opportunity to visit this store where I usually go for all verizon products and information. Today I had purchased a phone from the corporate store by Cypress lake fort myers. It was only because I was in that area. They are not helpful at all other than ringing up the phone. It was a big mistake We needed items for our phone so we went to the store we normally go to. I felt so bad that I didn't give the business to this store We met with Eddie and he was absolutely the best. He was so helpful and kind. We did purchase the other things we needed but he took time to hear what we had just experienced. I will never go to the corporate store by Cypress. This store in San Carlos is so professional and very knowledgeable. STAY AWAY!!! I went in October to add an iPad and a business lined. Was told if I switched to business service my bill would be overall cheaper. I agreed but they didn't port over all of my lines and was double charged. Went in and the lines were switched over but was charged again and promised a refund of $120 (never happened 3 months later) I was told my bill would be $305 and it is sitting at $600 for (Novemebr) which was promised to be adjusted. On 2/16/26 waited on by "Hans M," who sold me a $67 screen saver for apple iPhone 17. Told me the screen saver had a lifetime warranty. He put the screen saver on the phone, but gave me no box, no warranty and no receipt. When I asked for a receipt he said it would be emailed to me. Receiving NO receipt, I drove back to the store 2/18/26 and asked for a receipt and what I needed to register for the lifetime warranty. A helpful lady printed out my receipt and gave me the box which has the warranty registration information. She told me I could not register with PureGear for the lifetime warranty without the info on the box, which "Hans" never gave me. So even if he had emailed me the receipt, I couldn't have registered for the warranty. This is very poor salesmanship and I never should have had to drive another 30 minutes round trip to get the warranty registration information. I've never had this poor level of service from a Verizon store. Will not use this store again. read more

Verizon - Mobile Phones Near Me - Fort Myers, Florida

On Feb 24, 2016, I purchased a new Verizon LG -V10 from this store in Ft. Meyers, The Shoppes at Island Press. Michael W was my sales person. During the entire process he was great. He answered all my questions and was very helpful in my quest for a new phone. He was also friendly and knowledgeable. However, after getting the first bill of my new plan I was shocked. After assuring me several times of what my plan's pricing was, and what my first bill under this new plan would be, I find that he was not truthful in what he promised in this and several other issues. He told me that there would no additional charges and that my first bill would be the same as my subsequent monthly bills. That amount was $134.58 for two lines; this new one and my wife's current plan with Verizon. Being a Verizon customer for many, many years now, I am familiar with Verizon's process of prorating bills on a linear level. Therefore, I have learned never to get a new phone or go to a new plan unless it's the exact day of the month where my billing cycle ends/starts. However, this time my Galaxy S5 had stopped working and I was on vacation. I needed a new phone ASAP. It wasn't until I received that first bill and then contacted Verizon Wireless directly that I realized I had been bamboozled. That bill was for $201.14! Here is what a Customer Service Rep from Verizon Wireless did for me: 1. Since I was only 2 or 3 days into my cycle, Michael W said he would 'back-date' my new plan so that I would not be charged an additional amount for those few days. As it turns out, I was charged and extra $10.00 for 0.069 GB of data for those days. The friendly Verizon Wireless CS Rep on the phone immediately removed that from my bill saying that I should not have been 'nickeled and dimed" like that. 2. Another $10.62 for something called 'Asurion Total Mobile Protection' was on my bill. This is something I had never heard about, was never informed of, and certainly nothing I knowingly agreed to. Probably just another feather in Michael W's hat. The Verizon Wireless CS rep I called removed that from my plan. 3. Even the pricing of the plan he put me on was other than what I had been told by him. On my paperwork it says that my plan charges would be $134.58/month plus taxes and surcharges. The Verizon CS rep on the phone said that, in truth, the plan would have been over $171/month! (This pricing includes my wife's phone and Michael W included that phone in my quote.) 4. Michael W put me on a single plan with 3GB of data. Great! However, my wife's plan stayed at $60.00/month with her 2GB of data. When I called Verizon directly they were surprised so see that he didn't just put us down for a shared 3GB of data. (Our history clearly showed that we rarely ever went over 1 GB data per phone.) Seeing this, the wonderful Verizon CS rep on the phone just changed the plan so that we are now sharing the 3 GB data; saving me another $40.00/month. So that $170.00+/month bill that Michael W put me on is now $114.65/month for basically the same thing. I am always very thorough and clear with my communication and with the questions I ask. And I always listen to the answers very carefully. Many times, including in this case, I ask the same questions several times just to make sure of all of the terms. Michael W clearly lied to me. I have contacted Go Wireless corporate who assured me that they would forward this to the store I purchased the phone from. I have heard nothing back. read more

I even called back for clarification regarding my upcoming bill as well as recent texts from Verizon. She patiently explained how my rebate would be reflected in my upcoming bill. I too had no customer service there! I went in and they ordered what I thought was a 64G Iphone 6s+ and they ordered a 16G, I called and left message letting them know the error and they never called back. I called again and left message, again, no call back. Stopped in a couple days after it was to be delivered hoping they would have fixed the order. (Note, no call that it was there and ready to pick up). Instead I was accused of not calling them. What? Never accuse a customer of not doing something they said they did! Horrible man! There were handwritten notes on the phone box stating there was an error, so someone got my message(s). I asked if they could assure better customer service when they offered to order another (which should have happened automatically as soon as they knew they made a mistake). And instead I got an unprofessional, rude response - uncalled for and unbelievable! I too will NEVER enter that store again either!
