Hi! My mom and I went into the new location for this store and were immediately greeted with a smile and a "How can I help you?" The new store was very clean, put together and the employees were very helpful. I needed to get my phone upgraded as mine was very old and had questions about the new phone, the prices and just questions in general as one does when upgrading a phone. Judge was our helper in the store that day and we highly recommend asking for him when you stop into this store. He was not pushy and we could tell he was simply looking out for the best for us. He helped us upgrade our line to save money monthly, he was knowledgeable on every question we asked and even walked us through setting up auto-pay on a billing cycle that we wanted that we didn't know was an option. Let's just say it was a great experience and if you are looking for a Verizon store on Woodruff or in Greenville, we recommend this location and asking for Judge to help you. He will walk you through colors, find the best deal for you and be honest, something everyone needs. We will definitely be coming back to this store when needed. read more

As soon we walked in we were greeted with an attitude, when I asked for an upgrade to a new phone he cut us off by saying to what type of phone with a sarcastic attitude. And once I said to a newer iphone like the 17 again cut off with an attitude saying that they have to be order. Then I asked if it's just this store they don't have it or all the store and he said "I don't know, you will have to go look for it and go online and look for it yourself" again just being rude and with a attitude. This was the worst experience I've ever had in any store in my life. I'm disabled and unable to sit or stand for any length of time. First, I had to sit on the floor to wait in line to be served. It took 3 hrs to get my new phone. I was in a lot of pain so accidentally got signed up for a cellular watch. When I realized it and called to rectify the problem, I'm told I have to pay $50 to turn the watch back in. I explained what happened only to have the sales rep just repeat the same thing. read more

horrible horrible experience today! Had a 1pm appointment for follow up setup of new phone. Was met at the door by a young man who was BEYOND rude. Me: "can you help me set up my phone?" him: "for $29 dollars I will" me: "can you explain some of the features on my phone and make sure it was set up properly last night" him: 'for $29 dollars I will" Me: "can you help me understand some of the icons"? him: "It's the same stuff from your other phone. What don't you understand" At one point a female manager piped in to correct something he said about the other store's closing time, but she did NOT step in to help me although she could CLEARLY hear what was going on and hear both my frustration and his total disregard and what bordered on disgust that I had the nerve to be there, much less, ask him a question. Stay AWAY!!!! The fact that I am taking the time to leave a negative review should indicate to you how angry I am. read more

Just no. After spending over 7 hours over 3 visits to the retailer to get a new iphone set up, do I need to add anything more? How about how ridiculous the billing was set up? We switched back to AT&T as soon as we could. Do not recommend. The end. read more

This store location lacks customer service skills. They don't care that customers are walking in to buy things. I was ready to purchase and upgrade to the iPhone 15 plus today but honestly after being dismissed by the customer service representative and him running off and helping the customer who walked in behind us, we decided to leave and go to another location. We even waited by the new phones to see if he would come back and acknowledge us or if any of the other representatives would step up. I would not recommend this location at all. Good luck getting any of your questions answered or help with upgrading and purchasing a phone. read more

I walked in with a simple question, got rudely spoken to, no eye contact as one employee was talking on their personal phone about "soda addiction" and the other couldnt stop txting long enough to put their phone down. Worst Verizon store I have ever been in. Employees act like the customer is a bother because they were too busy doing nothing. Manager is like a ghost. I asked to speak with him/her and wouldn't even come out to talk with us. Horrible store. Will never go there again!! I hope Verizon corporate sees this and all the other reviews posted here. They don't really have any organization here, and a complete lack of management. I waited over 45 minutes with three people in front of me. Two people walked in after me, complaining about something, and were seen right away. Treated like royalty. I wouldn't waste to your time going here. Rude! and unpleasant. I went in to figure out why one of our new phones lacks basic sensitivity to typing. It turned out to be a protective glass screen (sold by verizon of course). The associate who helped us (Bill ) was rude, yelled at us "push, push, push.....and more push" pretty much treating one of us as if the white hair equals senility and lack of ability to think, hear or respond. We were able to get service only after I became real aggressive. In this location I have met mostly unprofessional, unpleasant individuals. The only reason to put a foot in this store is that it is close to Lowes and whole foods.... read more

Went to the store to pick up a sim card. Simple enough. Unfortunately, I was told I had to bring my new phone to the store before they would give me one. The problem is, if you call Verizon, they send you a card without seeing the phone. Makes no sense, and the company policy is inconsistent. It's the reason why I haven't stepped foot in this store in years, and why I won't ever again. Wasted trip, and bad feelings toward Verizon. read more

I purchased a MotoX , but was unable to customize it in the store - bummer! They weren't really sure what I was supposed to do to customize it at all. I was told to go to motox.com to customize it, and I could add the customizables myself. I went to motox.com, but there is nothing that tells me what to do besides to order a brand new phone!? I called the store, but they have to check into it. I'm waiting on the call back. I don't understand why this is difficult. You sell the phone in the store right next to a rainbow of colorful accessories to "personalize" the phone. But you can't actually personalize it in the store. This is confusing. Not good, Verizon. Amending this because I got my call back. The information the manager gave to the employee was incorrect. I cannot customize my phone at this point. Either I get the great deal they are advertising (the Edge program) OR I can customize. I cannot do both. Because I thought I would be customizing my phone, I chose a WHITE one. A choice I would have NEVER made otherwise. Why? Because they get filthy. Can I take it back? Not without paying a $35.00 restocking fee. Can I get a colored back to keep it from getting filthy? Nope. This is crazy. They have an entire WALL of the color choices and customizable options. You have the Edge discount front and center, but you do not tell your customers that they have to choose. I've been with Verizon for almost all of my cell phone using life, and I just totally got duped by them. I'll think of this every time I have to clean that white phone. The one I have to keep for 2 years or pay to restock. The one I wouldn't have chosen if I had been given all the facts to begin with. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for years. I have always been happy with the cell service, but always hated the process of upgrading my cell phone because the sales people talk you in circles. But I have never had such a bad experience and been lied to by a company like I was when I went to the Woodruff Road store on 5/16/15. First, they didn't have the Samsung S5 available in the store, so they said they would get one from another store and for me to come back in 45 minutes. I was fine with that. Here is where I have problems. 1) I was told I had an old plan and she would change my 4GB plan to 6GB for the same price. I questioned that, and she said it was just an old plan that wasn't available anymore. False. I went on the website and it is still available, but at a lower price. The 6GB plan IS the same price as what I was paying for the 4, but she made it sound like that plan wasn't available anymore, not that I could pay less for my current plan. 2) I was changing to their Edge plan (which I still don't understand very well), and she said accessories were included. She led me to the cases and I picked one out, and she said I also got a bluetooth headset and which color did I want. I had no interest in a headset, but if it's included who wouldn't take it? During the checkout process her tablet reset, so she had to start the process all over again, but the phone was already marked as "out of stock" so we had to wait while someone in the back got the computer to mark it as in stock and available to purchase. While we were waiting for that, the salesperson opened up and put on my phone the "included" screen protector and cell phone case. She even told me I could swap out the "included" car charger for an extra wall charger with a 6 ft cord since I already had a car charger. 3) Not only were these accessories NOT included, but she had me pay full price for them even though I should get a 20% discount on plans and accessories through my employer discount. I ended up paying more than I would have if I had purchased the phone outright even before the rebate. I called and a manager said he would let me return the accessories, even though they've been opened, which I will believe when I see it. read more
