Took me months and many phone calls to Verizon jeadquarters to straighten out the mess that the Lenox, MA Cellular Sales screwed up, from paperwork to the contract and the price of the brand new phone. Full disclosure, two Verizon employees a year plus ago literally saved my life. Physicians at the BMC ER & ICU said I would have arrived in a body bag had they not called 911. Yesterday, I spent an hour yesterday with a staffer who helped me get my phone and notebook fully functional. Kudos. Polite, supportive, and encouraging. read more

I highly recommend this location after visiting the lackluster Verizon store in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where the employees just don't provide the best customer service and don't make you feel welcome. Upon entry we were kindly greeted, provided excellent customer service, our questions were answered successfully and completely, and we were treated to free goodies, snacks, and beverages while we waited. I would like to highlight Todd for his excellent knowledge, tech savvy, customer service, friendliness and making our cell phone service startup a pleasant experience throughout the few hours it took to get us set up at the store. The other employees were also very nice and personable and made us feel welcome as well. All in all Todd was a gem and would highly recommend anyone looking for a new cell service or phone with Verizon to stop by and see if he can help you with your cellphone needs... Usually these guys are great and very knowledgeable. Be careful when they talk you into a promotion as you may get burned in the end like I did. Lots of hours on the phone.... Months of paying on a buy one get one phone. Verizon not backing it up.... In the end I got a phone I never intended on buying as it should have been free, Verizon refunded only part of the cost. read more

Walked in on a Sunday morning to return a piece of expensive equipment which already had been credited at another store in Eastern Massachusetts. I had promised to return the piece of equipment as soon as I could. Intending to keep my word, explained the purpose of my visit three times to two different people. Pleasant individuals, apparently poorly trained in customer service by a rigid company Verizon with whom I will never again do business. Told them that if they did not want the expensive router, they could throw it out. I would not take it with me or throw it out. As I was getting into my car, one of the individuals came to the door to argue what I had already explained three times, terrible customer service. I drove away. read more

Went in at the end of May when my husband's phone got run over. Ordered a new SE with Andrew and said it would be in in two days with UPS 2-day, it took five. We go in to pick up and Andrew cleverly sneaks a screen protector on my husband's new phone when not only did we say we weren't interested, but I told him I had one at home and not to bother. It wasn't until he told me it was $40 that I nearly fell over... I got a three pack on Amazon for $3. We trade in my husband's old 8 for $55 and received no paper work of this transaction even though it was done at the time of picking up the new phone. I didn't realize this until I went through the paper work of when we first signed up with Verizon and traded phones in then as well. I call Verizon and they said they have no record of our trade being credited to our account, and they recommended I call the store. I call the store and speak with John who said Andrew wasn't in that day and that they only send out trades once a month and it would take several billing cycles to see the credit. I called a few hrs later and guess who picks up? ANDREW! Andrew said he overheard my conversation with John and that he wasn't in the morning - I called after lunch. Andrew also said it's weird that I didn't have any paper work and that the credit from the trade it should be almost immediate. He then said he'd get back to me before closing but I knew he wouldn't. Here's my takeaway: Andrew and John are liars Andrew tried to sneak a $40 screen protector onto his bottom line for the sale When we declined the screen protector, he "forgot" to report our trade so he'd still make the $ somehow. Shadiest place I've ever done business and I intend to take this to corporate. read more

My wife and I are from out of state and her phone stopped working. We called to see if they could help us and they gave us an appointment time to meet with them. The sales person was very helpful in explaining her screen was the problem and the phone was beyond help. She explained she was interested in the Google phone and got no push back to try and sell us something else. He was helpful in helping set her up with a Google 4, transferred her information and helped her learn tasks and other items for her phone. We would recommend them with no problem, especially being from another state and treated us like a local Verizon customer. read more
