Went to the Verizon Store today in North Adams, Ma. Nick helped us set up a new phone that a couple of days ago he help us deal with the insurance regarding a lost phone. He was very patient with us. My wife and I are both 79 years old and not the greatest with technology. We wish everyone was as professional, patient, and skilled at their job as Nick is. I give him a 6 star rating! read more

I went to the North Adams, MA store with an android phone that had been infected by all sorts of bad news apps that were trying to sell me all sorts of stuff I didn't need. These pop up windows were covering everything in my phone that I needed. My phone was completely non-functional. Jesse and Nick were wonderful. Jesse got all of those nasty, nonsense apps off my phone, while Nick set me up with an upgrade. I left there with a new phone that works, as well as new insights on the safe apps to use and how to access them. Have a unique account situation that I needed to go to the store to resolve - apparently. I Went in with the thought that I might be there a few hours. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable helpful understood my situation and I had the issue resolved in about 15 minutes. it was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had with Verizon or any tech store service. Stopped by tonight at 6:35pm. There were no posted hours on the door. However the website said it was open until 7pm. I can see a worker sitting at a desk, but the door was locked. I called and she got up and answered the phone. I asked if they were open and she said no, she had settled the register and they were closed. But she could schedule me an appointment tomorrow. All I was stopping by was for a cord for my phone to charge it so I told her I'd go to Walmart. What's the point of having store hours if you decide to close early because you settled the register? read more

I won't go to any other Verizon Store! The staff are very knowledgeable and patient. Not only have they saved me money on my monthly bill, but they always find an incredible promotion to fit my needs! The store manager also holds a weekly class to help teach people how to navigate their phones! What a blessing to those of us that maybe aren't exactly tech savvy! I would be lost without this place! I walked in hoping to pay a bill and close an account of my deceased father since customer service told me I had to in person. I was completely neutral and normal and she was nothing but dismissive and rude. She could've informed me that they aren't an actual verzion store without being a total see you next tuesday. read more

Big mistake if you think you can get honest sales or service at this Verizon dealer. I walked in their store looking for an internet hotspot. A company associate named Tracey assisted me. I asked repeatedly and VERY explicitly if they could offer a hotspot that was un-throttled and capable of internet service for multiple devices. Tracy repeatedly assured me that she could offer exactly what I was looking for. So I purchased what Tracy called a "JetPack" Three days later when it no longer worked due to throttling I was charged their traditional $35 dollar restocking fee plus yet to be determined other fees. This was clearly a case where the customer was deliberately mislead by their company's representative. I will next be contacting Verizon Corporate to ask them if this is the way they encourage their representatives to treat a decades long customer. read more

DO NOT TRUST THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS STORE! My wife got a new phone here. She was repeatedly assured by staff that all of here photos were backed up to iCloud. After wiping her old phone, they realized that all of her photos from 2015-2018 were never backed up. We permanently lost those photos. read more

The customer service at this store could not be worse. When we were looking to buy our daughter a phone the day before Thanksgiving we told them repeatedly that she lives out of town and the phone would have to be delivered by Saturday. They insisted that would be no problem. When I asked if we could pay for Saturday delivery they said they get deliveries all the time on Saturdays. They did not enter the order for UPS Saturday delivery. Instead it shipped UPS Ground and arrived on Monday. We agreed to have it shipped to her. When I requested a UPS tracking number they said they could not do that, which is incorrect. When I explained that every UPS package has a tracking number the clerk got snarky and said " well I don't work for UPS". When the phone arrived and she took it to her local Verizon store to activate it, the store was shocked to find a lock on the activation. Worse, it also came with a note on the account that she needed to bring it to the North Adams store for activation! This is after we told the North Adams store repeatedly that she lived in the Boston area and if the phone didn't arrive on time she would have to activate it locally. It gets worse. My daughter called the North Adams store to unlock whatever hold they put on the phone. Their response was " you're going to have to wait because I'm busy"!! At her local store they were floored by that response and they said they had never seen a phone that was locked before. They couldn't believe the attitude either. Between dealing with the North Adams store and the VERY helpful folks at the local store it took an hour and a half to activate the phone. My family will never do business with the North Adams store again and I strongly suggest you don't either read more

I just went to this location this week and have to say that I was shocked to read some of the negative reviews. This is the Verizon store I frequent for most of my tech and family cell phone needs. The staff is 5 star, friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful. I have been several times and each time I have been greeted with a smile and great attitudes. The manager Bonnie was patient and thorough with me. She has walked through the process of backing up my phone and syncing my devices (a year ago I had no idea what that meant lol). She walked me through every step of the way, fielded my (many, many) questions, knew the devices well and taught me how to do this in the future and made sure I understood. My next visit Chris helped me, his knowledge of technology was impressive and he was able to help me with choosing a gift for my son. They have a great team, Brett has helped me when comparing devices he is honest and knowledgeable and helped me weigh the pros and cons of different phone options. It really helped us choose the right phone and plan for our family. Excellent people, service and products! read more

Bought 2 items. I returned to pick up my watch. The young lady working didn't know how to process the sale, she called the manager, who walked her through the process. I arrived home followed all instruction and found the watch to not be functioning correctly. I returned to the store only to be told that the products were apple and they as a Verizon store had nothing to do with it. I told her to take the product back. She became very emotionally unstable and began raising her voice telling me "well, your going to pay the restocking fee" to which I replied no I'm not, I just picked this up. She became increasingly emotional, told me that it was "user error" and told me to leave and began threatening me. I left the store, found a number for Verizon support and called. I was told by Verizon that the associate did not activate the watch. This associate is incompetent., psychologically unstable and should not be working with people. read more

Recently I received very poor customer service from this location. I visited the store to return a defective Samsung Note 6, the ones that have the possibility of exploding when you charge them. We received an e-mail from Samsung saying that we could return the explosive phone to the point of purchase. In full disclosure, the phone's case was cracked. When we tried to return it, as per Samsung's e-mail, the store manager rudely told me that she could not accept it as the phone was cracked. Now, the phone being cracked has nothing to do with the issue about it exploding when you plug it in. I've contacted Samsung to complain and receive my refund, which they are currently me with, and I will contact Verizon to complain to them as well. I would strongly recommend that you not do business with this retailer, as they do not value their customers. read more

I went to this store completely clueless because I was switching from an iPhone to an Android for work purposes. I was helped by Bonnie and I couldn't be more grateful! She was very knowledgeable about all of the products and answered my numerous questions to help me choose the best phone. She made me aware of the promotions going on and was patient with me. Her friendly yet professional approach helped me feel less overwhelmed. I plan on going back with my husband to switch him over too!! Great service and a well run store!! read more
