This is the very worst mobil phone store ever. I just switched to T Mobil and called the store to find out how to pay them a final bill. I was hung up after expressing a little frustration at how difficult it was to pay THEM lots of money, I've spent ten years being price gouged by Verizon and treated rudely time after time in this one outlet. We were helped by Beth, a knowledgeable, patient, respectful and kind young woman. My son and daughter-in-law, both of whom have learning disabilities and are confused my technology (as am I) went in with a bit of an emergency as my son's phone was locked and the solution was quite complex. (Long story.). My son put me on speaker (I was in Delaware competing in a racing championship and time was short) and together we worked with her to solve the problem. She then patently instructed my son in how to use his hotspot which he hadn't understood before. She is an angel and we are grateful to her! read more

Recently stopped in to inquire about my wife upgrading her phone, and we were greeted and helped immediately. We had inquired about the availability of a particular phone, they checked the inventory and had only one available in stock, but they however were extremely helpful in searching other locations to see what might have been available. Despite being unable to find one; they did however go the extra mile to special order one for us and have it arranged to be shipped to the store for free pick up. Even told us that they would be more than happy to give us a courtesy call when it arrived. No one was pushy in regards to trying and up-sell us on additional equipment or products. Beware. After our phone was stolen, we came to connect the idential model replacement iPhone to our existing Verizon plan. We were offered a replacement monthly plan that would be less expensive each month than our existing plan. We were satisfied with our existing plan and skeptical, so we asked Adrian, repeatedly, if there was a catch of some kind. He assured us that there was not. Later we found out that Hot Spot is not included in the new plan and that our "loyalty" status with Verizon, which has substantial financial benefits, was wiped out by the change in service plans. Neither was disclosed to us by Adrian--despite our repeated questioning. Worse, when we called the location to ask them to restore the Plan, they said they could not without our returning to the location, and even then, the old plan "no longer exists." We called corporate Verizon, and after 2 hours on the phone, they were able to restore the original plan. They said the store violated their franchise agreement by not disclosing to us that the new plan provided less service, and that the franchise earns a commisison after time they sell a new plan. This was not our first experience of the store's rank dishonesty. We were urged to switch plans a few years ago, told the bill would be lower, and it came in much higher. We were told that the new model phone required an expensive charger, and that that it was not compatible with earlier iphone chargers that we owned. Both entirely untrue. Plainly this store operates with a culture of deceit. For shame. Avoid it. Try Catskill or another location where people are decent and honorable. Life is short. read more

My phone was just not working, calling 911, sending out sos, just wouldn't respond any touch, hellish day, the young man, whose name I didn't get, wasn't sure what the problem was at all, but stuck with it and got me back up and running. Avoid this store, whatever you do. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I recently called in an order for a new phone. I had some issues, so I returned to phone to the store. The store help and manager told me they could help, but would charge me a fee. So, I called Verizon's corp number back, and they set me up. They said I need to return the phones to the store and then I would get te new phones. So, I returned the phones to the store, and the same store help actually saw an opportunity to screwed us over. They cancelled all services provided over the phone when they returned the phones, and told me the order never processed through over the phone, but they could help. Well, in fact, they cancelled a really great promotional plan I had received over the phone that could not be recreated. And, the wait time for my new phone is now weeks longer. This store ruined Verizon for me. I suggest everyone avoids this place because they are incompetent and just in it for their own numbers. Not cool. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. The nastiest customer service I've ever dealt with. I'd been treated better at McDonalds. People are constantly protesting outside of it, that should be a solid sign. The woman helping me rudely attempted to trick me into upgrading my plan which would have ended up costing hundreds more. She claimed there was no way around this. I walked out and went to a store in Massachusetts where I was informed I had MANY other options, all cheaper than the one that was almost forced upon me at the Hudson store. This place is the worst. horrible experience ever. I went in to get an iPad and you guys don't have any in the stores when online it says you did. So I waited there for nearly 45 minutes to be told they didn't have any in stock, and how they could get me it through ordering it and coming in the mail to my house. I still do not have tracking info so I called Verizon, and they cannot do anything since I went into the store WHICH IS THE SAME COMPANY, and have to GO BACK TO THE STORE to figure out why you messed up my entire Saturday, and now Monday. This is BULL. I just want an iPad. So basically they fake placed an order since it's not in the system, and there is NO TRACKING info or shipping info. I pity the manager when I walk back in there with flames coming out of my ears. At least you could let me wear some lipstick to look pretty for the next time you F*** ME. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before changing to Verizon ... after thirteen years with T-Mobile. I live in an area where there aren't any better options. Sold a shoddy device -- failed SIM card, multiple dropped calls in high service areas, canny reception on the other side and shrill sounds heard by those called -- and in trying to swap it in within the 14 day "grace" period, I am now stuck in a loop of terrible customer support, ping ponging between corporate support channels and incompetence at the store. When I stumped the manager with a technical question, he danced around the original explanation such that it would land me in the same spot. Then, in between a back up, the store closed, so they sent me home, insisting I wouldn't have to start over. Guess what? I had to start over. Don't go here. Better yet, don't go with Verizon if you have a better option. read more

I have NEVER been to a more unhelpful place than this Verizon store. My IPhone button was broken, and they told me that there was nothing they could do about it. But I was ready for an upgrade in April. It's April now, and so I went back and was told, no, it is not ready for upgrade until May. And I doubt that.
