Unfortunately, I'm having to leave another review, and this one is far more serious than my previous experience. I visited the Verizon store on 6th Street in Downtown Los Angeles to purchase a new phone. During the transaction, I handed my credit card to an employee, who then took it to the back of the store, completely out of my sight. Looking back, that should have been a major red flag. Shortly afterward, fraudulent charges appeared on that same credit card, forcing me to cancel it. But the situation became even more concerning when my family discovered that two brand-new iPhones had been purchased on our Verizon account without our authorization. We immediately contacted Verizon's Fraud Department, canceled the orders, changed account PINs, updated passwords, and took additional steps to secure our information. I cannot say with certainty who was responsible, but the timing is extremely concerning. What I do know is that unauthorized purchases were made on our Verizon account, and we were left dealing with the fallout. Customers should never have to worry about their payment information being taken out of sight or about unauthorized devices being ordered on their accounts. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage customers to closely monitor their Verizon accounts, review all transactions, and be cautious about sharing sensitive information. This was an incredibly stressful situation that resulted in hours of dealing with fraud prevention, account security, and financial institutions. read more

I had a great experience at the Verizon Wireless store. Lafay provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me. He assisted me with applying for the Verizon Visa Card and also helped me get a $50 coupon toward an accessory for my new Samsung S26 Ultra. Avoid this Verizon/Victra location at all costs. I went in to pick up a phone I already ordered online and told the rep up front that I was in a hurry. Instead of being efficient, they took their time and then rushed me at the end, which now feels intentional. I was misled about pricing. I was told my monthly cost would only be $7.50 per device line and I specifically asked if there were any other fees. I was told no. That was false. After checking my bill, I discovered additional charges that nearly doubled the cost, including activation fees and "Setup & Go" charges for services that were never provided. No one helped me set anything up, no data was transferred, and I explicitly asked for a blank device. When I questioned the charges, I was forced to spend hours on the phone with Verizon to undo the damage. I returned the iPad, fought a restocking fee, and am still dealing with billing cleanup because of this store's misrepresentation. This was a high-pressure, misleading sales experience, not an honest transaction. If you value transparency, go to a corporate Verizon store and avoid this location entirely. (1 star) read more

It's sad how they have to post fake reviews and all 3 of the fake reviews were posted on the same day giving this place 5 stars this is one of the worst Verizon stores I've ever been too. This place opens at 9 I showed up at 10:10 and they wouldn't let me in until 10:20 stating that they were not open. Then when they do let me in he asks me to have a seat and I'm sitting at a chair for 20 mins while the guy is just sitting at his computer staring at the wall. In the end I never got assisted so I just left. This place is terrible and don't believe the fake reviews. Came here on the morning 2/10/24 at 10:20am , store was completely closed, bar type gates were all locked up lights off, but the business says open at 10:00am. That was my first issue. Service started out nice, until it wasn't. My fiancé was picking up oh iPhone 15 Pro that we pre ordered & when I get there, they're throwing all these add ons my way & I asked does my phone come with a charger cable or just the box and he said "no it doesn't come with anything you have to buy separately". Cool. Only to find out my phone DID come with the cable so I was charged $35 unnecessarily. Next issue, I got a phone case, come to find out when I get to work and get ready to set my phone up in her case... THEY GAVE ME THE 15 PRO MAX case .. completely different size. So ANOTHER $57 unnecessarily charged. A total of $90 over charging me when I should've paid $30 an ended up paying $125 because they want to make a sale and not know their products. Mind you, I had a trainee (Julian T AND the Store Manager (Adrian was his name I believe) helping me start to finish so this type of issues shouldn't have happened at all. On top of that I have to come back to get my money back, pay more parking because I paid $10 the first time now I have to pay again just to get this handled. Do not go here because clearly whether a traineee or manager is helping you, it still didn't turn out right. Shame on y'all for stealing this kind of money. $90 of over charging someone because you don't know your products??? Crazy. Also, open the store on time not 25 min after it says you should be open. ALSO DONT PAY WITH CASH! They don't give you your cash back if you paid with cash because they don't keep any cash in store they only deposit any cash they get so if you paid in cash you're outta luck they'll only give you store credit.. this place shouldn't be open and operating at all. read more

I initially came into to reactivate my service since I lost it on my old phone, however the store representative told me that there would be a $40 fee to do this. The first store I went to to activate my new phone was a different Verizon location and they told me that there should not be a fee to complete this service. They suggest I could pay in store, so I go to the nearest store in DTLA. The store manager tells me I am not eligible for an upgrade. And that it will be impossible to get a phone by Christmas and the 800 number person I talked to is wrong???? FALSE. I got my new phone yesterday. Search and learn before you buy a new phone or signing for service. There are benefits you will not be told about if you will not be aware of. The store is nice, big, and love the design. The service could be better. I think that they need to let the client know all the options before deciding which plan or offer will be the right one. People are nice.
