I was visiting L.A. and my phone bit the dust. Luckily I was due for an upgrade so I went to this store, by virtue of it being the closest location to where I was working. The employees were fine though efficiency is not their strong suit. Eventually I was helped. I didn't want an iphone 5 because all the features I need are simpler so I opted for a 32 gig iphone 4. I was promised it was brand new. Fast forward, two weeks later, I've left L.A. and my iphone just dies. Without warning it turns off and never turns on again. I go to the Apple store and they take look and conclude they can't service the device because it doesn't have original apple parts. That very fact points to this store's first lie (that the phone was "brand new"). Calling the store, and speaking with Jeffrey, the manager, who was talking to me like I was on the ledge though I assured him I wasn't, he told me there was no possible way to issue a refund, only an exchange, and I would have to pay the difference if I wanted a brand new Iphone (of which there are none of the kind I'd initially ordered). No compensation or even an unofficial apology was offered. There was barely an acknowledgement about the inconvenience. Jeffrey tells me I can send it back and they'll send me a new phone but it's Friday so I should call back Monday because he wants to leave! They don't get ANY of my info and I'm left on my own. Not to mention it's hard to CALL when you don't have a PHONE. patiently wait through a phoneless weekend which is not the end of the world, just inconvenient. I call Monday and I am the one who requests they send me a return postage. It takes him hours to generate this slip and email it to me. And it's hours later after I've called back a good half dozen times that Jeffrey is not too busy to deal with me. Essentially, I kept getting pushed to the back of the line. When we are doing the "exchange" over the phone, Jeffrey reveals another lie. He says it's no problem to return the phone he just needs a return code. So, essentially, to do the "exchange," all he's doing is a return then another sales transaction. He lied to keep a customer -- albeit an incredibly dissatisfied one. Hours and a plethora of phone calls later, Jeffrey had still not sent me a tracking number for my new phone. Finally, I got it, and it was a UPS GROUND DELIVERY. They didn't even overnight it to me, which is another thing he had promised. I had been very patient with them because I know how tricky customer service is from the other side. I gave Jeffrey and the company he represents ample opportunity to do right by me. And they messed up at every turn. A week after I began trying to address this issue with that store, and I'm still phoneless!!!! Additionally, neither Jeffrey nor the 4G Wireless customer service has acknowledged my grievance. This place does dishonest business, with a flare for inefficiency. I could have been pacified so easily, with an apology or some sort of discount or a throw-in gift, just a token to acknowledge the inconvenience -- but I got NOTHING from them. Do yourself a favor, and as annoying as Verizon is, go directly through them for your upgrades -- at least they are official and have some notion of rules and regulations. Verizon has incompetent employees, it's facts at this point. Barely any support if you call or chat. I was here 2 weeks ago, guy set me up to order a new phone for my current line . Ok, fine. Somehow he opened a new line for the phone, sent my new SIM card to my dad in Florida, and ordered me the wrong color... So I call a week later when the wrong color phone is delivered, they sent me through customer service line. I was on the line for HOURS! I even went on chat support for help to see if it was faster, again 4 HOURS!! They kept bouncing me to another tech rep. JUST TO GET THE RIGHT COLOR DELIVERED!? Absurd, I was at work and having a mental breakdown bc of this incompetence and inconvenience. Finally, girl from this store called and had my correct color ordered. Verizon support, USELESS. Wasted my time. Its now been another week, I called asking where my phone I was having delivered was. MyVerizon app shows me it was delivered to the store, when I checked same day . I call store, The guy on the phone could not even be bothered to look up my tracking and tell me the phone was at the store. Mind you, after asking me my name, number, the phone I ordered...He told me "we will call you". It's been 4 days, my phone was delivered 4 days ago. Called again later that day, lady says "they are probably busy" ...I don't care how "busy" you are, 4 days!!!? What a joke! I have yet to get a call... fucking clowns! I never see an unmanageable crowd in this place, customer service is expected and Verizon and "authorized retailers" fail miserably to support customers. Also, I barely have service in parts of LA and my international plan almost never performs as expected ... This isn't the first time I've had trouble with Verizon service . Looks like Verizon is just another billion dollar monopoly company that has no investment in their employees or operations, it's just sales and profits they prioritize. I heard AT&T is slightly better. It's all a fucking scam, just grin and bare it cuz welcome to America. read more

I just have to say that I am MORE than impressed by the the people and the help in this wonderful Verizon wireless store. I actually work in the same building and yes there was an employee working there that was not very helpful but since he has been relocated from this store and is no longer working there, the store has been so busy and everyone is unbelievably friendly and like I said more than helpful. Kristina, Sabrina, Mia, and Juan are the AMAZING people that truly care about every single person that walks through the doors of that store! I just have to say KRISTINA worked above and beyond the call of duty to personally help me and I can't Thank her enough for the detail she paid so much attention to. I could go on and into more detail but basically I know if I ever need any help or simply forget my charger, they would be more than happy to help. One of thee best experiences I have ever had at a Verizon location. The staff was highly professional and extremely knowledgeable about phones . They definitely know how to treat a Veteran and made sure I was well taken care of . The manager of the store forgot her name but it starts with a M. She is the best manger Verizon has , I can tell you now when I walked into the store I thought I would be walking out with no phone and depressed. She took care of my phone issues and helped answer any questions I had and followed up with me after she took care of me in store . Everyone in that store deserves a raise , if you have Verizon and are in DTLA, do yourself a favor and go here for all anything Verizon related. Victra Verizon store very friendly the sales rep there brought different devices to show me like a hum service for my car which I loved all these years with Verizon and I didn't know I could use this amazing device for my car I was very impressed to know I can locate my car directly from my phone that is amazing, anyhow I appreciate the time the sales rep invested I was able to learn new products plus I got my phone and accessories there I call that a one time shop! This place has always been there whenever I needed my phone charged (even though Im not even with Verizon!! Lmao) and for the first time I forgot my charging outlet and Lafay legit got one from a drawer and helped me out. He also helped me before another time! I will say the area this Verizon is in, DTLA, is scary especially at night and I use the bus to go home because I work 2 hours away from my home.
