I recently cancelled all of my Verizon services, Wireless and Fios due to overpricing. I was sent to this store by the Verizon representative who processed my cancellation to return the Fios equipment because it is a "Corporate Store". When I got there before I even opened my mouth, I guess they saw the equipment in the bag. A little bug eyed Manager said we do not take it here "this is a wireless store". He would not look at the email from Verizon with the return instructions and locations. I was very upset and may have said a couple of words i should not have. He threatened to call the cops on me if I did not leave. This is a terrible store with terrible customer service and a inadequate Manager. If you dont believe me look at all of the "1" rated reviews. Went in to have my phone fixed since I wasn't get sms messages. Very nice and changed SIM card. Unfortunately that wasn't the fix, and I was told to go home and call tier 2 tech support because the problem was "somewhere in the sky" Tier tech support unable to help and now I just have to go to a different Verizon store? The craziest part was that they wanted to blame Apple but had no number or way for me to fix it with them. Whatever happened to if you can't fix the problem, you support with a working device ? I also would think tech support would want to problem solve and figure it out instead of sending me home. But now can have people see my texts but I can't see theirs. We went to the store with a brand new defective iPhone 16 pro and were told to contact customer service for help. While in the store they helped me get my old phone working again so I could call customer service, since it was closing time they shut the gates while I was in the store. Again, as I'm in the store they shut the big metal gates that come down, while I'm in the store receiving help. This is beyond unprofessional. After getting home and going through the virtual assistant and struggling to get a real person on the phone I was told the phone is defective and needs a return exchange at the exact corporate store I was at earlier. So a process that could have been handled in ten minutes will now take me days to complete. Thank you to the worst customer service I have ever had. read more

Long story short, we paid for a new phone set up but they couldn't complete it for us in the store. After attempting to do it on our own at home (without being refunded for paying for the service), the actual phone service didn't transfer to the new phone. When you called, it would go straight to voicemail. We then went back to this store to ask for help only to be told they were closing an hour early but would still be open for an hour. After turning us away, we had to call directly to a Verizon call center for help. The store has rude staff that are not helpful at all. read more

I've had a pretty good experience at this location. Sometimes service can be slow when they're crowded, but all in all it's been pretty good. Check in is pretty quick, and as evidenced by the photo, they saw me within five minutes of entering the store. Good selection and pretty helpful associates. I know some of you have had more trying experiences, but so far for me, I've had all questions answered and changes to my account were handled well. read more

I saw another one of "those ads" from Verizon - Get a new iPhone 12 on us, Bring your old phone in any shape ..., Best plans, etc. etc. Once again, I fell for it and drove to the nearest Verizon store. Here are the FACTS: 1) there are No free phones 2) they do not accept trade-in of any old phones and lastly, 3) their prices are unreal and out of this world. Here is why: I am currently paying $65.00/month for two phone and 10GB of data with another carrier .Verizon store staff just told me the same will be $190.00/month!!!! Can you believe that? No matter how good their "alleged " network is! They can't ask 3 time the amount/month for the same two phones (my own phone) and call it their "Best package" Give me a break! read more

If the 1-800 number wasn't so amazing, I would have changed providers! So I walked in and was greeted by a man. I showed him my phone. It's broken. It'll still turn on but the screen is completely shattered. He said someone will be right with me. The young Indian man (wasn't wearing a name tag) came on over to my husband and I and right from our initial greet he was irritated. Sorry man for seeking assistance at your place of work.... Anyways, I explained that I have insurance and that I AM eligible for an upgrade. He looked up my account and said "well you need to pay your bill first". Alright I know that but I want to know what can you do to help me. I went to the kiosk and paid my bill. He disappeared. Finally after 15 minutes of standing around he came back and asked me what I wanted. I want the iPhone 11. So he went out back and brought out the phone, scanned it and said "that'll be $112.00 today and $84 a month." I knew that wasn't right because before I dropped my phone, I was on the app and it said get the new iPhone for $38 a month..... I asked what the $112 was for and be said "taxes and stuff". I left very upset because he didn't take in to account that I do have an upgrade. So last night I called the 1-800 number to see if my contract was up so I can leave Verizon and finally I got answers. I told the lady about my I store experience. I told her I was confused what an upgrade actually was seeing that it's so expensive to leave the store with a phone. She told me that those numbers were not correct. It should only be $48 for the upgrade fee and it's actually $31 a month. She told me he was trying to get commission out of me!!!!!! That's is ridiculous! So I'm on day 3 with no phone waiting for mine to come in the mail... it's upsetting that I wasn't able to leave with a phone. Amber Brown (gen. mgr) is OUTSTANDING. I brought in a 4G mobile device that needed to be fully unlocked AFTER I'd terminated Verizon service, which is not easy to do. Amber didn't know me from Adam, she wasn't going to be able to sell me anything that day, and she still was cheery, prompt, and just great to talk to. She fixed my problem (had to eventually OEM unlock the phone) and you could tell she really enjoys being a manager and is loved by her staff. I'd love to work w/ more ppl like Amber and wish her and her team the best! BTW we are still Verizon FIOS customers and I'd seriously consider Verizon for mobile service in the future if the plans weren't so darned expensive -- the $20 smartphone access fee kills any deal, we're using Mint Mobile MVNO for both our unlocked Verizon phones. read more

It's funny that Chris' experience is spot on to what mine have been at this location. I've been here a number of times for different upgrades and the like and not once have I left even remotely satisfied with the service at this store. The women that I've encountered here (I'll spare their names), have been on all occasions unsympathetic, unhelpful, and often downright rude. On one experience, the woman gave me serious attitude that I didn't have interest in buying all the unnecessary accessories that come with the phone, on another trip the woman 'helping' me gave me zero information about the phone, it's accessories, or hardly anything else for that matter. On every trip in I've had to jump through multiple hoops just to buy the stupid phone because I'm on a family plan, even though I've already gone through the whole authenticating process multiple times and have had the owner of the plan send in copies of all required documents etc. Very frustrating to say the least. read more

I was on a project in the area in Camp Hill PA and I chose Verizon FIOS Internet. Verizon still operates/services/supports FIOS at that time 2016 though 2017. I had fantastic bandwidth and no outages. The service people showed up on time and kept me posted when exactly would arrive. When I cancelled it was no big deal, they were very pleasant and NO billing surprises!!! They were friendly and definitely did a first class installation! Is it more expensive than the competition, probably, but it is fantastic Internet service. Hopefully Verizon won't sell this operation to Frontier Communications which is a horrible company at best. Read my review of Frontier Communications to find out how they are doing in 2018/2019... As long as FIOS is controlled and run by Verizon I don't think you can get better service and a reasonable price. read more

Horrible. Tried to add FIOS after being a wireless customer for over 6 years. Disconnected after being on hold OVER 10 minutes when I'm trying to GIVE THEM BUSINESS. They deserve to go bankrupt for this alone. They have a $39.99 package that they trash as soon as you call to reveal it isn't worth anything. Stay away from this sham of a corporation. I absolutely hate having to go to this store. The customer service reps are always rude & act like it's a bother for them to assist you. I received the same treatment today. The rep was either sick or hungover. It was clear that I was a bother. My situation was complicated, she only half listened to the details on what had happened. She called 611 for assistance, which I could've done. There was a specific reason I was at the store. I finally just left. I signed up for a business plan last year which saved me money, I discussed the need to add a second number for another Representative was I was starting as well as adding additional phone lines to my plan the business sales guy Garrett was great met both of his managers all assured me they were there to help me with my business needs. Well that was pretty much the last I've heard from them. I e emailed multiple times trying to get another number for my new business, no response. They were aware that in February I would be adding addition lines multiple emails and again no response. Why do you make all these promises and fail to follow through? I assume ATT will be happy to have my business. You would think three new lines, a new number and electronic answering service would cause a response. The last time. Wish I could give it zero stars. If AT&T signal service didn't suck around my workplace I would have switched by now. Went in because the door on my LifeProof nüüd case which covers the charge port broke. (Case really isn't waterproof with a half inch opening on the bottom.) This is the 3rd time it has happened and My first desire was to get a different case, but i would settle for a replacement. The first time it was handled at the York location (next to my work) and the second at the old location of this store by Giant (where i bought the case to begin with). EVERY time it has taken forever to be waited on while technicians are standing around idle or chatting amongst themselves. This time i had to walk around the store 3x, past multiple employees chatting, watching tv, busy on their phones... When i finally saw a customer walk away from a tech I immediately walked up to her and tried to explain my issue. the tech told me to contact the manufacturer that they couldn't help me, although i had receipts showing their store had handled it previously 2x previously. When i started to ask another question she rudely cut me off, told me she couldn't help me, shoved the case and box for it back at me and walked away mid conversation. Pissed I walked over to the display of cases thinking i would just upgrade to a new Mophie case ($100+) but stood there looking at new cases for another 5-10 minutes during which no one asked if i needed help. Could have been a sale if handled correctly, instead will be a sale for someone else, an eventual switching to another carrier (after some research) and a crappy review on Yelp. read more

Not informative at all,,, pushed Hum service on us and told us it was free with "our plan" didn't know about all the extra charges and the 3 rd line and number added to our account until I saw the bill and then it was too late to return product, Now they say i am stuck in a two year contract! We are seniors and not too teck savvy so we now being charged for an item we are not using. Called customer service and the manager at this store and no help, treated me like "sorry" cant do anything. So we are now looking at other providers , will Never go to or recommend Mechanicsburg Verizon or for that matter any Verizon to anyone.... poor service and high cost... we were just just a good sale for this people. read more

This store ticks me off every time I go in there for one of my phones. Service techs always in a bad mode. It's either they are siting there talking to one another or it's just they take their damm good old time. The sales people don't even know their own product that they are selling.! This Verizon Wireless location has terrible customer service. I went in to check on an upgrade. I waited for twenty minutes. When I was finally waited on, the clerk was not particularly helpful and seemed in a hurry. I tried coming back at a later time, but the woman who helped me was rude and also seemed in a hurry to get me out of the store instead of answering my questions.
