We came to this location about a week ago to finally upgrade my daughters phone. We had the pleasure of working with Justin. He took the time and was very thorough with our current verizon plan and any changes that could be an option to save us money because it was such an old plan. He did not rush us , answered all of our questions...super helpful!!! the store was pretty busy too. I have read not so good reviews with this location ...However, our experience was a great one! I'm big on giving credit when credit is do. We can always focus on the bad and nip pick just fine....But, very little mention the good. No, I can't speak for everyone but coming here and doin all of our adjustments with the new phone and our plan ....WE, we're happy customer all the way around and for future stuff we will continue to come to this Verizon location. Not helpful at all. Had multiple employees here, most of which I didn't even talk to, just glare or make sour faces at us the entire time. We came in happy and just asking for a simple service. Which the employee couldn't figure out how to do and we nicely said no problem and left. While my partner spoke the kid we were working with kid gave her a dirty look. So she took my old one. She said the phone was not in stock but would order me one and would email me as soon as it came in. I lost my phone and needed a replacement, thought it would be straightforward. I felt rushed through the whole process. I had just gotten my last phone 3 months ago before I lost it so I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money. I convinced myself I was going to go with the simpler version of the new iPhone and mentioned it twice when the employee went to go get the phone. He came out with the "pro" version and I asked how much more is that phone, being skeptical of getting the more expensive version. He mentioned it would just be a little bit more each month so whatever, I'll let it slide and got the nicer phone. So he hurries to ring me up and suggests I go look at phone cases, when I notice he has a screen protector with the phone I was about to buy. I ask him whoa how much is that? He says $60. I say no thanks I already have an extra protector from my last phone. Then I notice he has a fast charger new in a box too. Realizing now I'm being rung up for stuff I didn't even want, ask for, and wasn't told about, I tell him I don't need that either because I already have one. I wasn't going to post a review but I was looking at my phone information today and saw that my phone is under warranty and I didn't even know!! I was never asked if I wanted it and I wasn't told that my phone was covered. My phone screen cracked and I was close to spending over $100 to get it fixed. I felt rushed through the process and like they were trying to take advantage of me. Don't go to this store unless you know exactly what you want or they will try to upsell you. Saturday March 22nd at 6:15 pm. me and my mother came in to get her a new phone. The second we walked in before anything the blonde guy at the front checked his watch and looked at us and kind of rolled his eyes and said we close in 45 minutes. So we said we're sorry about that and he said he could help us after the next customer. Then a lady came out out of the back room and went straight to her phone and was talking to what seems to be a friend or boyfriend and ignored us as we sat there waiting. Then after another 15 minutes, the two employees whisper to each other and point at us and he let her know that we hadn't been helped yet as we sat there waiting. it was very weird the way they were secretly talking about us. Then she came and helped us and was nice about it, but said that she couldn't help us further with logging my mom into her phone because they were about to close which is fine, but she was pretty rude about it. so we sat there and got her logged in on her own while all four employees waited at the front door, dogging us and giving us the most dirty looks. And as we finally walked out, we said, thank you and none of them acknowledged it and decided to close the door very swiftly behind us and lock it immediately. Do your self a favor and ask about the activation fee. I was told by someone else that verizon reps lie and tell you they will waive it so I confirmed twice and both times they said it was waived. I got my first bill and the activation fee was on it. So disappointing that people can't be honest. Also make sure you go to a company store instead of an authorized dealer. The company store has much better service and inventory, This store is a company store. The authorized dealers look exactly like verizon company stores from the outside. You can look on their website to find company stores. If they had been honest about the activation fee I would have given 4 stars. read more

On February 22, 2022 at 12:00pm MST, the general manager at this N Eagle Rd corporate Verizon location overrode all Verizon account authentication measures and allowed someone to fraudulently port-out one of my phone numbers via a "Death Disconnect" procedure. The store manager attempted to send two text verification codes to my phone, did not receive a response, then proceeded to allow the identity thief access to my account even though the verification was unsuccessful. Additionally, the store manager allowed the identity thief access to my account even though they were unable to provide the account security PIN. Verizon Customer Service has verified that their store manager disregarded all security measures via a manual override and no PIN code or verification text was provided by the identify thief. The store manager allowed my phone number to fully "port out" of my account under the excuse that I am deceased. I am requesting that the district manager for this region of Verizon retail stores contact me directly and provide me with details as to what credentials the identify thief provided to compel the store manager to throw all caution to the wind. read more

Said we should see the promo kick in after 8 weeks. Now I see why they say that... after 16 weeks, we never saw our credit they promised us. After multiple day talking to the store and corporate, they refused to give us the credit, leaving us completely screwed with bills we never planned for. After visiting a Verizon store near Albertsons Stadium at which I was told I needed a new Sim card but they were out of them, I went to this Verizon outlet on Eagle in Meridian. David helped me change my Sim card and then analyzed my symptoms which were lack of connectivity on my GPS. This GPS disconnect issue caused me to drive over 100 miles out of my way on my vacation last week because the GPS dropped signal before my turn off. David checked my data availability for this month and found that I had already reached my maximum five gig plan. He said that Verizon drops your connection speed after you've reached your data plan maximum. I received no notification that I was either approaching or a gone over my data plan maximum! Thanks to David, I now know that connectivity issues should be checked out by first checking your Verizon account to see how much data you have left. read more

I went into the Meridian Verizon store on Eagle road at 3pm on Sunday to purchase a new phone for my son. There were two employees not helping anyone, most likely they were waiting for late appointments. I was told by the check in person that I could wait, but there was no guarantee that I would be helped because the store closes at four. So they passed up a cash sale for a phone because of not wanting to possibly work after 4pm? Is the franchise owner aware of these policies? That's poor business ethics in my book. They won't let anyone in to shop. So I waited and waited...months.... finally they let people in to shop. I asked for the newest iPhone to compare with other iPhones they offered. do you know the guy never told me that the 12 was about to come out and sold me an 11? now i have to wait at least 2 years for the newest iPhone in order to save enough money to purchase. Very aggressive "greeters" once you get to the door, not even the door. The guy did not want me on one part of the sidewalk but could speak to me only when I was standing on a certain part of the sidewalk. Mind you we were the only ones there. We have been great Verizon customers for years. We have used this store, including post Covid in January buying a new watch. I checked the website to see updated Covid policies and there was nothing that indicated an appointment was needed. Upon arrival there was a guy in the parking lot screaming about masks and how they wouldn't let him in because he didn't have a mask. Upon trying to go in the sales representative came out and told us we couldn't go in. I don't know if he was rude because the guy was yelling, but he was very unkind. The situation then escalated quickly. He became very aggressive and rude. He told us he had no appointments available. I tried to explain we have traveled two hours. He then raised his voice and told me they had no employees. I asked for the store number to make a complaint. He then yelled at me. Went looking for a new phone he was telling me about tablets and how they are great baby sitters for my young kids. Bought a phone later that week with someone else. Amazing customer service. I came here with my 85 year old mother who was locked out of her voice mail. We had spent 3 hours on the phone and computer trying to solve the problem. With no success. We finally decided to go to a Verizon store, and Ryan provided amazing service. He helped us get to the bottom of the problem and fix it within 15 min. We had Alex Hood sell is a plan and two, yes two high end phones. The deal was but one, get one and get two $200 gift cards. He have us a receipt that did not show everything and was lacking clarity due to lack of ink in printer he told us to wait to bring our old phones in for two weeks and if we wanted to return the cases we got, to do that before 14 days. We were very clear on the tips he have us. WHAT HE FAILED TO TELL US, was that you had to read your receipt, find the code and enter on the web site before a certain date to get the two $200 gift cards. HE NEVER SAID THAT, or we would have done that right away, as soon as we got in the car. We would have jumped on the site and entered necessary items from receipt. HE NEVER TOLD US THAT IS WHAT WAS NEEDED. He only said, it would take six weeks to get cards. So we waited. Called and found out we missed the date and Verizon could not help us. We visited the store and Alex, got all kinds of promises that he would send in a request for the cards, explain what happened and keep us in the loop. THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER!!! Never sent me emails on the progress of the request. We called Verizon four times. They will credit our bill $200!!!! WRONG ANSWER. DO NOT USE VERIZON STORE IN MERIDIAN IDAHO AND DO NOT TRUST VERIZON!!!! I'M DO MAD. WE were with Sprint 16 years but had horrible connection service, so we switched. Totally regret!!!!
