I have been a loyal AT&T customer for nearly 30 years. After an experience at this location, I may no longer be one. I upgraded my phone and added another number to my plan. The customer service rep at the store said I could cancel the additional number without issue. I did end up cancelling the number and was billed an additional $700 for the phone that was an upgrade to my original number. I called AT&T customer service and was on hold for a while and eventually connected to a call center outside the US. The rep placed me on another home and was disconnected. I decided to return to this AT&T store to try and resolve the charges. The in-Store customer service rep pulled up my account after explaining my concerns. She went and brought over a "manager" who stated that his employee that added the line would never have set up the account the way she did and said " I need to backup my employee and there is nothing we will do to resolve YOUR issue". Horrible service and he did not care what I had to say. HIS employee was right and a 30 year AT&T customer was wrong. Another phone call to AT&T customer service quickly resolved the issue. I will never return to this location due to the arrogant "manager". AT&T, please remind your employees to be customer service oriented and actually TRY to help your long term customers. This experience has tested my patience, and loyalty to AT&T. I may be looking for a new provider in the future as a result of this "manager's" attitude. read more

Be wary of the business practices at this store. They make promises they won't keep and tend to push you towards phones and watches they have in stock.. I switched over to AT&T based upon the monthly quote they provided. It included 2 new iPhones and Apple watches. They tell you the first bill will be somewhat higher but, I was shocked when my quoted monthly bill of $240 came in at $423. I returned to the store and was told "don't worry, the next bill will be normal". Well, the 2nd bill was $308 and that was after I dropped their $50/month insurance. I again returned to the store and their manager, who seems to have a condescending attitude, explained that the credit they promised me for my trade in phones was not being honored. Needless to say, the discussion got heated and the manager finally said he would request a one time credit to cover the 3 years of higher costs. Bottom line, the credit they provided is short over $1,000 at covering their misrepresentation. If you must have AT&T I highly recommend you go to a different store. We hoped for a painless experience in buying new phones but our expectations were exceeded and the experience at this ATT store was even fun thanks to Ivan's expertise and customer service! My husband is one of those who, like most I imagine, has his phone on and with him all of the time. I hate phones - there I've said it and I once worked in this industry - so I avoid using mine as much as possible. Although mine was an older Samsung it would have worked for me in perpetuity but for ATT deciding to close down the G3 network on which it relied by Feb 2022. So new phones were needed by both of us and after features / function review with Ivan we chose the Samsung model that fit our needs. This location was out of that model on our first visit but the phones were easily ordered and in the store for us to pick up in 5 days. With Ivan's assistance our old ones were traded back to ATT and data transferred to new ones. Big woohoo too because since my hubby is ATT retiree we got a nice discount on phones and accessories. The only 'aww shucks' is they had no cases in the store for this model...most of their cases are for iphone. That is the single thing which I'd wave my magic wand to change here. Otherwise all really good. APPOINTMENTS: You can make one or walk in. Recommend the appointment. Mornings seem to be slower than afternoons. LOCATION: Convenient right on Eagle road, directly across the parking lot from the Boise CoOp Meridian location at The Village. Windows on two sides so light and bright. Well laid out inside for displays and product. PARKING: Private lot. ACCESSIBILITY: ADA / Accessible parking right outside the door. All on one level. In addition to standing height tables they have a couple in the back that are standard seating height. If I could give zero stars, I would. If you are helped by a young man named Jorge from Utah, please be aware he uses predatory sales tactics to get a commission. On 5/10/2024, my husband and I went to AT&T to see about switching carriers. He was playing with numbers and gave us an amount that was too high. I told him as much. As we were talking, Jorge and my husband started talking about cars. My husband and I have a car detailing business, and Jorge stops quoting us stuff on the computer and asks us to look at his black truck in the parking lot. We do and tell him we would love to help him. He then tells my husband I will make your bill X amount if you sign up today with AT&T, and you can detail my truck to help with the high cost of the first bill. My husband shakes his hand, and they make a deal. Jorge then tells us to return on May 17, 2024, at 11:00 am to get the truck to detail. We sign up for AT&T. On Wednesday, 5/15/2024, we text Jorge to confirm the appointment. Jorge never responds. Come Friday, May 17, 2024, my husband and I show up at the Caldwell AT&T, and Jorge then tells my husband that he is trading in his truck this weekend and doesn't need a car detail, but he wants us to come back Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to detail his girlfriend who is the pregnant car. Tuesday comes, and my husband and I go to the store to pick up the car. Jorge then says he doesn't have the money. Fine, it's not a big deal. When he never answered our calls or texts, I knew that he swindled us into getting AT&T services for his commission. Fast forward to today. It's 6/28/24, and I am still waiting to receive an email from AT&T, snail mail, or even a text message. I have gotten ZERO communication with AT&T regarding my new account. Mind you, it's been 50 days since we got service. I spend over three hours on the phone trying to get our account number and Fan Pin. I finally got all the information I needed to sign onto my account and discovered that the amount Mr. Jorge promised was NOWHERE NEAR what he quoted us. Remember that I have this man's handwriting and that what he wrote would be our monthly bill amount. I was HEATED, to say the least. I came into the store to confront Jorge, and I did. I confront him about lying to us and his predatory sales tactics. This guy doubles down and boastfully tells me he makes $10,000 weekly. Then, he tells me he didn't have the money to get his car detailed, but he makes $10,000 weekly. I pointed that out to him, but he had nothing to say. He lies, of course. Then he tries to lie and says we never came into the store to speak to him. Of course, I reminded him that I had turned on Google location history, and then he conceded to us coming in once. This guy has a problem with telling the truth. Even worse is that Jorge STILL has this black truck and never traded it in, as he told us he did the first time we went in to detail his car on 5/17/2024. It's parked as I type out front of the AT&T store. Please be aware that if you are going to be in need of services at this store Jorge uses predatory sales tactics, he will lie to you, scam you and say whatever he needs to. To get a sale and make a commission. Listen, I am a human being, too. I understand people need to make money, but don't scam people. Don't lie to people. Wanted to explore switching from Android to i-Phone and went to the Eagle Ave store in Meridian, ID (showed good reviews). Talked with Jonathan and we found a good fit with the i-Phone 15 Plus and Jonathan also went over my account options with me. We came in to add my elderly mother to our plan to save her some money (I take care of my mother as she has early onset dementia) The specialist we dealt with had first knowledge with Alzheimer's and trying to change my mothers current cricket phone to a new phone was too much for one day but this gentleman was willing to work with her every day for as long as it took for a new phone when she was ready. I went in to have the account transferred into my name after my husband passed away. The rep said that I couldn't do that. He made me open a new account and get a brand new phone so now I have a new set of payments! Then I find out that I could have transferred the account to my name and they lied to me! Before I found out they lied, I also went in to add another phone. The rep, Braydon M, said that my total bill would be $150 a month. I was there for less than 10 mins to get this new phone. It seemed so easy. Then I got my phone bill and it was $270! I went to a different AT&T store and the rep added a discount to help me out. He told me to go back to this store so they could fix it. Turns out the discount was a military discount and I am not military. When this store asked me, I told them that I wasn't military. The manager, Fabian Munoz, accused me of being untruthful. He was very rude and made it seem like I'm the one who said that I was in the military. So now my credibility is gone and I couldn't fight this issue with what Braydon did. I also found out that Braydon is a top performer at the store. Of course he is. He lies to people. I went back to the other store that put the military discount on my plan and the associate apologized. He was told that he could do that. The manager apologized for the behavior of the store and said that they don't like to apologize for their mistakes. I wish that I could leave AT&T but now I'm stuck with them for at least 3 months. Do not trust this store. They took advantage of a widow. How sad is that?!?! read more

This visit to AT&T was a lot easier than it could have been and it's because Eric was really helpful. Let me start with saying that I appreciate the thorough help delivered at this location. On multiple occasions, I've worked with Joe. Joe sat with me and my mom for two hours recording my mom's voicemails from my dad -- who has now passed away. It was emotional and difficult, yet Joe handled it well. Last weekend, we visited the store to inquire about phone upgrades. Kayleen worked with us on Saturday night to get the upgrades done. She was sure to discuss promos on our account. We were eligible for a buy one, get one for the iPhones. We also were able to purchase new iPads for only $49 per line. Amazing. Sunday, we returned for two more hours for accessories and transferring data. Her professionalism and kindness were stellar. She far exceeded our expectations. My sales rep Kayleen (gosh I hope I spelled that right) was truly amazing. This is the second time coming in to troubleshoot something on my new iPhone. The 1st time the rep and I worked out the issue together, as we both had no clue. He was super helpful with that. We got he problem fixed My second time in Kayleen literally called the ATT line for me as one issue could not be resolved in store. She fixed everything I had trouble with. After switching from Sprint, my OS did not want to connect properly. So glad she could help find and correct the issues. She even entertained my 15month old while I had to talk with the ATT customer service. My rep got me set up with new item, my choice, for my new phone. She did not push product on me until I asked. She also gave me the correct apps to download to streamline my new AT&T mobile service. Such excellent customer service. I have had the door held for me going in and out every time as well. read more

Slowest AT&T store ever. Don't go here. Go to Apple to buy your phones. It's the same price with better customer service. I literally watched 3 reps sit around and chat about the weather, cars and and a whole lotta nothing for over 45 mins without even being greeted. And then when I was 45 mins later I was asked if I wanted to make an appointment?! Really?! #1 ask me that when I walk through the door so I don't waste my time. #2 if you do bother to talk to me, at least ask me what I need. Especially when your store closes in 3 minutes and I still haven't been helped. I really hope someone reads this, hopefully someone at the management level. This store totally messed up my account. I had to back out of an upgrade because it involved a plan change that took away features that we were using. All the changes were not rolled back and now I am paying $40 to insure 4 devices, instead of the $18.00 on the 2 devices I previously had insured. Called customer service to get it put back and they wouldn't do it...told me I had to take the phones to the store...it is complete baloney...you didn't roll back the changes why do I need to take them in? Also, it was a good thing I checked my current phone before I left as it was not longer working. read more

Worst treatment ever! I have a friend on my account who was told earlier in the week it would be fine for her to upgrade the line since I had her on my account and she knew my password. I triple checked with the rep and he was helpful and said we would be good to go. Well when she goes to the same store 3 days later this was NOT the case. She was treated bad by the rep named James. He gave her horrible looks and was very rude, and said I HAD to be there. I have a 2 year old and a baby, so I had to leave work pick up my kids who were extremely tired at this point and drive up to the store to find out I was going to get the same treatment as my friend. Apparently there is a fraud ring going on from a few states and cost the company money. Which would been nice to know this instead of him going to the back and calling his manager in stead of doing it in front of me, the manager knew me from that Monday when I was in and added a line. I have given him information so he knew I was legit and who I really was. I know the rep talked bad about me to the manager since he wouldn't say anything to my face. So not only did I waste my time so did my friend who left early. My friend has a license of this state so she would been able to do the upgrade, but because this jerk was so closed minded and rude he refused to even see this. I went to an authorized retailer and found out about the fraud going on from my home state. The authorized retailer was more helpful than any store I have been too and I have lived in Idaho since March and have done much business here for proof that I am not FRUAD! And now the phone I got on the 8/22 is having issues and I don't even want to step foot into your store to exchange it because of the most dissatisfaction I have ever HAD, I have never ever felt this way about a store. I am a very understanding person but do not look down on me specially with kids with me. I have tried to post this on their company page, and they have declined it stating there was "inappropriate" content but what I posted here is what I have said. Went in last October to change my plan. Sales rep was helpful and said we qualified for a veterans discount. We retired and all we wanted to do was to reduce my data. My bill was about $90.00 a month at that time. After their vet discount my bill went up to 110.00 a month. Went in and got a different sales rep who said it takes a couple of months for discount to become effective. Bill still stayed 110. Until last month when it went down to 85.00. Went in every month since October and was told they would credit me the money back within two months and they even called the main company. Here we are eight months later and still nothing. I have had AT&T since they started in business. I'm not one to complain but if you are a veteran and they offer you a discount you will get ripped off. I am switching to Consumer Cellular and with the same plan I had with my so called veterans discount at AT&T I will only have to pay $45.00. Pretty crappy service for veterans I think. read more

I had the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any AT&T store . The staff was absolutely rude and disrespectful along with the manager not stopping an employee for talking rudely and actually stating that it was OK to raise his voice and continue to be argumentative to me! I can't believe this is how this AT&T store handles their customers and that's not how you help people especially people that have been with AT&T for over 30 years! The manager thought that it's OK to be rude and disrespectful to me even after I asked the employee to stop talking to me and he never stopped and the manager agreed with him! I have been a long time customer for the past 20 years. We decided to change our service due to no service when our truck broke down. We switched on the day that our next billing cycle started and even went down to ATT store and spoke to the manager. We received a bill for over $185.00 I called and spoke to a supervisior about the charges that it was on the next billing cycle. He said we owned it for the full amount due. I told him we will not be using the services for that month and they should prorate it since we canceled on the day the next billing cycle. I said I don't think that I fair since I no longer have the phones and why should I be paying for that following month if my not using there service. They said since I canceled on the DAY that the next billing cycle started I still owe for the following month. BUYER BEWARE!!! The manger at Eagle location said I should be fine and that they would prorate the bill!! I guess they were lying!!! ATT are ripe offs and I plan on NEVER going back!!! read more
