I went there on 4/3/26 10:45 am to transfer 5 lines and 2 watches fr ATT to Verizon. I was not informed at this Victoria store that in addition to the Set Up & Go fee of $40 per line and $29.99 per watch that I would also be charged $40 per line by Verizon. This is a rip off bec when I left Victra I had no phone service and was told by Rainy I had to wait for 24 hrs for the transfer to be complete. It took a while for the other 4 phones to figure out what they had to do to get connected. By email/wifi, we were able to communicate to the 4 others in different island and states. My phone still could not get or send calls. I could text thru my home WiFi connection. I returned to the Victra store on 4/4/26 and didn't 30 min with Amanda. It appeared all was good. By Sunday 4/5/26 1:00 pm, I got disconnected while on the phone and could no longer receive or send a phone call. So of course had to return to the store again today 4/6/26. Roz had to call Verizon and tell them to expedite the processing bec my line was still in "in progress" mode in the port. I hope this works bec I will be traveling tomorrow and need to have service. Somehow the staff are not knowledgeable and straight forward. Before they start any any transaction, they need to inform the customer that they will be charged $40 per line by Verizon and $40 per line for Set Up & Go service by the Victra store rep. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I suggest those who want Verizon service to call Verizon to set up or do whatever is needed to open a new account or do it yourself online. read more

I would give zero stars but i can't. My problem was resolved after I called the Verizon for help and another walk in visit to the store. I cannot believe the hassle and stress I had to go through to get the deal they promised. Also, on my previous review they said to email them so they can look into my complaint. Very annoyed. I purchased a screen protection warranty when I replaced my phone last year. About a month ago, I stopped by and asked to have my screen guard replaced since it was cracked. So I was told they did not have it in stock and had to order it, and when they looked at the inventory, there were about 60 available nationwide! So it would take a while I was told. So not in any immediate hurry, I agreed to put in an order and wait. Fast forward 1 month later, I stopped by and inquired about the status. A different person said I would have to go online to place an order. But when telling her about my previous visit, I was told that no, since my phone is an older model, the store returns all the older stock, so it is not available. Then I was told that even if they (the store) place an order, no guarantee they can get it. So even more so, I was told I should order it online myself. So 3 issues: 1) why was i not told to order online on my first visit if now what I'm being told is true, 2) why nobody bothered to notify me - or else I would have waited forever if I did not stop by? 3) because I have to order online, I have to pay $12. May sound manini, but when I bought the warranty, I had the impression my screen guard would be replaced at no cost. Poor disclosure at sales. I now feel the amount I paid for the warranty does not have much value. So I don't know how all this will work out in the end. They sure can improve on disclosing things more accurately in the beginning ...and try to get the story straight the first time. Customer support sure can be improved. read more

7/11/22 UPDATE: After months, there has been no response from Victra, the company that owns the business or JONAH, the Manager, who originally included as "part of the deal" all the accessories (putting the screen protector on the phone that was never asked for) then charged us for $250. Receipt was supposed to be emailed and never arrived. Company then refused to take back any of the items because we used them and didn't have the original packaging anymore. Complete scam. read more

Mike is the best! He helped assist my niece in purchasing a hot spot to add to my account. When she got there, she had trouble verifying some of my personal information. Being that I live close by, he had her pick me up and he kept her place in line. We were very brief returning to the store, and he had the hot spot waiting for us. Mike is very knowledgable, and won't let you leave until the equipment is working and you understand how to use it. He is so friendly and professional. Terrible! Absolute nightmare! 0 stars! Jonah lied to me with my wife and newborn accompanying me. I was so dissatisfied I canceled the service and returned the equipment within the 14 days they give you. This was in September. I'm writing this while on the phone with Verizon customer service. They said the store confirmed we returned the phone but lost the tracking number?! Something sounds fishy here. So now I have received a bill from collections for $575.32 for a phone I have returned and it's effecting my credit! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE! If you need to go to a Verizon store make sure you go to a corporate location. They are more helpful and HONEST. This store is a private retailer and they make their own rules/prices. Don't go thru what I went thru. Go to the corporate location in Pear City or better yet do it yourself online. read more

There was a time when I was sick and tired of my calls getting constantly dropped and/or not having service with my current provider that I considered switching back to Verizon. I was a loyal Verizon customer for a long time because their coverage is unsurpassed. However, when it was time to add my son to our plan, I couldn't ignore the fact that their plans are more expensive than all the other carriers they compete with. Now that Verizon offers military discount, I wanted to see if their plans can compete with my current provider's price. I visited this location to inquire about their plan pricing and phone specials. I wish I remember the name of the woman who helped me, because she can really use additional sales training. I told her I was comparing prices so I can make a more informed decision whether to switch to Verizon or stay with my current provider. I was very forthcoming and told her that I was comparison shopping. I specifically told her I needed quotes for 4 lines with the military discount. She kept insisting I buy the protection plan for all 4 phones, which is an additional monthly cost per phone. I told her I didn't need the protection plan, but she kept trying to convince me that the protection plan is a necessity. I used to work at Circuit City when I was in college and I understand that corporate puts a lot of pressure on their sales reps to sell protection plans because it's a money maker for the company. However, if a customer tells you they don't want it, you need to respect their wishes and stop trying to pressure them into buying something they don't need or want. She wouldn't give me the quote for the plan without the protection plan because she felt she knew more than me. I don't have a protection plan with my current provider and I wanted to compare apples with apples. I could have just manually deducted the price for the protection plan from the quote she gave me, but at that point, I had already thanked her, but she kept droning on and on so I tuned out and was politely inching my way to the exit. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this location as I loathe when sales reps do not know how to listen to their customers. read more

I ordered a new phone through Verizon in the mail this past week. I had some issues with activating my new phone with my old phone information. I came in and Jeff (maybe Geoff) helped me with getting it set in a matter of minutes. He was friendly, positive and professional. There are conveniences and advantages to being able to operate technology independently, but it is great to see that there are still people in the community who haven't lost the art of human interaction. Terrible customer service. I went in to check out the iPhone 11 Pro. I asked where I could find it in the store and the worker with the short ponytail points from across the room. Nobody else was in the store. When I asked about the lack of a home button he tells me from across the room to swipe up. Doesn't even have the courtesy to help me or see if I needed any help. I won't be back and neither will my family. There are too many other choices for me to come back for poor customer service. read more

The people are nice here, but they are not very open about pricing. I went in to purchase accessories and I kept asking the prices of the items, and the rep said he would let me know. I again asked for the prices of the screen protectors and he said, "they're all about the same price." And then they starting putting everything on my phone & then I noticed the price on the screen. It wasn't ever said to me, even though I kept asking. I'm not making this review to bash anyone, which is why I'm not mentioning names. Everyone was nice. Just be aware that they're not very open about how much everything will cost. I felt like it was too late for me to back out, especially because they were already installing everything on my phone. Tiare(sp?) and the crew were great! Very friendly, and knowledgeable. I had been on the phone with Verizon tech-support for two days, and was very frustrated. I went in the store and they immediately helped me solve my problem. In addition to that they were very knowledgeable about programs that could help save some money, but we're also not too pushy and trying to sell you things you didn't need. Verizon is the way to go!! Never had issues with them. Also, I ONLY see one person who is my go to girl for EVERYTHING. Brittany I met her at the Kunia location went to her for 2 years anything I had questions on she was always able to fix it in store or assist me on what to do if it could not be fixed in store. When I found out she was moving locations to Mililani, I already knew that I couldn't see anyone else for my phone or questions, I'd have to follow her there! Where ever she goes, I go!
