Karmen, manager, offer no help, just said it was a mistake. Switched from T-Mobile, Verizon lied about the bill total. Bringing own devices, close to $300 more than what they quoted us. Verizon store on Thompson Lane and Medical Center is absolutely the worst. I cannot send or receive calls and texts. He said he couldn't help me because my first name on my drivers license didn't match the first name on my account. The address matches, the date of birth matches, the last name matches. The account has the nickname (the first name) I go by not legal first name. I offered to give them my PIN, SSN, address, every phone I've ever had with them, and the other phone number on my account. They just said sorry. I pulled up the Verizon website and showed them my account. They said sorry. So I can never get my phone fixed because the account was opened in my nickname??? I opened the account in your store 21 years ago! Third time I've been to that store. the other times they were able to open my account but they always tell me to call customer service. The man that helped me out yesterday was wonderful and walked me through the process with his great sense of humor!! My poor rating is not because of the customer service, but rather the after math that has now happened TWICE to my family. Every time we go to this Verizon store, something within their purchasing process gives out our information insecurely to people trying to take advantage of it. A few months ago, my fiance got his identity stolen, as well as his card (the one he used to make the purchase) compromised within a week of going to this store. I went to the store YESTERDAY and my card has been compromised (Also the one that I used yesterday). We have different banks and credit card companies that we rely on, so it is not in relation to them. I am now changing all of our account information on everything for the second time in 3 months. I am hoping they will look into this and prevent this from happening to others in the future!! read more

Well I appreciate all these reviews are the good or bad but Canada speak the truth here? Verizon is the most evil crooked dumb ass company on the planet. My frustration with them days back to 1999 when I had Verizon coverage and tried to end it and had months and months of issues to rectify billing issues because they just wanted their fucking money. It was so bad over the course of several months that I swore to never be better for Verizon again. Now in 2022 when my aunt passed away, the end that I've been helping for years with her bills and finances, I tried to Claire everything out with Verizon in good faith. But no they could not do that. She died in January and now it is August and it took this long to get any reconciliation of her bill. And we finally got closure Verizon ended up charging her account after she died. Yes I said that. I had the phone cut off beginning of February yet later in February there were charges on her account and they had us responsible for them. She died on January 25. How honorable of them. Verizon can rot in hell. And anyone who does business with them is a fucking idiot. Peace. read more

I've been with Verizon for over a decade and have never been treated with such disregard. The young staff here have no idea what their doing and the managers do not care if they mess up. There was clear miscommunication in regards to what I was paying for, went back not even 24 hours later to get it straightened out and the staff were rude and would not help me. They bully you into walking away and should never treat their customers like this. I ended up paying almost triple the amount that I was suppose to and they refused to help. They are always understaffed and take forever to get to you. Most the people that work here seem to not have a clue. I came in to change out my car charger that has gone bad for the second time. So far I have sat here for 15 minutes just waiting for someone to change it out. It's a huge inconvenience to me that their parts just go bad over and over and I keep having to spend time out of my days to come and sit and wait forever. So finally, after 10 days of calling numerous times a day and being passed around to who knows how many different people, I finally got my moms phone turned off today. My sister in California even took the death certificate down to a store for me but even though I called and gave them the go ahead to listen to her, they still wouldn't do anything because she is not me. We did EVERYTHING they asked and it still wasn't good enough. Every time we did what they asked, they changed their story and wanted us to do something else. Then they tried to get me to keep the line and just change it into a tablet. Oh hell no. You couldn't get the billing right on my first tablet, why in the hell would I do another one?!?! I am still fighting my bill but I have filed a complaint with the BBB because we have received a few responses back due to our previous review on here and when they detail out the charges, they are all different!!! That's what happens when you lie... you can't keep it straight. JERKS! I will be calling other cell phone providers this week to see which will buy out our contract with Verizon. The employees and especially the two managers were totally inept, rude, condescending, and completely uncooperative. My son had a Verizon phone from this location for (8) days and it stopped working. The manager took one look, put his finger on the screen and stated they could not replace the cell phone. They made no effort to further diagnosis the problem. This resulted in a heated argument. We sent the cell phone to the Verizon warehouse where after checking the phone they stated they would refund a full replacement at no charge. Horrible customer service. Spent 3 days working to replace my phone with an upgrade. Very inconsistent information between in-store, online, and telesales. Floor associates very rude and pushy. When I finally decided on purchasing I was informed that I could have taxes billed to my next invoice and have the upgrade fee waived because I have a corporate account with them. They refused to let me bill taxes to next bill so I reluctantly paid up front, even though I had it in writing that I didn't have to am showed it to them. Then they refused to waive the upgrade fee. When I asked for a manager the associate helping me out, that btw already had a bad attitude, rolled his eyes at me like a teenage girl and laughed as he was getting up from the table. I said some choice words to him about that to say the least. When the manager comes over he tells me that he can waive the 30 dollar upgrade fee but he is unwilling to do that for me because I was not spending enough money and Verizon was not making enough profit so he refused to waive it. I guess a new iPhone 8+, otter box defender, gorilla glass screen protector, and car charger was not enough. To top it off after I left with all my new toys and still frustrated I realized that they had over charged me. read more

Worst customer service. Sales rep was no use. Manager was helpless. They're just there to be on the clock. I bought the new iPhone Xs max and a screen protector which cost me over $1100.00 worth. He had put the screen on and left it in the box. When I got home the screen had a slight chip n there's a bubble in it. Took it back the next day and they wouldn't do anything about it. They wouldn't let me return it or exchange for another one. All they said was to file a claim, and there's nothing they could do about it. After all the said and done. Verizon is by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. My wife and I upgraded our phones and was told the cost would be $280 from tax on the phones and the accessory package we bought with our phones and that would be added to our normal bill. Fast forward to our first bill and the bill is for over $600 and once we called to find out why the bill was so high and noticed that we were charged over $300 for a free tablet when we upgraded our phones as well as an activation fee that we were not made aware of. Since it took so long for Verizon to contact us again our bill went up further to almost $900. On top of that my wife's mother passed away a few weeks ago and when my wife asked about turning off her phone we were told there would be an early termination fee for turning off the phone. We should've changed providers instead of signing another contract, especially with what they're doing to us now. This is absolutely despicable. So much for being helpful. read more
