Ordered a new phone from Verizon. First time in almost 20 years as a customer i went to the store to find out that they did not have the product that I had ordered. "Two of these phones were ordered yesterday, and we no longer have a phone in stock." When I asked why this was not communicated to me i was informed "we don't have your contact information." How is it that the clerk knew my name, but somehow didn't have my contact information as a long term client. I left and waited for the store to contact me about the ordered phone that I had pre-paid. I did not receive a communication regarding the phone until I was emailed that my order was canceled because I didn't pick it up. The cancelation was the same date, so I called the store to see if they still had the phone. Unfortunately the call was taken by an outside employee. Stephanie said she would leave a message for the store to get into contact with me. No contact from the store. Avoid this location at 2100 Tamiami Trail E. The location was so much better as a 7-11. I will order a phone from someone other than Verizon. read more

I have stopped at the Verizon store at 13620 Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers three times to try to get a problem with my phone regarding text messages to individuals rejected. I was told to take pictures of the failed transmissions so I could show customer service the problem. The last time was about two weeks ago, when a customer service representative by the name of Davion told me he fixed the problem. The same problem has persisted and I have taken subsequent screen shots, so I stopped in again today to try again to get my phone fixed. Unfortunately, I again encountered Davion, who was very negative from the beginning, probably because me showing up again at Verizon meant his "fix" hadn't work. When I showed him failed text screen shots from about a week prior, he told me he needed more recent information. I asked him why that would that matter. He became even more defensive, and even showed me the door. I said I did not come to Verizon to be insulted and did not intend to leave until my phone was fixed, so I asked to see the manager. Davion obviously had a chip on his shoulder and acted in a very condescending manner toward me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Davion should be summarily fired before he treats more customers in the manner he treated me. The only good part of this experience was that Constance, through a great deal of effort, was able to fix my phone. read more

I visited this store in October, 2023. I was offered an absolutely free upgrade from my old Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 to a brand new Flip 5 by one of the sale clerk, let's name him here Mr. B. I asked him to carefully check if I'm fully eligible for this unusually generous deal, and he assured me that I am. I went back 3 days later for the actual exchange so he had plenty of time for checking my account. I was charged for the new phone on my Verizon account next month, as the first of 36 due installment payments. I called Verizon, they promised me to check and make corrections by the next billing cycle. The same thing happened the next two consecutive months. I took me several hours on the phone at different times with different representatives. Eventually I had to complain at the top, at the corporate executive office of Verizon to find out that Mr. B has not checked my account properly, I was not qualified for the absolutely free swap offer. He lied about trying to contact me about this and then he simply kept my Flip 3 phone. When I personally confronted him over the phone, he hung up on me. After more than 3 months of struggle, I got compensated by Verizon. Unfortunately, this dishonest sales person, Mr. B is still employed at this store. read more

I've been to the store twice. The first time to trade in my flip phone for a android. They just looked at me and said we don't have that in stock you have to go to another store. Great customer service The second time I went to the store, I was trying to transfer information from a flip phone to a iPhone. They just looked at me and said it can't be done. I came into the store today wanting account information. There were 3 people in line in front of me all properly wearing masks. The account representative, Jason had is mask more off his face then on his face. When it was my turn to talk to Jason regarding my needs I first asked Jason to apply his mask properly. I explained that I am a health care worker and wear my mask to protect him and I would like him to wear his mask to protect me. He told me he would not answer any of my questions and asked me to leave. I find it outrageous that a Verizon representative would act this way ! I felt like I was pulling teeth trying to navigate the sludge. They do NOT care about the consumer and are flippant. Unfortunately I went to this dishonest store and purchased an iPhone SE. I was waited on by George who charged me $178. In addition to the iPhone I purchased a case for the phone and a screen protector. When I asked what I was being charged for he told me that there was also a $60 activation fee. I wasn't given a receipt and had to call and email and was then sent a receipt. I noticed on the the receipt that the activation fee was only $20 but I was also charged for LIQUID GLASS WITH $150 PROTECTION for $40, something I never asked for. It was simply put into my bag and I was charged for it and wasn't asked if I wanted it. I live in Miami and there are no Go Wireless stores anywhere near me so now I am stuck with this thing. Something I never would have purchased. I just received my monthly bill and I noticed that the unlimited plan I agreed to was $80 per month. George told me that if I upgraded to the unlimited plan my monthly bill would be less than my previous bill of $61. Even with a $10 loyalty credit I received on my bill, my monthly bill would be higher than my previous bill when you add in all the fees and taxes. Also I was charged a $40 phone upgrade fee, something George neglected to tell me. In addition, I was charged $17 for insurance but George told me there was an $8 option I can buy. I called Verizon and they were able to switch me back to my old plan and credit me for the insurance. They also told me that I should've been told about the $40 activation fee at the store and that there is no $8 monthly insurance plan. I have visited several Verizon stores in the past and had terrific customer service and honest experiences. Needless to say I will never go to a Go Wireless store again. Stay away!! We should have read the reviews before we entered this store. We were completely mislead and now we are PAYING for it. We were told what the costs would be only to find out he meant the "in store" costs. Once we got our bill we realized we got duped, to the amount of $1400, plus the $700 we spent in the store for overpriced items that we didn't need (presented as part of this package/promotion) And when we addressed the issue of course we were told it was our misunderstanding. So disappointing because we actually thought we found a good Verizon agent. This reflects poorly on this store, the employees, and Verizon itself. Unfortunately, we will have to see this plan through for 3 years, and Verizon has lost customers for life. We have been faithful to Verizon for 25+ years. NO MORE. When I went back to the store (3 times) I was told that they would "fix it" and that they would get back to me. After 4 months, neither has happened. After spending 2 days on the phone with Verizon technical support and taking our router into the Verizon store in Marco Island where without even looking at the router we were told we had to spend 150.00 on a new device. We decided to take a ride into Naples for help. We were greeted at the door by Jonathan Freeman the store manager. He immediately ran tests on the router to see if it could be repaired. He also took time with my 83 year old mother to explain everything to her about the new equipment she needed to purchase. He also made suggestions on how she could lower her Verizon bill. I am currently a AT&T customer and am considering changing to Verizon after the wonderful service we received . Was referred by my boyfriend to come to this retailer. Have been dealing with them for over a year. I never leave unsatisfied. With their help, this is the first time I have ever been able to keep a phone on a contract & was able to get an early upgrade. Earlier today, I came in at almost 6:30pm, just a half hour before closing & John was the one who helped my friend & I upgrade our phones & was able to accommodate us with all of our needs. He answered every single one of my questions, (I ask a lot.) He did not get frustrated & we had great conversation. He switched over our phones & even put the cases on them for us. I was sold 2 phones and Verizion plan, I was upsold on 2 cases that were not in stock but I could stop in and pick up in a week plus insurance. Week 1 no cases and my salesman not in store, Week 2 no cases my salesman not in store, Week 3 phone call from shipping agency for the cases can't deliver to store will send to me, Week 4 no cases, my phone knocked off and the screen destroyed. Now I have an additional headache that I have to pay $99.00 for the deductable on the phone and wait for another phone to program. After calling this company to tell them I have a busted phone and I want a replacement due to not getting the protective cases I again get the run around, told they will not do anything about it, but I did recieve the cases I paid for on Feb 5. finally on March 2! If we could give a zero we would. We went to the store and spoke with Cody K. and I told him my wife was interested in either the i13 or i13 PRO phone by Apple. We had a $700.00 discount from Verizon through our phone service. He recommended the PRO. He said to my wife she should pick out the cover etc and she said no we will purchase those items elsewhere. Cody said "they were included" So Molly picked out a cover. Cody then retrieved other items and began to install them on the phone and did not discuss anything with us. After he programmed the new phone he said it would take an hour to charge. He then charged our credit card $323.00 and we understood that to be the difference between the $1009.00 cost for the phone and the credit of $700.00. We returned after lunch and he gave my wife the bag and phone and explained nothing further. LATER from Verizon we were told we will be charged $309.00 for the balance on the phone through Verizon and the $323.00 was for the accessories. We were ripped off. Worst service possible. Wanted to rate zero but one is lowest. Only 3 customers in the store when I arrived today (Saturday afternoon). Each of them were being helped by staff. I was asked to put my name and wireless number on a sign in sheet - no other names were on it so obviously a slow day. I waited patiently, wandering the store for 20 minutes looking at their products and seeing if anything caught my eye. One by one the other customers finished their transactions and left the store. Not one staff person went to check the sign in sheet or ask if I needed help. One of them even went past where I was standing to go sit down in the customer waiting chairs and another (the one who so cordially asked me to put my name on the sheet) asked how I was and proceeded to the back room. While on vacation I needed to replace a water logged phone. I have three phones on a shared minutes plan with each on their own data plan. The rep stated that I had an available upgrade so I could purchase the phone I was interested in at a discount as well as receive the current rebate reducing the cost by $100. In addition, it was the last day for a free Jetpack promotion. Based on my plan, it would only cost me $4 extra a month for the service an no cost for the jet pack. The rep appeared very helpful. HOWEVER......the rep did a number of things without fully disclosing or misrepresented the facts. She never showed me the itemized bill before asking me to sign using the keypad. Upon further review, I discovered that she charged me for setting up the phone and jet pack without disclosing there would be a cost or asking me first ($10 each) and she charged me $50 for the jet pack. When I submitted the rebate form, it was for the phone only and for $150, not $100. While the additional $50 offset the cost of the jet pack, it wasn't free and will require a restocking fee now if returned. In addition, in order to get the jet pack service to $4/mos. she changed my minute plan without disclosing and put all three phones on a shared data plan of 6 GB. With our previous separate data plans we had 4GB, a 2GB and a grandfathered unlimited data on a third line. There was no way we wouldn't incur add'l data charges in the future. In addition, the upgrade was not on my phone but on the unltd data phone. Since she used that upgrade the unltd plan went away and can nvr be recovered since they no longer offer unltd data plans. I discovered many of these details after speaking with a Verizon customer service rep. He stated the rep could have kept me on my former plan and used upgrade but unltd data would be 6GB instead. Could not give back the unlimited data plan. So I had him revert back to my former plan and suspended the addl line set up for jet pack for 90 days so I could resolve the jet pack issue with Go Wireless directly. It has been two weeks since I called both the store location and corporate customer service. Corporate siad i needed to deal with the store direct but would call me back the following day to confirm whether manager returned my call. To date, The manager has yet to call me back and I never recd the follow up call from corporate. Today I left another message with the store and was told the message would be given to the manager As well as the district manager that was due in today. Yet to be determined whether this will be resolved. At a minimum, buyer beware and make sure you clearly understand every little detail provided in writing BEFORE signing as they requested. read more

He helped me with the problem I was having and immediately made sure all my account settings were right for me. He analyzed my usage and recommended a better plan. This store should be closed down for deceitful business practices. I will never go there again and would advise anyone else not to. It does not even deserve the one star. If you'd like to know why, read on: I went in only to upgrade my Samsung to an iPhone as I just got an Apple computer. I had called Verizon and was told I could upgrade for only a few dollars more a month. The store is in a convenient location, they helped me before with set up of new phone and with transferring data so I went there rather than have the phone mailed. I had dealt with Tabitha and she was quick to work with me, first we went to pick out the case. She proceeded to look up my account details etc, asked me for $17.91 in cash for some reason ("to "edge up"..?), had me sign a few times and after quite awhile gave me the total of $186. (Unfortunately I was not paying much attention to what she was doing as there was chatting going on with another person at the counter) I asked why so much, she said because of tax on the $700 phone, but I would get a $50 rebate. She had the rebate papers all filled out and in an envelope. I had left and came back while they transferred my pics, I had this before and trusted them. When I came back I was handed a bag, I said wow what's this, reply from another agent that was involved with the scam was, it's your boxes (from phone and case etc), I had already spent much more time there than I thought I would so I finally left and went home. When I got home, Surprise, a tablet was in my bag! I finally reviewed my paperwork and found she put me on some special deal they're pushing for $79.99. **Turns out the rebate was not for the phone but for the tablet that I was NEVER told about. She changed my data plan giving me 500mg less (apparently to keep the bill the same so I wouldn't notice) and added another phone line to my account. All without telling me! I am so disappointed and surprised that she really thinks I'm that stupid as to not notice eventually. I called and was told, well if you don't want it just bring it back. Like I really wanted to spend more time there with those crooks the next day. I ended up going on Sunday. The first agent I spoke to insisted I'd have to pay a $75 restocking fee!! I asked to speak to the Manager. He went over to the manager's desk and came back and told me that he is not available because he's doing inventory today! He (Jonathan) was right there on the phone and by this time I was livid so I went up to him and insisted he wait on me. He told me not to be rude but eventually did the return by calling Verizon etc and put me back on the data plan I never wanted to change. Not once an apology for my inconvenience. I suspect he was in on the scam. He acted like it was no big deal and told me I'd alway get 25% off on anything I bought in the store. I wouldn't go in there ever again even if they were giving things away and wouldn't recommend anyone else does either. read more
