Then Denise after mocking us and refusing to process the return, snuck out of the store on the last day the item was eligible for a return, and told her Assistant to tell us, "she's gone for the day and won't be back for a few days, so Denise WON'T do the return." Denise INTENTIONALLY sabotaged our return and cost us over $1k. Watch your back with this store and Denise. I called, and they insisted it must be my equipment, and a technician can come out in 24 hours. I explained over and over that my problem started when the trucks appeared around my house. They insisted that there were no outages in my area except my house, so it must be my equipment. I pointed out that I can see the wires at the utility pole in front of my house are disconnected, and they insisted the tech would diagnose. The very friendly tech arrived (early!) and quickly determined that Cox had disconnected the line to my house due to detected egress. He shook his head....couldn't explain why they simply disconnected me with no communication, climbed up and reconnected, cleaned up the connection at my house, and all is good. Thank you Cox "Communications". And seriously, thank you to the technician who just wanted to make things right. Every single time they've told me it's the equipment in my house - EVERY TIME - they end up fixing it remotely or they climb up to that utility pole in front of my house and fix something. In their slight defense, this only happens every 2-3 years.

However be aware they don't have warranty for any physical damage (not sure what the point of even offering it is), screen was back to cracked after only 3 months of use. If I would've known that I would've just let Apple do the repair, so I suggest sometimes paying double the price is better if the repair will last you longer! Associates were very friendly though, and I did have a positive experience a couple months back when my iPhone charger broke off in the slot, they were able to remove it for me! I stopped using AT&T because of this. The sales rep at the store was no longer there, who told me they had no means at the store of giving me a receipt for my cellphone trade-in. I should've hand wrote a receipt and had him sign a copy of the trade-in but I'm too trusting. My first AT&T cellphone was in 1984 and was a DynaTAC 8000X that retailed for $3,995, which would equate to over $9,000 today. I have it on my desk as a paperweight. AT&T is the gold standard of service (sadly) and I'm now with Verizon after trying 3 other cellphone services and I barely get 1/2 of a bar and constantly dropping calls. I live on 40 acres in a rural area of St Tammany Parish. I refuse to be cheated out of $1,000 plus I bought the 'new' trade-in off eBay ($350) to use for the $1,000 credit, so I actually lost $1,350 and after 40 years that's no way to treat a valued customer. I'm not a valued customer!
