I arrived to deal with a phone issue that couldn't be resolved over the phone. I check in, it's very busy. I see a Verizon rep (got his name Nick) dealing with a very rude, negative, impossible customer who wanted to go in circles. She had already been there over an hour. Nick maintained far more politeness and patience than could have been expected, don't know how he did it. Sara was quickly moving through customers, multitasking between them, making sure everyone was getting taken care of. These are two above and beyond people. I left the store 40 min past closing time as they were still giving the last customers what they needed. read more

If I could give today's experience zero stars. I would. I left my apartment around Noon and got here around 12:20. Figured at the most I could be here half an hour or so. I was just wanting to upgrade my phone and up until the point of transferring data from the old to the new, things were going okay. The sales rep working with me told me had to go on his lunch break. Not the best sign, but hey, the transfer is going okay, so probably not a big deal. I asked if someone else could take over just in case and he talked to someone else who was supposed to. Except the transfer started delaying and I look up and the next thing I know, the rep assigned to me is walking out the door. He comes back in later with some ice cream treat apparently on his lunch break. So, I am stuck there and the timer on how long it will take keeps going up, eventually even to when it would be more than one week before the data was transferred. I am stuck there as one lady even has at one point three people working on her problem with her, one I think could be the manager. This lady said she was an author and I remember her saying distinctly she was working on an erotica next. Thank God there weren't any small children there. No one said anything about that. Eventually, the first person who had been working with me did come back and he said the transferrence had just frozen and he got it working, but in the end, I didn't leave until around 3:50. That was about a three and a half hour wait. I was thoroughly angry and started even considering maybe I should switch to PureTalk to make sure I don't have to do something like this again. Well if I do stay, I do know this. I'm never going back to this store ever again. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS VERIZON LOCATION!!! I received the WORST customer service at this Verizon. Today, May 2, 2023 around 4:00 PM I walked into Verizon where I was met by a black woman(didn't get her name), about 5'0-5'4 with curly hair who was signing customers in. Last week I had dropped a trade in device off to be shipped by Verizon back to their warehouse and was told it would be shipped the next day. I received nothing from Verizon stating that I dropped the device off to them. Per my Verizon app, UPS tracking (I also went inside a UPS store who told me they never received the device) and about 6 representatives over the phone, I was told the phone had never been shipped off & that I needed to go inside the store I left it at for assistance. I relayed this information to the woman who kept repeating that the phone had been shipped and is no longer at the store. I then asked for proof or confirmation of it being shipped or received from me and she proceeded to tell me that she would not give me any and literally walked away while I STILL needed assistance and started assisting other customers. She treated me so nasty and had the worst attitude which made me (a loyal verizon customer for over 6 years) consider discontinuing my business with them!!! read more

My wife and I were visiting from Atlanta when my phone screen turned a yellowish tint and began flickering. We weren't flying back to Atlanta for another day and it was clear my phone could go at any minute. I was still in a legacy contract and a year away from qualifying for a discounted phone. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, I wasn't going to pay the $150 deductible to have the phone insurer ship me a replacement for my Moto X that they don't even make anymore and that may not even arrive at our hotel before our flight home. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Google Pixel at full retail. However, unbeknownst to us, Peter, the district manager was in the store that day and Gregg, our sales associate notified him of our situation. Upon Gregg's return he informed us that Peter saw that my wife and I have been customers of Verizon for over 12 years and so he overrode the transaction so we could walk away with a new phone at half the retail purchase price. I was hesitate walking into this store, given the number of negative comments. I didn't want to deal with crappy customer service. Fortunately, I didn't experience the lack of customer service like the many commenters before me. My experience was the complete opposite. I walked in with my new iPhone and Ashton treated me asked how he could and proceeded to walk me through answering each one of my questions. He was extremely patience and kind. He didn't try to brow beat into buying any additional products or services but did casually ask if I wanted a glass screen protector. Given the fact that I had one on my last phone and had the phone for 4 years with no damage to the screen, I jumped on it! Ask for Ashton if you go, he was great! read more

I walked in and waited for 30+ minutes . manager starts with me when he comes around asking names to put on the wait list. The next lady in line that came in just 5 minimum before I did gets her name on the list. Then the next guy. He finished his customer and then went straight to the lady and served her as if the list he just made meant nothing. i had on work clothes and some dumb people assume that means a man is poor when they see paint on your shoes and clothing. I was about to purchase the best phone in the place and the lady walked out purchasing nothing. the manger then asked me what I wanted I said I didn't want him to sell me anything and would wait on someone else to serve me and I did not want him to get a commission on a purchase I had made because of the treatment I received from him. he said he didnt like my attitude and to leave the store. ---So no one got the sale . which is fine I went to Best Buy and got the service I wanted and I have Geek Squad in case anything happy to my phone . When you have to go to the phone store on a Saturday it's rarely something you look forward to.... but I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth, personable, and productive this visit was. Though it was tremendously busy, they noticed me within a minute of walking in the door and added me to the que. The first customer service rep heard my issues and set .e up on an iPad to resolve one easily on my own while I waited. She checked in on me and helped when I hit a roadblock. Before a rep would call the next person they reminded everyone politely of where they were in the line. Within 40 minutes I was heading home more than satisfied with my experience and ready to roll. read more

U-Verse and combined billing is the worst- So- I have been Blown Away by how Easy and Pleasant it has been to work with/ be a Verizon customer. SERIOUSLY- it is a completely different mentality in the store as well as Verizon in general. They're so on the ball- so quick to help with service and answer questions .... AND- BONUS- they have Free classes on Saturday mornings for customers to come in and learn all about how to use their new tech. They alternate 1 week is for Apple/ the next weekend is for Android. THAT saves me approximately 5 calls per day from my mother- who has just gotten her first smartphone. Hallelujah ! read more

I had an awful experience at this Verizon store just yesterday. Around two weeks ago my cell phone broke and the Verizon back home (New York) quickly got me a new one through my insurance (Asurion). The replacement phone was sent to me down in New Orleans, but unfortunately it was not working properly. I took it to this Verizon store and they figured out it was the sim card reader, which could not be repaired. I had to put in a second claim with Asurion to get a second replacement phone, which came in the mail two days ago. After I received my second replacement I was unable to get service on my phone (i.e. making and receiving calls). I brought the phone to Verizon. They said the reason I could not make/receive calls was because my phone line was suspended due to a "a report that the phone has been lost or stolen". Immediately the Verizon staff member (Sergei) said I "must have" suspended my service with Verizon. I said that I had never done that, and he reacted as if I were lying. Next he attempted to unsuspend the service and didn't make it 10 minutes before saying that Asurion was the one that claimed I had a lost/stolen phone and that Verizon couldn't do anything about it. I called Asurion and they told me that they did not, and do not, put in lost/stolen claims, only broken phone claims. Not only did they not do what Verizon was accusing them of doing, but they couldn't rectify VERIZON's issue even if they wanted to. Literally during the phone conversation with Asurion, Sergei takes the phone from me and says (regarding me) "this guy doesn't know what he's talking about". At that point I had enough--this man was accusing me of suspending my own service, then saying Asurion is the reason my line was suspended and they couldn't unsuspend it for me, then that I am clueless. At this point I asked for the supervision. He disappeared for 15 minutes and I left the store. Later I spoke to Verizon on the phone and it turns out that Verizon's Device Management Department mislabeled the phone as lost/stolen. After 1.5 hours on the phone with a polite, respectful and competent Verizon member, the situation was resolved and my phone worked again. TLDR: While I can't speak to the stock or sales aspect of this store, the customer support, in my brief experience, is awful and frankly disrespectful. You are better off calling Verizon than walking into this store for support. If you happen to find yourself under the same circumstances I was in, avoid Sergei at all costs. read more

I brought my two year old Samsung in for battery issues. Tech spent time looking at my phone - suggested three possible causes - which were not the problem for this -- phone dying and rebooting on lower charge. Kept telling me (many times) this was just old hardware, couldn't expect better. Obviously wanted to sell me a new phone. Left and ordered the battery on Amazon for $10. If that doesn't fix it, will try to find some more knowledgeable technician. read more

This Verizon store is the bomb. All of the employees are super, super nice. I'm going to be honest - sometimes, the people at the phone store at the HARDEST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH IN THE WORLD. Jamal made my experience awesome. This store is really big and nice. They have a lot of accessories in addition to just phones. Their phone case selection is the best of any Verizon store I've been to. They have a lot of different speakers and cool phone gadgets. Plus, this Verizon is close to Uptown. Win. read more

I paid a somewhat frantic visit to this Verizon store on Sunday as my terrible Android phone (sold to me by T Mobile) had decided to stop charging that morning. Earlier in the day, I visited the good people at T Mobile on Tchoup (for the fourth time in the same number of months) to see if they could help me, yet again, fix my perpetually malfunctioning phone. They pretty much said sorry bout ya, and when I told them my plan to get in my car and drive to Verizon, they pretty much said sorry bout ya again, so I said bye. When I showed up to Verizon, there was no way to connect my broken phone to the machine they use to transfer contacts, photos, etc. from phone to phone, and I only had 20% battery life before my phone died forever. MATT and NISHA jumped into action; they were determined to find some way to help me. Matt actually saved my information to his own SIM card, then helped me download it back onto my new phone using the Verizon Cloud. They were both extremely patient and friendly. They allowed me to connect to their wireless internet so I could get some work done while I was waiting. I ended up replacing my ill-fated Android with a beautiful iPhone 5s for $100. Promptly took an awesome selfie with its glorious camera, which everyone liked on Facebook and Instagram, and now my self esteem is very high. My phone was in bad shape after a mis-hap in the Quarter. The last thing I thought I'd be doing on vacation was finding the nearest Verizon store. Adam was very nice and very helpful (full disclosure: we had come from a walking cocktail tour. We were tipsy). We came in about 30 mins before closing, and that could've made the employees mad. However, they were chill and professional. I had a new phone and a great explanation of what charges I was facing. Long story short, my order for a new phone was cancelled twice by Verizon because the staff in store did not notify that they accepted the order. A two-day wait turned into a two week fiasco while the store had the new phone all along. read more

The volume of customers is high, so you can tell they're just trying to get you in and out and make sales and they have absolutely no consideration for your time, energy, or the amount of money you're spending. Employees were helpful in assisting w replacement phone. Seemed to do their best to accommodate. I am super disappointed that representative that activated my new phone told me that my old phone did not have a memory card. Thanks to a friend that did a little research online...very little at that, was able to locate the memory card before I slipped old phone in the mail. I would have lost 2 years of photos plus that is my personal property. The directions inform you to remove the card before returning. It seems like employees would have knowledge of the products. I do have a phone that works on a positive note. Recommend doing your own research online about the products before accepting sales reps responses. Had a similar experience at Clearview store two years ago. read more

Fraudulent practice. I signed up with three lines with Bernard Jackson in Nov 15. Was promised $100/line port-in credit and $200/line bill credit after three billing cycle for my three iphone 6s. Called in after three billing cycle, BJ told me that I do not have any credits due to me and that I need to talk to his manager Whitney. I talked to Whitney. He finally gave me the $100/line port-in credit (total $300), but will not give me the $200/line bill credit (total $600). I then call customer service. They basically told me that there were no promotion on bill credit and cannot give me that credit. It is August and I have not gotten my $200/line bill credit. That is $600 bill credit that was promised if I signed with them which I never got. Don't believe these people. They will lie to get your business. read more

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever gotten. My friend and I went in to purchase a prepaid phone and she was told she was not allowed to change her number. So this purchase should be simple right? Prepaid phone, simple service plan. The customer service clerk was exceptionally cordial, but completely unable to help. After spending 20 minutes waiting for him to punch in the information into a tablet, he finally went to charge the phone and activate it. The phone did not charge after 5 minutes or even light up, but he kept telling us two minutes more. He then brought over another customer service clerk to make sure it wasn't working and when I asked about it again, he said two more minutes. After determining that it wasn't working, he said that he would check to see if there was any more in stock. I asked if we could get a refund if not and he said that it would cost us $35 to do so, despite the fact we had never even touched the phone. I objected, but waited for him to find out if it was in stock. After 10 minutes he finally came out and there were no more of that type of phone but there was a similar phone that used SIM cards that cost the same price. After 20 minutes of working on the tablet, he comes back and says this phone would cost $20 more. At this point I had been in the store for over an hour and just asked for our money back. The transaction had been conducted in cash, but the clerk, tried to take it out of a different register. After 10 minutes, a clerk removed the cash drawer from the register and walked away. I asked why they could not just refund the cash right away and was told they needed to enter the information properly. After 10 more minutes, he called another clerk over to help him process the refund. After 5 minutes another clerk was called over. At this point the store closes and they call over the final clerk. It had seemed as if the transaction was finally going to be cleared, but no, the first clerk called over had to help again. I'm livid at this point but did not raise my voice and was accused of being rude nonetheless. When I asked to speak to the manager, the second clerk who had someone else come over to help said she was the manager. I finally received back the funds, but after 90 minutes I left with no phone. This is truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. McDonald's trains their employees better than this. read more
