Run, don't walk away. We have no service. Have been back to the store 3 times, on the phone with customer service and technical dept too many times to count. We are told they are decommissioning the tower on Kumquat. We were told by their salesman that we would get great coverage in Edgewater. We have none and they don't care. Sell a service they can't provide. UPDATE A week after the Hurricane, we now have service at our home and work. Everything works great. It is VERY frustrating when you can't make a phone call. If you can keep this up T-MOBILE you will keep us as customers for life. read more

I rarely if ever go into a service provider's retail store - even though I've had a cellular phone from the beginning of the cell phone age. I'm one of those who toted around a bag phone and wore a pager - but I've never had a personal plan that I had to manage or pay for. I guess there are some advantages to having a position in corporate America. I normally have one of the latest model phones and I can say I've never had one fail - I've been using my iPhone X since the week they were released and haven't had any issues with the phone itself or service until recently. Well wouldn't you know it this one failed while on vacation when I was in the middle of nowhere or at least not in an area that was convenient to get a replacement, plus being it's a corporate phone it's not as simple as dropping in and swapping the phone out. Anyway after sending out a few emails from my laptop my people got with the Verizon people who contact their people at the store closest to my home in NSB and put everything in place to make this a simple Phone and SIM card swap when I returned to town. This was my first visit to this location and I was very impressed with the store's layout and friendly staff, they seem to have it all. I worked with Chip whom I had scheduled my appointment with - he had my replacement phone ready to set up when I arrived, a quick swap of the SIM Card and he installed the screen protector dropped it in the case and all that was left was to down load everything from my iCloud account which I did myself so they could service other customers. I had a very good and productive experience here they didn't try and up sale me or waste my time showing me the latest and greatest technology and since this was prepaid there was no check out. One thing I really appreciate was the fact that Chip told me if I ever have any issues I could call him or simply drop by the store and he would do his best to resolve them. I know it's not always possible for a cellular provide to have the fix for everything especially if it's a hardware issue like mine was but it's nice to know some people still understand the importance of customer service... read more

I explain my mom just passed and we would like to make some changes to the account Nothing more The young gentleman looks at his phone Then looks up and says sorry you need to go to a corporate store And walks away Regretfully on Yelp you can't give negative stars Didn't ask about the changes we wanted to make or even look at the account Called corporate that did a great job Please don't spend any money with this location!!!!! My husband and I needed new phones and stopped at this Verizon Store in New Smyrna Beach, FL....we are new to the area. Matthew was exceptionally helpful and located the phones we were requesting. I appreciated the fact that staff wore masks. Guillermo was extremely helpful and pleasant. He set up my new iPhone 12 Pro Max and my new Apple watch. He also helped me find the plug I needed and showed me how to work all the new tech my son had bought me for my birthday. He even got my watch on the cellular plan. I don't go out much anymore because of Covid, and I went late on a Saturday night hoping there wouldn't be a lot of people. I was the only customer but could see they had safety guidelines in place. Here is my update on the review I posted week ago. The store responded to my review and advised me to call general customer support phone number. Well in fact they just kicked me out instead of providing help. Note they did not listen their store phone in the review. They just posted general customer service desk. Something is wrong with that system. I called this number and waited on a line about 15 minutes. Then customer support specialist was not able to find my account. After around 1 hour speaking on the phone they decided to transfer me to the prepaid service department. However instead of transferring they just hung up the phone. I called this number again and they hung up again. I spent two hours just trying to find my phone number without any result. Do not use service of Verizon company. Go to other provider. read more

Was going to switch due to coverage issues with AT&T. Went over all the details in DEPTH. Asked every question possible. Ordered phones. Was not notified when they came in, had to discover that myself by going to the store and asking. Then they changed their story on the promo and told me I was out of luck. Very irresponsible establishment. They seem to lie just so they can order back-ordered phones and have them in stock. Buyer beware, they do not keep their word. Very nonchalant attitudes with zero effort at fixing their lies and misinformation. BAD BUSINESS. read more

After dealing with T-Mobile, a current sprint customer, they would not let me transfer to T-Mobile because they now own Sprint and wanted to keep charging me too much money leasing these old phones. These guys are the best at Verizon, was able to get 3 new iPhone 11 pros all downloaded with all my data in less than a hour. They finance my phones with 0 interest instead of leasing and gave me the 55+plan. Now I am saving lots of money with new phones and getting great reception. I live in New Smyrna Beach just a couple miles from this store. I bought 3 phones over the past 3 or 4 years there. Then I added a 4th just 8 weeks ago. I told the sales person I needed a phone that would work in my car and have a decent camera. So he sold me an LG. Two days later I returned it to the store because it would not fully load the contacts into the car. They suggested deleting it and re installing it ( pairing ). So I left and did that. 2 days later I returned and this time a sale rep, a nice lady, sat in my car with me and tried to get it to load. No luck. They suggested that I take it to the BMW dealership. I did that and they could not get it to load. I spoke with Verizon tech people 3 times, for about an hour each time, while they remotely tried to get it to load. Last week their on line tech guy said I would need to exchange the phone for an I phone. So I went there yesterday , 9-28-20 to do that. I went there today and a manager is trying to help me. I will update everyone next week...seems to care. read more
