In attempting to get wifi re-established after their product crashed unexpectedly & for not reason, they sent me two fault devices in a row & then refused to take one back at the store, saying that it could only be returned to the store via mail so I had to go to ups to mail it to the store. Verizon is like a jealous girlfriend for whom you have to file multiple restraining orders on! I made the mistake of switching to Verizon when my last term was up due to their supposedly stronger network. I'm not arguing that is the case with their 4G service, as it worked great during my cross Florida drives when (this year past) I've had my business road trips. So as a techie, when the new 5G iPhone came out I was all ready to order the new iPhone 12 ProMax. Then I ran into Verizon's online ordering system... First, their online ordering system appears to be stuck in the Web 1.0 with no easy way to enter an alternate shipping address with details such as in care of your company's name or suite number. You can see how that leads to issues right? Well, as my review for a certain shipper indicates it did for me. Next, their on hold times to try and fix shipping issuers is atrocious. Yeah Rona and all but come on. If I'm calling directly and not using an app it means I have a big problem. Ok so after three phone calls they fix my shipping address, but my phone gets returned to the warehouse instead of to me. "sure you can go and upgrade at a store now because the phone is back in our system.." Yeah no , it turned out I needed to wait until it is returned and processed on their end. Add to that the fact Verizon's 5G is only around major cities and not widespread and I decided to switch over. Port it with a pin right? Nope, not Verizon and hence my comment on a jealous girlfriend. Apparently I need a different PIN number to port. Unlike T-Mobile they close their customer center at 7, which was around the time I went to the store and get my new phone. I'm writing this review thru the temporary phone Tmo gave me and / or my home wifi. So if I call with a different area code in the next few days... Or save yourself the aggravation and use any other provider. read more

I had a disappointing experience with Michael Reyes from Verizon on Biscayne and 123 St. All I needed was for him to tell me how to turn on my IMessage. He told me it was easy but couldn't help me because I didn't bring my ID. I told him I would do it. He just needed to walk me through what to do and told me he couldn't. I'm writing this post because all he had to say to me was to reset my network settings and restart my phone. This employee had zero empathy for me or my problem, nor did he care that I wouldn't have time to return with my ID. He didn't care. This is not good customer service. I will never shop at this location again. I have never had a good experience there with anyone who has helped me in the past. I would give them zero stars if it were an option. read more

Verizon nightmare! This store is a disaster , they really don't know what they are doing there, the store manager is never available. I switched to Verizon my line was never transferred correctly! After 34 days trying unsuccessfully sove the issue I decided to go back to T-Mobile which I should have never left . Verizon has been charging me for a service I never had. Now I've been back and fourth to this location which is very frustrating! And nobody can help , even after their acknowledgment of the issue. Now I get constantly phone call from collection which an ended up paying threatening me of damaging my credit which they did. The last absolute ridiculous thing I heard that is that they charge you in advance and even if your phone does not make calls or unable to receive the bill is the client responsibility. I can't believe this is serious business, that's ripping off people and I'm so sorry but the manager of this location should train his employees a little better! read more

My experience at Verizon exceeded expectations! We stopped in within an hour of closing to compare costs of adding a new line to an existing plan. Miguel greeted us immediately upon entering. Although so close to closing, he took his time to ensure all our questions were answered and we felt comfortable with whatever decision we made. He walked us through the pros and cons of all smart phones instead of trying to sell us an iPhone and get out the door. Miguel also explained the different plans available and which would work best for our household while saving us money. I was truly blown away by his level of service! Thank you so much! read more

Ralph decided to put me in his plan so he could save more money. I used to have metropcs, which I should have stayed with, but he would get charged every time he called or talked to me. Poor guy. We were just here to look at the phones and then discuss the plan to see. The rep there was explaining the plans, but whenever he explained it over again, it was a different story. We decided to check another store to do more research, because they were out of the phone that I wanted. There was a restroom, but it was only for employees. Talk about greediness. :P read more

This store is awful. I have had a recurring problem with my wife's iPhone that I bought at THIS STORE. I bought my phone there also. The phone could not connect to the network last week so they replaced the SIM card. It happened again this week. So I brought it back to this store. Their answer? Take the phone to an Apple Store. I asked them to replace the phone and they said no. Classic multi vendor finger pointing. So what am I doing? Heading to the AT&T store to switch. Placed an order online. Drove to the next county to get the phone my wife wanted. Jasmine told me to drive to this store and pick it up. She claimed they had two in stock. Drove here. Took better part of an hour. And no phone and none in stock. read more

Came to exchange a defective iPhone X and they didn't have it in stock so they got me an iPhone 8S. The new phone was defective as well, I came to the store within the 14 Exchange Saya and complaint that the phone is not working. They told me to wait a few days and that Apple will release an update that should correct the bugs. I waited but there was no update, so I went back to store and they told me that I had 14 days to exchange the phone and since that past, I am now literally screwed and they won't service it. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years, I am done with this company and their stores, horrible service read more

I had a horrible experience with Verizon telesales while switching from Sprint. I was directed to go to the store and this could have turned to a 1 Star review but Ronald Ramsden and the store manager, who by the way is super knowledgeable made this disaster a good situation. Their good will to solve the problem made it tolerable the 7 hours we spent at the store, they never gave up, were super nice and dear. We finally left happy with our new iPhones Xs fully functionals and grateful that we had such good people helping us. Congratulations to this manager for keeping such a great staff! read more

I left Verizon super excited. I not only got a great deal, but my sales rep, Thomas (tall you gentlemen with an urban accent) was fantastic! After of informing Thomas of my crappy 2 days with T-Mobile, he really walked me through the Service, plans, and financials accurately. I not only calculated the percentage of everything prior to miming but even at the store. And he also did right in front of me. Additionally, he helped me port my two numbers over set up my transfer of iCloud, and helped me set my state discount up for the service. Best of all,politely asked if it was okay to open my phone prior to doing so. I know I got someone great! But he also knew I knew numbers so he could not fool me. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I could hear the other sales rep discuss scams or better ways to make commission with their customers. However, is the customers job to do research. Now I am happier than ever with Verizon. read more

I have to take a minute to write about about YURI from this Verizon location! He is absolutely OUTSTANDING! From the moment I walked into this store to transfer my account from Sprint (boo! Hiss!), he has been the epitome of professionalism! He has the patience of a Saint and has made me very happy that I chose Verizon as my new cellular carrier. I had to come back a couple of times for some minor issues, today was a true test to any person's patience when Yuri had to literally take hours to resolve an issue and order me another phone. He handled the frustrating and tedious situation like a true customer service guru. He GETS IT! This type of personalized attention is what makes companies successful, not to mention performance of the service we demand as consumers of said companies. Yuri is what makes consumers like me, stay. I've been a Verizon wireless customer since 1997. I have been hanging onto my grandfathered unlimited plan which has a much higher data allowance before they throttle since I got it many years ago and have been paying about $500 a month almost twice as much as the normal unlimited plan. I came to this location to purchase the new iPhone and they promised me up-and-down no matter what I would not lose this plan. It has now been over a month and I have had conversations with five or six different managers at the location and in customer service and they will not return my plan no matter what I do or say! I can't believe it this place got me good and there's literally nothing I can do about it! read more

On a Saturday ( most busiest shopping day) this store has only 3 associates helping the public. One step out and the other two helping customers. One employee is greeting customers at the door but with all the customers being help or waiting he was just talking with coworkers. It doesn't make any sense. Definitely bad management and bad customer service because I told the " greeting guy " that I was leaving due to the situation after almost half an hour waiting , and either he doesn't care or he has no idea how to look and keep business for the company. I'm a Verizon customer for almost 20 years and I never had an experience like this! I do not recommend this store... look for another one !! read more

DO NOT go to this location. HORRIBLE Customer Service. The staff does not know what they are doing, nor saying. They give you the run around and they lie, on top of that they do it with an Attitude. Especially the assistant retail manager, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Never had I experience such behavior, you would have thought she worked on a cheap corner store. January 27, 2018 To Whom It May Concern; I purchased a HUM from a very nice gentleman at your Verizon store on 123rd and Biscayne Boulevard. I attempted to use HUM when I needed it the most. My cell phone was being repaired and I was out running errands. My car battery had died in the parking lot of a strip mall area at 209th St and Biscayne Boulevard. The HUM was dead. My battery was dead and I had no cell phone. I waited in the Pet Supermarket for over an hour for a tow truck. The following Monday I took the HUM back to the Verizon store where I bought it. I had the original box and all paperwork including the original receipt. The non-chalance and impertinence of Verizon personnel to treat customers with no regard and the nerve to charge me $191.00 for not using your product. Well, I dropped you as my phone carrier as soon as my contract ended and I will give your company nothing but bad reviews and not recommend Verizon to anyone I know or don't know. Shame on you. I have perfect credit and have had my Verizon bills in the past on autopay as I do many of my bills. You are the worst company as far as human relations and I intend to go on YELP and let all know it!!! You also have a reputation of being one of, if not the one of the most expensive in your industry. Again, shame on you. I am paying this creditor bill to keep my credit in high standing. Customer service was terrible. Would never recommend anyone go there unless you want to leave extremely frustrated. I left and spent all day on the phone with customer service and apple support in order to get my new phone working properly. Customer service even had to re-activate my old phone in order to help me. I'll not bore you with the details, but these employees could honestly care less, and they're not even pleasant. All could've been avoided had they simply done their job. I have NEVER experienced this lack of customer service at ANY Verizon all over the country in 15 years. Don't go. I made an appointment for 2pm and I got there at 150 and walked in, was not greeted by anyone.. Waited 5 min to be acknowledged by someone and was only greeted by an employee that walked in from their break and told them I had an appointment at 2pm and he told me just give him 5 min and he would be right with me. I went to have a seat and was looking at 3 employees just cracking jokes with each other and 5 min turned to 10 and they still did not even come to see if I needed help so I just walked out and left. They missed out on someone who was going to open a new account. Definitely do not recommend going to this location. read more

Yuri took care of my phone and while I was there, I heard interaction between the staff and customers. Honest to God, South Florida is NOT known for its polite people but everyone working at the North Miami Verizon store was wonderful to every single person that walked through the door. I stopped by this store on my lunch break to quickly see if they had any better plans for me. I was told by the gentlemen that checked me in that it would be a few minutes. ONLY because he said it would be a few minutes did I wait. 45 minutes later, I finally got helped. I told them that they should give realistic expectation times, as I would have never waited and wasted my lunch break, has I known that it was going to take so long. I was very upset, and my rep Michael Gauck said that he would speak to his manager about giving me a credit on my bill for the inconvenience, and would get back to me by 5p that day. Well, it has been about 4-5 days, and I still have not heard back from anyone. This store needs to get there act together! Very disappointed. I expect more from Verizon! read more

I have been a customer of this store since it opened. The quality of the staff has declined and whether you get good service depends on who you get. There is much less focus on giving the customer a good experience. I used to look forward to getting a new phone but now I dread going there. I recently tried to buy a new Samsung and they were out of stock. Due to surgery on knee I called yesterday before making the trip there and they still don't have the Samsung phone I want in stock. Worse, I left a message for the manager to call me so I could make arrangements to visit the store when it was certain they would have my phone. No call back. VERIZON OPEN ANOTHER STORE IN THIS AREA. This is absolutely the worst Verizon in Miami. I've been grandfathered into the company and if it wasn't for that I would take my services elsewhere. Everyone there is miserable, they hate their job, and they have no training in customer service. I was rushed and my issues were not dealt with.
