Our experience at this new location was one of the best we've had! It was a Saturday afternoon and we were taken care of as soon as we walked in the door, typically at other locations I've waited over an hour! The service was friendly and helpful and we did buy a new phone. After spending almost two hours on the phone with Apple Support struggling with lost Notes from my Contacts on my iPhone 7S, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new phone. My 7 was 2.5 years old and starting to go turtle-up, but as tired as I was of fighting with it, a trip to a Verizon office wasn't too high on my "happy" list. I love Verizon - I've been a customer for over 25 years - but their sales offices are disorganized, chaotic, loud, and generally tedious. At least in my native Michigan. But I needed a phone so I grabbed a mask and went to my local office. What an expectedly pleasant experience!! Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by my agent, Jason Larson, who was engaging, professional, and just top-notch. I ultimately chose an 11 Pro, and Jason assured me he could mirror every bit of data, setting, and nuanced eccentricity from my 7 to my new phone. I was highly skeptical because I'd heard this with every past phone upgrade and ultimately was forced to cobble together my old structure using my iCloud back-up and a heck of a lot of manual data entry. And I knew Jason wasn't starting with a fully-functional source phone. It took multiple attempts to get my old phone to play nice with my new 11, but when all was said and done, Jason kept his promise. My new phone is an exact duplicate of my 7 (except my 11 actually works reliably!). I could not be happier with my entire experience. Jason ensured my questions were answered, and I was comfortable with the many new features of the phone. And those features are pretty damn amazing! The video and audio improvements are fantastic! Love my phone and truly appreciate the phenomenal, personal service I received. Michigan offices need some customer service training and I've met just the gentlemen to fo it!! read more
