I have had a recent experience with a female that works at that store, who was extremely rude to me going through my FaceTime messages and asking if my son's phone was stolen. I was in tears because of all this because my husband has been breaking into my Verizon account as I allowed him in the for years using phones that were to sign into my iCloud and steal my identity. I recently left my husband, whose name is Jonathan Bradley because of emotional abuse I've been enduring for years. I went to the store to figure out why my pin was changed on my account and to verify my identity. I dealt with an extremely rude female who was going through my FaceTime messages when I told her what was going on with my phones? She was laughing at some of the messages that were coming through from my phone number, but also from my iCloud. Her and my husband were using the phone that I returned back in January that never got back there to sign into all my accounts and commit fraud. I've already reported this girl to the company as well as to the police. She told me I needed to sign into my son's phone to verify myself because my husband changed it so I was not able to verify with my phone his line my two sons lines could verify. The phone locked me out before I could even put all the numbers in for 15 minutes. She would not give me her name and told me I needed to pay a past due balance which they racked up by trying to upgrade my iPhone 15 that I returned in January for my current upgrade to another new phone exactly like the one I already have with the same phone number I proceeded to look on My Verizon account app at the bill and it was not a receipt for a bill it was a receipt for a purchase. It showed a gift receipt for a new iPhone error with a trade-in with a Apple iPhone 15. The manager saw this activity as this girl was fraudulently tricking me into paying for an activation of a new line. is extremely shady and you cannot even get a person on the phone when you call the phone number it brings you to their corporate line. I do not know this name but going to get it. I believe she is the only female that works there she darker skin with dark hair. Hurry, my husband have been committing fraud in my name for years. I am finally figuring out now what has been going on! My name was changed at the Social Security office ago. This all happened to me originally five years ago, and it almost took my power away. It was awful. All my financial accounts had been broken into and just recently. The same thing happened the day. I kicked my husband the house. I have proof with all the documents from Verizon of these activities being done. I need people to know about this so this never happens to anybody else! Women out there don't let any man ever take your power away! Do not trust people that you think are legitimate always keep your guard up. Worst customer experience ever with Verizon. I have had service for over 20 years and they definitely do not value their longtime customers. I placed two orders for a phone before Christmas for gifts and both have been screwed up in the shipping phases. On the chat line with Verizon for nearly 2 hours and no one can help me fix the error. So I saw Megan Fox at this Verizon Store yesterday when I went to purchase my new Android X phone, and I gotta tell ya, she's a helluva lot nicer and prettier in person than I expected. Ok, so her name was really Justine, and she was a sales rep that was helping me out as this was the nearest store to Boston that had an Android X in stock. Boston was totally sold out, and I really needed a new phone, and the very friendly store on Boylston Street checked around for me and located one in Salem, New Hampshire, 31 miles away. I'm from LA, so a 31 mile drive is like a drive to the local drugstore, so I shot up there faster than post-sneeze flem. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving AT&T after 12 years, but I am sick of blackberries and wanted a new funky phone. So I wandered into the store and saw this uber hotness of the Megan Fox variety, and was stoked to learn she was the one that was holding the phone for me. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and the kind of smart that makes guys like me feel totally inadequate like when I'm at hockey games where I don't know anything about the game, but all the other females in the ice rink know every detail of rule and jockstrap. Yeah, her hotness factor probably had something to do with me purchasing a car-lighter adapter when I don't even have a car on the east coast, but beyond that, she was a great sales person. There was also another associate, I think her name was Jamie, who was also helpful (and cute), and walked me through some of the options and accessories I should consider. A day later, I love this phone, and am glad to say there were was no buyer's remorse. Store was friendly, staff was friendly, and yeah, if the other Verizon stores are this cool, I'll be referrin a lot of future customers. read more

The reason I decided to stay with AT&T/Cingular is the Verizon Wireless store @ the Rockingham Mall. I don't know how a few of my friends and my own mother became Verizon customers thru this place...when even they admit to it being a catalyst for high blood pressure and I.B.S. If you'd like to see a cell phone store operate like a butcher, then shop here. You literally have to sign-in/take a number to see a staff person and then you're forced to wait amongst dozens of people who you don't even want to look at, let alone be rubbed up against as if you're on a crowded green line trolley. This store is worth avoiding at all costs. While upgrading a phone, they told me I could get a sim card for my Ellipsis Tablet at no cost. When I got my monthly bill, I was charged $40 for an activation fee. The salesperson absolutely lied to me and they would do nothing about it. Even dealt with the manager and was no help. This Verizon store is much better than Verizon kiosk, I'll tell you that much. Their sign-in system has gotten a lot better, and their wait-times are less painful than what they used to be (I know, having been a Verizon customer for almost five years). While the salespeople could have been more knowledgeable, at least they weren't rude to us. However, they could have told us ahead of time that we weren't due for an upgrade for another week, instead of forcing us to go through three different processes (set up access to the account, etc.) to get this information. I'd never thought I'd write a review for a business other than food. But I just had to leave a review after my pleasant experience. I was having issues with my iPhone and I was at the mall on a Sunday. I originally planned on going to Verizon on a weekday when it's not so busy. But when I walked by, I decided to find out the wait time. I was greeted by a very friendly woman who said it would be 20 minutes. I stayed. While waiting, the woman went out of her way to update everyone with their position on the wait list. She even offered us bottled water. Her estimate of 20 minutes was accurate and I was greeted by another kind employee. When I explained to him the issues I was having, he told me I should of gone to Apple since it's a technical issue. Although Verizon did not have the answers I wanted - I was impressed by the employees who go above and beyond. This review had to be written :) read more

So once I am done paying off my phone I am leaving Verizon for good I told them I did not like my phone and didn't want another one but they sent me the same damn phone replacement. And they slow your phone down so you have to buy a new one plus the fact the payments are way too much. As a long time Verizon customer and Samsung phone fan, I wanted to like this store, I really did, and the first time I went in a few months ago, Erica was very helpful in showing me the different Samsung phones including the Note with the stylus pen. So I ordered the new Samsung S10e a few days ago online and today when I needed help checking to make sure I backed everything up and it transferred correctly I was told by Mike that 'oh we don't do content transfers and I'm not going to babysit your phone", and then I mentioned I had the new S10e and asked what if wanted to switch to an S10 and he said before I could finish 'If you want the S10 and not the S10e there's $50 restocking fee. I hadn't even had a chance to say that I bought the phone directly from Samsung and was just trying to compare now that I had the S10e in my hand. I know it was a Saturday on Thanksgiving weekend, but I went to this store for help, and instead got no help, lots of attitude and a final 'I'm not being rude' after I said why are you being rude I'm only trying to figure out if my new phone is all set and I needed your help. So at that point I simply left and I went next door to Panera and did everything myself. Tomorrow I will travel to a Verizon store somewhere else and hopefully I will meet a polite, educated store associate that wants to help me and not turn me straight out the door. I don't want to 'do everything online' and I'm hoping that they could take a few nano seconds to treat a 20+ year customer like a human being and not a plastic machine. I'm hoping this location in Salem, NH can be fabulous, and maybe Mike was having a bad day and sick of holiday customers, but so far I'm not the least bit impressed. My experience with online and telephone Verizon for the last few days and was terrible. I spent hours trying to fix the problem. Each person has a different version of the problem. I finally in exasperation asked to cancel the order. So, I thought I was smart. Today at about 11:30 AM I drove to Salem. I tried to place an order. The sales person disappeared. He said he was going to be away for one second. I finally tracked him down and he said there was a problem. This could be fixed very quickly with the manager. It wasn't. The last phone call from the manager was almost 2 hours ago. I tried to call for this manager and was put on hold. Identified myself and have received no call back. It is now 3:33 PM. I have wasted four hours and I have nothing to show for it. It seems that customer service is an empty banner, unsupported promise. This facility treats my time as if it was disposable. I went to this Verizon store today cause my boyfriend FINALLY decided it was time to upgrade his dinosaur of 4 yrs (the orginial razor) yeah u heard me right a freakin razor...didn't even know those babies still existed did ya?lol Well anyways we checked in and we were number 10 which we thought was going to be forever. I remember days were I would walk in there and it seemed like a lifetime before ur number was called. But this time it went really fast and best of all we got this guy named John-Paul who was super helpful and extremely friendly and easy to talk to. It made waiting to get the phone all set up kind of fun and do I dare say enjoyable! I would love for Verizon to see this and have John get some credit for his fantastic customer service cause he def deserves it!:) read more

First off, both phones broke, i asked for an early upgrade a couple months away, rep on the phone after arguing got a supervisor, supervisor gave me the upgrades, sent me windows phones which ended up not being able to do what I needed...called them...rep said go to verizon store, and swap them for two Galaxy s5, the restock fee (since i had the windows phones under 4 hours) would be waived. I get there, and wait 30 minutes to be seen....finally seen by Rosa, i had to explain the situation 3x, finally she understood and then tells me i need to pay $70 to restock two phones..i said no the rep at verizon said itd be waived....she goes to her manager kyle who says hell waive the unopen one...i told them after all i been through...theyre both getting waived. so they tried to play mayor and enforce their rule....i called the corporate office in front of Rosa, and THAT rep told THEM they need to refund both restocking fees....it gets better.....so they just needed to do a return and replace .....90 minutes it took them to complete this....then they deactivated my current phones after i told them not too! I was going to take it home and do the activation myself.... While Rosa tried to get help from Kyle, he was too busy and gave her one worded answers, and it ended up both of them didnt know how to use these computer systems.... In my opinion....the fact they were that rude in the beginning and saw how frustrated i was and still gave me an attitude....they should both be fired. fire Rosa and Kyle, theyre helpless and dont know what customer service is. read more

The store is decent but I agree with the prior reviewer about the cattle hurding technique they have. My advice is to go to the one inside of BJ's Wholesale Club in Salem. They hook you up with a discount (even if you are not a BJ's member, but don't tell them I said that) and the people know what they are doing. Worst cell phone store in New Hampshire. I had problems with two Droid phones, one shut off and the other was losing connectivity to the network. The replacement phone given to me was manufactured poorly with a loose slider and a metal burr at the bottom so I asked for one that did not have this and the tech named Chris said no. Supervisor Matt came over and acknowledged the issue but would not exchange the phone so I told him to cancel my contract and then he gave me another phone. All of this could have been avoided if he had just exchanged the phone like I asked. At this point 2 hours had gone by so I expected a brand new phone without any problems. I tested the new phone he gave me and it had issues too, this time I showed Matt in the store and he quickly replaced it. The next phone had the same issues! We ended up going through 5 brand new Droid phones all of which were defective until we found one that worked correctly. At this point supervisor Matt started to listen to me instead of treating me like I was the problem. Everyone I know who goes into this Salem, NH store feels like it's a cattle farm where everyone is treated like a moron. Total time in the store was 3 hours which is ridiculous. I've worked in IT for 10 years and the customer service at this store left me feeling insulted, angry and most of all reconsidering choosing the Droid over the AT&T iPhone. At this store I felt not like a customer but instead an inconvenience which is unacceptable. read more

Would give this location 0 stars if possible. I was in Verizon, adding a line to the account on 2/12. The girl was very helpful and activated my phone in store and made sure the phones features worked. I went in 2/17 to upgrade a phone and was not only greeted by rude staff who were incapable of putting a phone screen on without bubbles and lint underneath, but they charged an activation fee for a phone they didn't even set up and just handed to us in the box! They claim it is their "new policy" to not set up any phones in the store. They say it's because we, their customers, told them that we didn't like the waiting in store for activation. So this is their solution to the wait times for activation apparently. Within five days their policy suddenly changed and no one cared to help me? They wanted to send me home with no working phones! Absolutely ridiculous and if there was a phone company with better service, you can bet I'd pay whatever cancellation fees and go with them instead! Never again, Verizon in the mall!!!! read more

They didn't make me buy the package when I purchased the phone, but it is now on my bill and they can't remove it. The verizon rep said that they might have made it a requirement after I got the phone. I was having an issue with my droid x. I had read online that this was a terrible phone. I had already gone through so many phones in the past. I used to hate going to this store because it was always busy. The tech line was 12 people deep. I thought for sure it would take all day. I saw one tech helping so many people. It was about every 5 minutes she was calling another name. I thought for sure she was just passiving everyone. But within no time that young lady hd called my name. Her name was Heather. Let me tell you. She didnt spend a long time with me like other techs have before and i didnt get anywhere. But when Heather helped me, not only was I in and out of the store. Purchased a Galaxy S5 after withdrawing from their edge program that the sales associate purposely pushed me toward leaving out critical info re what one is supposed to pay for a different phone after the 12 month period is up. They also charged me $250.00 with a rebate form for $50.00 rebate. The next day the price went done to $99.99 for the same phone and they would not honor that price when I complained.Therefore, I am warning all who see this to beware of their sales practices and read the fine print. read more

Have been to this store many times. Always crowded but the sales people are always friendly. I went on my last visit to get new phones for two lines I have. I was first told that my bill would only be around $3 more per line, per month. Then she told me my bill actually went down! Great!!! Well, not so much. Got my bill and it was $50 more!!!! They talk a good talk and tell you what you want to hear so you will get a phone and then you get SMACKED in the face with a big increase! The person that I spoke to at the 800 number of Verizon Wireless was very nice and helpful and got me onto a better plan but it is still costing me $17 more a month. I now realize that Verizon salespeople fall in the same category as the greasy, slicked back hair, used car salesman!!!! I have been a Verizon customer for sometime now and I have been working in the customer service industry for 10 yrs now and have to say, I got exceptional service today at the Salem NH location. I only had to wait 10 min, since there were 2 people ahead of me. I got paired with a sales guy named Nick( w/ red hair). I needed to trade in an IPhone 6 Plus for the regular IPhone 6. The General Manager Anthony saved the day by finding the iPhone I was looking to get out back. Anthony also over heard me talking about hockey with Nick to pass the time and hooked me up with with some Monarchs tickets. Nick was extremely helpful and was very patient with me through the whole process that took over an 1.5 hrs because I had to go to apple and update my account profile. He sold me a new case for my phone that I love. Overall it was a great experience and I hope Nick gets a pat on the back for a job well done and providing excellent customer service. read more
