If I could give 0 stars I would I came in to pickup a phone and when there was a problem with picking it up all the staff made zero attempts at trying to help with a solution. They only suggested me having to pay again for a new phone. I had to sit in the parking lot for half an hour with customer service and when customer service tried giving them a way into my account so I could get the phone they were rude and dismissed the CS rep on the phone who was actually very helpful. DO NOT come here a complete waste of time and possibly money because I still don't have the phone. read more

The service at this location is not good, idk if it's this new generation or what but the only friendly and diligent person that shift was a female, unfortunately she was busy with a customer. The gentleman that helped me acted like my online order wasn't ready, made me wait over 25 minutes just to walk out the storage room with the wrong phone.. after trying to activate it proceeds to tell me that I might have to come back tomorrow and pick it up.. mmm no.. My time is precious and if I would have known I was going to go through all that trouble I would've just gotten my item shipped out and delivered to me. Wow! Extremely HAPPY and IMPRESSED with John, Mario, and Adrian's help. I came into the store with frustration and disappointment from T-MOBILE. I express the problem I was having with my daughters phone. I was given options, but hesitant to switch since T-MOBILE was not able to resolve the issue. However, I made the switch and the problem still occurred, but John really took extra steps and reassure me "We will get it fix" I was exhausted after dealing with T-Mobile for over a day and not having the issue resolve I was convinced there was no fixing my daughter IPHONE SE 2 Gen. This store is not credible whatsoever and cannot be trusted for your Verizon services. Over the years this store has repeatedly misrepresented services and prices. Most recently I purchased a phone screen protector and was told that I could exchange it in store for a new one three times and the sales rep signed my receipt and added the managers name as it was per their policy. I go to replace it the first time, a few months later and the employee behind the counter says the other employee will help me (he was too busy on his phone), but eventually asks why I'm there. He nonchalantly tells me that they don't do that anymore and that those employees no longer work there because of it. He lazily adds that he can call his manager but it would probably be a no. Such an incredibly unprofessional store that do not cater to their customers, regardless of their own employees actions and verbal as well as written contracts with their customers. I can understand why the rating at this Verizon store is low. I have come here several times and always leave upset and disappointed. The employees can never resolve my problems or concerns. This is my local Verizon store so it is very disappointing to know that they can never help their customers with anything. I'm extremely frustrated with my experience there . I went to upgrade my phone for school during Covid my phone has been my blessing as a college student. I explained I want the 12 pro max with no insurance I understand if I pay one of month that's fine. As a college student and veteran I have to live with in a budget. I have two lines with Verizon and asked to not have insurance on 12 Pro Max. The sales associate said he understood and will only have to pay on month on one phone for the last month and it will be removed. 2 months go by not only is there insurance on my new phone but the other line as well. So I had to replace my phone a weeks ago. I was having trouble setting up the phone due to a PIN issue. When I called Customer Service, they advise me to go a store location. I arrived at this location and advise the Hispanic girl of the following: 1. I don't know my pin 2. I just got the phone with Customer Service 3. I don't have any other "devices" 4. I'm the only person on my plan The in-store rep try to help but....I notice she was delaying on purpose. Its ok, I understand...i work in this sector before. She kept on asking the same questions......"Do you have other devices?" No...and She looked at me like I was crazy.... What, everyone here needs to have 10 devices.... Then the rep says, she cant find me...but she was able to see about my devices was only 1???hmmmmm. the billing zip code has been the same for the past 10 years also...that was wrong too per the rep. I have been with Verizon for years now...and i hate going to the stores due to this. Everyone is on a different page. If you buy from the store...oh they love to deaf, but if you buy outside.....hmmm, whatever just call the Customer Service again. I have emailed District Manager & Verizon Corporation and no one has contacted me, so here is my very bad experience with this store... My sister that lives in Arizona is going through some financial issues. She couldn't pay her cell phone service because it was too high for her budget & she is in the middle of getting divorced. I told her that Verizon had a promotion of 4 lines for $35 each. So we decided to go this route. The Verizon store in South Gate is the closest to my house. When I got there I told the girl Jennifer Z that I wanted to switch over to Verizon & port in my 2 current lines and get 2 new lines for my sister and her son. I explain that I wanted to do the promotion of 4 lines for $35 but I needed hotspot on 3 lines. She explained it would be $10 more. So I agree. And because my son had an iPhone 6s I wanted to finance the new iPhone SE . She immediately started the process. She offered a bundle & she said that if I get the bundle I would get $150 rebate. I said yes. I thought I was going to choose a case but when I asked her about the case & screen protector she had already installed both items. A Good customer service representative would ask the customer, if it's ok for them to install & give them options on what cases are available & if there is one option on cases then tell the customer. But she didn't & now I know why. Since the screen was installed now it's non-refundable. Then she comes out with a post sales checklist on how much it's going to be. She told me to call 611 to have Them waive the activation due to the COVID-19, when I wasn't even disputing the activation fee. I signed & asked for a copy. Then she gives me my total $316 & I am under the impression this is for my first month of service. When I get the paper receipt it says VICTRA??? A little confused but I didn't ask her about it. Then I downloaded the Verizon app and I see next bill estimate $469 July 15-Aug 14. I am switching over to SAVE $ & my first month I have to pay $785??? So the next day after work I go back I question the bill to Jennifer & she said those are fees that the store charges. So I'm paying $20 for activation per line plus $30 for each new line that I added and I am getting a separate bill from Verizon that Jennifer never explained to me. WOW!!!! To top it off, at the bottom of the post sales checklist there is a Verizon customer rating that was already marked "10" and when I asked Jennifer why was it marked when you never ask for my opinion?? And all she said "that's nothing" then she highlighted the back of the receipt where it states "Set up and go plus are non refundable" that she never explain to me, in fact she never explained that those charges existed or what they where. She did tell me about the 14 days worry free & $35 restocking fee. I called 800 number for Verizon and I told them the fees your store charged me and they said that your sales representative should have explained it to me before signing me up & that's why it was better if I had gone to a corporate Verizon store. I am sooooooo disgusted & upset on how people like Jennifer screw customer like this.... This is so wrong!!!!! Why ????? I got charged $316 from your store & I only got $122 refunded .... not only did I get horrible service but you kept $194. I feel so ripped off. And I should get the rest of my money back. read more

Juan and Jorge well exceeded my expectations with any Verizon customer service that I have received. I decided to get a new phone that involved a trade in and we had some issues with transferring all text messages over and Juan and Jorge dealt with my case for HOURS to make sure everything was there (since I have alot of messages). When all things didn't transfer, they proceeded with trying the transfer again and we continued to wait a couple of hours again. Normally, I wouldn't had minded losing some messages but with some messages to people that passed, it mattered and I didn't care how long it would take. They had reassured me that this is the first time that had personally seen a transfer of messages not go through completely and they were determined to help. I completely trusted them with my phone that I asked another employee if it's possible if I can leave the phone overnight so they can make sure it transfers and they said yes. I went back to the day (day 2) and as soon as I walked in, they said it was a success and I'm so grateful for it. A job well done to Juan and Jorge! read more

After reading all the reviews on a Verizon store in South Gate on Firestone I was looking for another location I then realized I walked into that store I had just read bad reviews on, I'm so glad I did I was helped by a very kind gentleman Javier Guerrero he mentioned he was transferred from another location. It was great to take a chance on this store the service is great the new people are very helpful and go the extra mile for you Javier took time to provide details and helped me replace my phone and even helped me get some money for a phone I thought needed to be trashed. Thank you Javier,his coworker was a very nice young lady Rosa who assisted as well. I will for sure be sending other family and friends over to this store keep up the good work!!! I never intended too be the kind of person who intentionally went on line to post a bad review. I usually say you know what its sad that you only feel like leaving a review due to a bad experience, so for the most part i would chalk it up too "if you have nothing good too say dont say anything" Having said that this place is Not trustworthy! Horrible experience and crooked sales men.... I went into the store for an early upgrade in febuary which to my understanding only requires the old phone to be turned in. That was not the case after 2 and a half hours of calculations that didnt make any kind of sense and completely frustrating back and fourth from the sales rep. And the shift supervisor they walked me to the center of the store and said we can add a plan and it will be cheaper just need you too cancel your old line. I said thats fine i give in, but at sum point they decided that canceling the previous order didnt matter so not only did i pay 280 for two phones that didn't need any kind of down payment they never cancelled the charge for the first phone which was billed later on in the year. They said for your wait, we will throw in free stuff like phone cases and aux wires.... By this point i was feed up so he folded my reciept and i left with frustrated wife and children. Down the line i have too fix the extra phone charge issue and i look at the reciept in which the $20 accessories were charged with another 140 dollar fees which were never supposed to be charged. In total i spent $400 on phones that verizon assured me were meant to be free. Im not a negative and vengeful person but that was not right in all honesty i will never ever return to that location. BUYER BEWARE LOOK AT YOUR RECIEPT AND ASK FOR THE CHARGES TO BE BROKEN DOWN THESE GUYS ARE PROS AT THIS KiND OF THING. They dont deserve even one star but thats the lowest it can go. read more

And this is Mexican guy told me that the machine was not working and that he was going to send me my receipt at my email. Worst Verizon store I've ever been to! There rules are ridiculous! I was trying to add two lines with new phones to my account and the associates said I could not just purchase the phone by itself. I had to get the bundle which includes a case, charger, screen protector and phone. Which was like $200-$300 more on top of the phone which cost $1000. I let the associates know I didn't not need any of the extra items I just want the new phone by itself. They said that they cannot sell me a phone by itself that they only sell phones in bundles. I then said I did not want to proceed, left the store and called Verizon. Apparently they are not a corporate store so they get to make up their own rules. I know the associates were just don't there jobs but this store lost two phone sales for having such a ridiculous rule. They are just trying to force customers to buy accessories that we don't need! So many policies and shady sale practices going on in this place. It was interesting to note that in this day and age you cannot buy a phone in full inside a store but per Verizon policy you are required to leave a balance at least for 1 billing cycle, sounds like an excuse just to run your credit, even if it's just a soft inquiry. So I came in trying to switch carriers and purchase an iPhone Max pro. I was told right off the bat there was a very limited amount of phones. First there was NO 64g iPhone only 256g, as I started to discourage the purchase it seemed like the 64g phones started to magically appear in stock. So I proceed with the purchase and again since I cannot pay for the phone in full per Verizon policy, they are required to run your credit to finance the phone. Get this! Without asking me The verizon rep starts to scan accessories (phone case, charger, screen protector, etc.) and says that as part of the purchase per "Verizon policy" I'm required to purchase over $100 worth of accessories in order to buy the phone!!! Just wow! At that point I just had enough and walked out. What a garbage place, be careful when going into Verizon stores that are "Authorized Retailers", lookup "Verizon Company Store" Save yourself the hassle. read more
