If you want to hire someone with absolutely no social skills, no customer service skills, who reluctantly does the bare minimum, who makes it painfully obvious he hates his existence then Andres is your man. There was no one at the store when I entered except for one lone guy just sitting forlornly staring at the exit. No smile. That's fine. No greeting.. hm maybe he doesn't work here. We just stare at each other for a while and then someone (maybe a manager) peeks around the corner and the lump decides to put his phone away and finally at a snails pace decides to get up. He mumbles, he shrugs, he yawns so wide til I see down his throat and basically offers no help for my screen besides "just file a claim" there was no follow up. At one point, Verizon even made me drive two hours to Reno for an appointment, only for the iBreakUFix store (that Verizon sent me to) to tell me they couldn't do anything about storage. I drove all the way back home with no solution, and then was told over the phone that the only fix was to upgrade to a brand-new phone and pay even more money -- even though my phone is already brand new. Finally, I went into my local Verizon store and met Jennifer. In less than 10 minutes, she solved everything -- for free. She cleared up the storage issues that no one else could fix, and on top of that, she removed all the unnecessary extra charges I had been paying for the past month. Jennifer is amazing. Went into the South Lake Tahoe Verizon store and received the absolute worst customer service from a blonde girl who was working there. I needed to get a new phone and she asked for the phone number. When she gave me the name on the account, it was wrong. We tried to discuss it with her and she immediately became rude and assumed we were trying to argue with her. She had an attitude problem and is a very poor representation of the kind of service and company Verizon is. All other Verizon sales associates in other stores I have visited are so kind and helpful. The new manager was very helpful today. I think his name is Alex if I remember correctly. I came in to get my screen protector replaced (lifetime warranty) and he originally mentioned that is normally done through the accessories company and not at the store. I let him know the person who sold it to me neglected to mention that and told me it had a lifetime warranty and could be replaced at anytime. He said he has an extra in the back and wanted to make it right. I very much appreciate his service and installation of the new screen protector to cover the warranty issue. I just switched from at&t and got locked out of my Verizon account right when the switch happened. Since this is not an actual Verizon store they kept giving me the Verizon customer service number which kept looping back to the beginning over and over until it would just disconnect. After 2 frustrating days I went back to the store to explain support number is a joke and wtf do I do?! I need my phone for both of my jobs so I was panicked. An associate by the name of Daniel told me the only option was to travel out of town to the corporate locate. He agreed to listen to try to call the support number himself and encountered the same issues that I was. However, Daniel went above and beyond to help me actually unlock my account, finish setting up my account and sorting out the payment with the other person on my contract and getting everything handled without having to leave the mountain. He's been the most helpful associate at this store every time I've gone in. I'll buy him an Oreo shake as a tip every time he's working and I go in there because he's that awesome read more

We stopped in today because my husband's phone was pretty smashed up on 50 after falling off the bumper of our truck- don't ask me how that happened! Geo greeted us as soon as we walked in. There were no customers at the time we arrived (Sunday 12 pm). Geo was helpful, informative and efficient. He helped my husband get set up with a new phone - 14 max pro. I found out I was eligible for an upgrade and decided to upgrade my old phone as well. Except mine took much longer to transfer the info directly to the next phone (1 hour). Long story short. Geo was great. He's not an employee of the store but just filling in (he's from Reno). Got us both set up with everything and let feeling pretty happy. His colleague was also wonderful - didn't get her name though, but she's blonde long hair and a local Tahoe native. Both were very helpful, personable, and provided great customer service! While we were there, I noticed his colleague would greet each customer and introduce herself to ask if they needed help. It was just refreshing to see that great customer still exists! read more

I went into Verizon about two weeks ago at opening and was greeted by a young lady that was in training and she was extremely nice to deal with and was being very helpful, I had unfortunately lost my phone to the depths of Lake Tahoe and needed to get a new one. In steps her manager another young lady and asked me right away if I was on the account to authorize a replacement for a new phone. I told her my wife was the primary and I think I was on the account to pull it up please. She informed me that if I was not on the account that my wife would have to come down and she would not be able to help me at all ! Her attitude just caught me off guard and set me back so I told her to please just pull up the account and we can find out. She goes to do so and she could not even do so because she ( THE MANAGER TRAINING THIS NICE GIRL) never logged into the the computer before the business was open at ten am and was now trying to. She then told me I had to wait for her to login, well she had me wait for ten minutes and was unable to do so and told me she had to call her boss and I would have to come back later to purchase a new iPhone 12 ! My wife went in today to return a charger that we bought in Reno when we bought a new iPhone 12 at the Verizon location there where we were treated extremely nice. My wife once again was greeted by a women w/a serious attitude and my wife asked to have a receipt and was told they are not allowed to give a paper receipt and was told she would be emailed a receipt within a few minutes! It never happened so my wife called the lady back and she told her she didn't have the email and she said to come back and she did and the lady had to call her boss to get permission to print up a email paper receipt to give to my wife ! Several back-and-forth messages with this store including here and no followup from them. Our experience was not good at this store when we went in to buy a new iPhone, was given a trade in value of $800 for my GF's phone but they were out of stock on the phone we wanted and we were temporarily in South Lake. The employee - a younger girl - suggested we might look closer to our home in the Bay Area but neglected to tell us the $800 tradein was a limited time promotion. When we got home, 8 days later, we discovered the amount offered was half that - $400 - which, had their employee done their job correctly, would have had a different outcome. Of course, responding here AGAIN, given this store's track record, will likely generate no response and proposed solution to this issue AGAIN which simply is not the customer's fault. Bad training, careless employee, whatever. This was damn poor customer service which will result in our leaving Verizon after many years with this service. In order to get my lifetime warranty for it I need the box! I left the store trusting them I could register it with the receipt and that not the case! U need the code on the box to get your warranty! My family decided to switch our cell service from ATT to Verizon. We went in person to this store. We were told at the onset that Verizon had a great promotion and we decided to switch. We were duped badly! We were told that our trade-in for our iphone 8's would be $500 per phone, we were told we would received a Mastercard worth $400. All we had to do was send in our old phones to Verizon and the credits would show up on our statement. Turns out we only received $200 per phone and no Mastercard ever showed up. We repeatedly tried to get the store to honor what they promised to no avail. We were out of luck. So to sum up our experience, we were told a bunch of lies to get us to switch plans, and now we are stuck paying for the expensive iphones they sold us and a very expensive plan. This business plan they sold us stated we had to have 5 lines. Turns out we only needed 4 lines, but we are stuck paying for 5 lines, one of which is an ipad that does not work (also from Verizon).
