I just returned home from college and decided to make the switch while visiting a friend on Cape--I gave up after hearing the three male employees gossiping about another customer (or coworker? I don't know who they were talking about) like a group of school girls. Rather than approaching me to assist me in a store that is literally 4x4, they carried on with their conversation, pretending like I was invisible. I walked right out without making the switch.

She wanted to remove the 4G and just use the more predictable wifi. The employee told us he could not help. - The second time I had to return a Verizon wifi router from my closed account. I was told that only some stores accept returns and he sounded glib as he told me the nearest one was 30 miles away. I had to call up the 800 number to find out I could use a Fedex store NEXT to the Verizon store. In both circumstances, the Verizon employee actions were one that said: "Not My Job".

I had a simple request to help me with my phone and I have been a Verizon customer for years. They refused to do anything for me that did not involve buying a new phone. When I asked for a manager he was even more rude and dismissive when i told him how disturbing my expereince with his co worker was. The manager ordered me out of the store and called the police to report me, indicating I was a danger to the staff. I am 80 years old. How much of a danger could I have been? This happened two years ago and I have never forgotten it and was too upset about what happened to even write a review. I reported this store to the MA Attorney General's office of consumer affairs and to the special departent that handles concerns from seniors. In the course of this I discovered that this is not an official Verizon store at all but simply some type of a franchise. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! THERE ARE TWO EXELLENT VERIZON OFFICIAL STORES IN ORLEANS BOTH OF WHICH HIRE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS STAFF. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS THERE. Laurie N.
