Went to upgrade my phone, also my husband wanted to speak with business rep about his business line. Brandon was helping us and kept trying to tell my husband what he should do with his business line. My husband told him multiple times, that he needed to speak with business rep about his line because non business reps have tried to help him before and it didn't turn out good. Brandon ended up throwing a fit saying "he can't help a customer that doesn't want to help himself" and walked away and left us with another rep. On April 18 our fiber optic cable failed and the Verizon technician Kyle was at our rural home earlier than promised the next morning. He laid over 1000 feet of cable and installed a new exterior junction box within about 3 hours. His cheerful attitude and ability to answer all of our questions was greatly appreciated. Today I went in for an upgrade from my iPhone 12 to iPhone 15 pro max. Brandon was an absolute professional. Straight to the point comparing prices from my current plan and breaking the numbers down to what my new plan would be. Did not feel whatsoever that I was talking to a salesman. If you come in for an upgrade, watch, accessories or to become a new customer of Verizon, I Highly recommend Brandon to be the specialist you talk to. read more

5G? No. It's LTE more than half the time.. Support? It's the worst you can get. Will they try to sell you what meets your needs? No, they wanna keep talking to their coworker and nab the commission. When looking for a new phone they tired to sell me a four year old iPhone with the lowest storage, at full price. Yikes, at least profile me correctly... Asked for a newer model with more storage, then asked the employee to not add the insurance, they added it anyways. I unsubscribed from their marketing text messages, I still get them, unsubscribe every time. Yet still... I keep getting them. The spam isn't appreciated. Will be switching banks soon. The staff was horribly slow and too focused on commission over customer needs. Version itself is a bad company. From the phone service hardly working to the employee's ethics, it's all bad. Sorry for the reiteration, make sure to stay hydrated. The five star reviews are false information, fake and misleading. Got a notification in the Verizon app about an upgrade deal they were offering us. But the app was having issues so it told us to go into a store for help. At the store the employee kept telling us to use the app to get the deal. I spent an hour in the store trying to figure out how to get the app to work with the employee giving no helpful advice except to keep trying on the app. Isn't the whole point of having a physical store is so that i don't have to figure things out myself?? I can not say enough about the level of customer service in this store. Every sales associate and manager that I have done business with has been so educated and helpful but more importantly, genuine. If you would rather do things online (like me) but need the convenience of a store near by, you will not be disappointed... unless you have a bad attitude when you walk in. Really wish it was possible to give zero stars. This is the closest Verizon store to my house. I've been there multiple times over the past few months. This location is understaffed and any customer service reps are rude and indifferent. It takes multiple visits to resolve any issue. read more

Very rude and dismissive over the phone. I understand when stores get busy and are short on time for certain situations, but common decency & being polite should never be affected by that. Especially when the customer is calling for important info about a transaction done at said store. read more

My credit card info was compromised and I tried to use their app to update my account. It didn't work and the website wouldn't allow me to access account. I called into their call center and was put on hold for over 3 hours before hanging up and trying different numbers... still haven't been able to talk to anyone about my account. I do not recommend Verizon based on their poor customer service. read more

It should be ILLEGAL to charge someone to use your wireless service and throttle them down to .01-.11 mbps. I understand the whole deprioritization on the GoUnlimited plan if I am in a congested area, but .05-.11 is absolutely ridiculous. A phone with those speeds is useless. Bye Verizon. Verizon cable and internet is the absolute worse!!!! Our first time with this company and it has been a nightmare, they are really good at selling you their packages and internet services as soon as you get started everything goes downhill, we had no internet for an entire week, we ordered the preferred pkg and it's day number two and we still have no access to the channels, their customer service representatives have no idea how to help us fix this problem.they keep saying it will be ready in an hour and keep transferring us to different representatives with no solution, we are now at 24 hours and still no service, mind you we just paid almost $230 for this service, absolutely ridiculous!!! We are def. considering going to direct tv!!! We will never ever recommend Verizon fios or the internet they are terrible and pricy!!!! read more

I remember a time when upgrades were free and customer service was first. Instead of offering to ship my phone back after upgrading, I'm offered a box to ship it myself and print the labels online or contact customer service via phone. When I contact customer service online they are amazed and literally say how lazy the in store reps are because they should have handled this for me. Wow. I have no clue what's worse, the customer service crazy or the rising vzw bills. Can I go back to a pager now?! Ugh. read more

If you need help understanding your bill, go elsewhere. If you need help with a device that is not working properly, go elsewhere. If you want to talk to a manager that wants to keep your business, go elsewhere. If you want to talk to a manager who does not have an attitude, go elsewhere. If you want to see associates smiling and greeting you with a smile and saying hello, go elsewhere. BUT, if like to be treated like you don't matter, then you are in the right place. and if you don't care that they don't want to help you or keep you as a customer, then you are in the right place. this store is filled with employees who DO NOT CARE. They don't know how to smile, greet you or make you feel like you matter to Verizon. this store has gone down the crapper over the last year and I believe it is a direct result of the poor management that is in there. I had T-Mobile when I first moved here it had absolutely no service outside my house and the only reason I had service there was because they sent me a signal conditioner that hooked into my Verizon Fios wifi. So I went to Verizon to switch over my service and first delt with Kaitlyn. Right off the bat she said it wasn't going to work with the phone I had because T-Mobile uses different software than Verizon. We tried it anyway and it didn't work. She said she had no hope from the beginning. I went in today planning on buying new phones and starting a plan with them because I couldn't stand not having service. This time I delt with Kevin (or Scott as it says on his business card but says Kevin on his name tag) he was awesome! I explained to him that I had my own devices and that i wanted to use them on Verizon service. He said it usually doesn't work but he tried anyway and actually got them to work! As I said I was planning on buying new phones so I wasn't worried about the ones I had so the batteries were low. Even though I kept having to charge them so he could do hi job, he remained very professional and saves me tons of money. Kevin was great to work with! I would recommend anyone but Verizon Fios. We switched from comcast because Verizon said their service was better, faster and cheaper. Not true. Our bill is always changing and is definitely not cheaper than comcast. We were supposed to have frees premium channels for a year according to our salesman and our contract and every other month they tried to charge us for them. Also promised a $400 gift card and a tablet for signing up. Of course we didn't receive either. We've had to call customer service more times than I can count. They are not knowledgeable or helpful. I finally got to the point when they finally answered my call all I would say is "supervisor please" . They of course would try to argue and i would just repeat supervisor. When I finally got to a supervisor he or she would fix our bill, finally sent the gift card and tablet 5 months after signing only to have to go thru the same thing again in 2 months.We've had Fios for over a year now, we've had technicians to our house at least 5 times. Never with comcast. We did have one tech come out that knew what he was doing. Internet is slow, cable goes out all the time. We now have hbo and showtime, not for long tho. When I go to on demand a lot of the shows are not free, they want to charge for every episode, even on network channels. Comcast NEVER tried that scam on us. Now I just go to Netflix or Amazon and watch my shows for 10 bucks a month and no extra charges. At $1.99 per episode can you imagine what it would cost to binge watch The Shooter? If I can save one person from the scam that Verizon Fios is then I've done my due diligence. Our 2 year contract is up in a few months and we are giving Verizon the boot and switching to at&t. I wasn't crazy about comcast at all but verizon certainly made them look good. In conclusion don't believe the hype that Verizon will give you about how great they are, they aren't. Worst Internet/cable company experience of my life,and I'm 53 so I've seen a lot. If I could give minus 5 stars I would but apparently I have to give them one. read more
