The customer service was great. The problem was that they didn't have phone service in which they had to use my phone to call customer service. Usually when you upgrade to a new phone, most of the time the service gets better, but not this time. So we went to return the new phone because the reception was really bad. So received a credit back minus the $40.00 activation fee (even though online states that the activation fee being $35.00) and minus $50.00 restock fee. Came here yesterday to trade in our old phone due to dropping it in water. Walked out with the top of the line phone AND internet. The associate and manager were super attentive and helpful. It was told to us as part of the sales pitch that we would only get $400 back once we were ready to trade it in. Later it was "you probably will only get $200 back, but you have 30 days." Today we went in and it was a different story. There is no credit for the phone. This almost feels like a bait and switch. Such a bummer since the original interaction yesterday was so positive that today's experience tarnished it. No fault to the gentleman who was working today as he did not help us originally. The feedback for the manager here is don't say something is possible as part of a sales pitch unless you research and truly know that it is. At least 50% of local business is through word of mouth and as business owners ourselves we know that honesty and integrity are a vital part to the success of any business. Verizon wireless exhibiting unethical practices and causing stress to consumers. 1) upon canceling the contract Verizon wireless charges exorbitant charges to unnecessarily harass customers who cancel the contract within 30 days of trial. 2) Verizon wireless took the consumer phone not paying the agreed value and did not even return the phone upon contract cancellation within 30 days. 3) Verizon wireless send bills for the returned phones to the Verizon store and the retail store. Upon calling customer service they give a reference number but never corrected the charges. They are sending bills / calling threatening consumers that they will send the bill to collection agencies misusing the SSN provided to them initially when signing the contract. As per the contract, customers are allowed to cancel services without any penalty within 30 days. I have all the receipts of phones returned and also emailed it to Verizon customer reps and even then they are not fixing the bill. In fact they keep on adding late charges and causing anxiety and harassment. read more

This store is FOS. I went in to get my transfer pin number so I can switch/transfer to a different carrier and the manager and employee flat out wouldnt give it to me. They lied and told me my personal pin was the transfer pin. I knew they were lying. They also told me the phone I wanted to buy was not 5G (also a lie) and tried to upsell me an ihpone mini which was tiny and not what I wanted for $400. The other carrier offered me the iphone i wanted for $100 but I cant get it without the transfer pin to transfer my number. Had I tried, I wouldve been out the money for the phone AND lost my phone number. SCAMMERS I WILL BE CONTACTING VERIZON HEADQUARTERS TO COMPLAIN AND AND MAKE SURE THEY LOSE THEIR FRANCHISE. Don't recall the name of the young lady nor the young guy that helped us with the process. This all started with his reaction after she told him I had a business account. He responded with , "What??? No!" then said something like those are so complicated. Since they did not have Iphones, I purchased a Samsung. At the same time, I was bringing over a number from another account and I was also told I was given a temporary phone number but I would be able to switch my number at any time. I called in the next day and was told I had to pay the full amount of the phone. Why lie? Just tell me the truth so I can make a decision. I could have paid it in full if need be but I also have a business account with a sizeable credit limit so why not use it? I get it, you needed to make your commission. Don't come to this store. They will give you wrong information just to make a sell. I was looking for a hotspot to do remote videoconferencing calls on the go. The worker name Bryce told me I can get the Verizon Gateway, that all I had to do was plug it in anywhere and I can get WiFi. It was definitely what I was looking for. This was back in December. Now in April. I began to have unstable connections and decided to call customer services they brought to my attention that the device is only meant for the address on file. That was not what originally I was told. The customer service recommended for me to take it to the store. I get to the store and Bryce is the only one there I tell him, I am returning the device as it is not what I wanted and that he gave me the wrong information. Since it is now May and passed there 30/90 day, i was told I can not return it even when Verizon customer service told me to come to the store. I ask to speak with the manager. Ofcourse he would not be available until 2 days after and only between 2-5pm. I asked to make a phone appointment as I am not able to come in person. Bryce confirmed that he will have the manager call. I asked Bryce for the store phone number so I can follow up. I did not get a call from the manager and the number Bryce gave me was for Verizon not the store. Waisted my time and money on this store. Gives Verizon a bad name. I have been with Verizon for over 15+ years and I am highly considering changing providers based on this experience. read more

I Visited the store today and received amazing service. Andrea was so knowledgeable, gave great tips and overall just went over any beyond for us. She transferred everything for me on my new phone. The store did not have an item I wanted in stock she found it quickly and had the item held for me at a nearby store to ensure we got everything we wanted. She stayed well passed her shift. Worst experience ever. Lesson learned after all of this. Went in to buy iPhone. Was told about a bogo sale where you get an iPad with a small fee (to pay off) every month by purchasing the new iPhone... Sales rep was very informative. But she left a lot of fees out of the picture. Once I received my bill from Verizon it was too late to go back and return because of their 14 day policy rule. Was that really fair? Today marks day 19 and I'm so infuriated, seems like I should have not given so much trust on this particular sales rep at this location. And now I'm paying the full price over 450 bucks on an iPad that's value comes out to about 320 bucks (retail value). (Money I'm going to have to owe from my credit card) Very disappointed. Annoyed. I had a serious issue with my Samsung 9+ after downloading the latest update. My phone would not restart and I had a message that said I would lose all my data, it was the only way I could make my phone work again. My biggest concern was my photos, going back years! Then Mike came to the rescue, not only did he save ALL MY DATA, he recommended installing a SIM card so that my pictures would be saved there and my internal storage would be secondary. I am so happy I decided to stop and get help at this store. They really do have an on-site Android expert. Way to go Mike! read more

(Iphone 6s & Samsung galaxy s9) which he had just bought a coulpe months back its was still pretty new. We get 4 new phones and a tablet. They told us that the trade in will take place the week after and will reflect on the next month bill. Its been so many months and I go back to ask what happenes they dont have a record of us doing a trade in at all!!! 750.00 dollars down the drain.(what our phones were worth) They stole from us. This review is almost 4 months overdue because I visited it back in December. Thats how long its taken to clear up the multiple mistakes caused by a few staff members at this store. Let's start with Andrea. She knows phones. And she knows deals. But she completely botched my whole order when it came down to what she entered in to the system on her end. She took advantage of me being on my lunch break and me wanting to get my girl a phone by overcharging me almost $250. She also lied and said it was the last day of a deal. I mean I knew that was an old sales pitch that people stopped using because things can easily be verified via internet these days, but like I said I was on a time crunch that I mistakenly made her aware of. But still, WHY LIE? So I took her word for it, and thats on me. But at least I can do my part in warning future visitors that she's sneaky. Personable when she greets and helps you, but sneaky. We call people like that "shady". She really didn't show any kind of remorse when I visited the store to clear up some of the issues. She knew she messed up, but she couldn't apologize and own up to it. She walked right past me without saying a word, and sat her scary self in the back room the entire time I was there. That's fine, some people can't admit when they're wrong or they messed up, so I get it. After 3 months of dealing with corporate, I was able to get these errors fixed. I saw someone praising her efforts in another Yelp post, so good for her, but I'm not one to lie about my experiences with people. Another gentlemen at this location was also just terrible to deal with. His name I cant remember for the life of me.. Real immature young dude, you'll know who I'm talking about if you ever visit the location and deal with him. He really didn't give a s*** when Verizon got him on the phone to go over the errors they made. Even the rep from Verizon was shocked at how poorly the staff at this store communicated. Just a real young, immature and unprofessional bunch. Carlos was helpful. Carlos was the ONLY helpful person at this location. I think he's a supervisor or store manager so thankfully for this location, they have Carlos. Dealt with him in person on my second visit. Like I said, I visited this location in late December, and I've finally gotten all of the errors cleared up. The overcharge was only one of MANY issues that took months and a bunch of account credits for Verizon to resolve. Safe to say I'll never visit this location for a phone. read more

I went in wanting a new phone, and when I came everything In the store was sanitized. I can tell because right when I walk in the door there is hand sanitizer waiting for you, on top of that I saw the employees wearing masks wiping down all the surfaces to disinfect. Rodrigo helped me find the phone I wanted and helped me pick the plan that worked best for me. He also let me know that my account had a promotion, which lowered my monthly bill. My husband is a car salesman & I used to work at Verizon, so we always have our guards up and question everything when we come into any kind of sales store, & we can immediately tell if we're just being talked into buying unnecessary items. Well that was definitely not the case with Andrea. She noticed our bill was pretty high for our huge family and was able to help us lower our bill, all while adding the iPad we came in for, AND the brand new iPhone for my husband. DO NOT use this store. I ordered a tablet for my son last night and he has been in the store for over 2 1/2 hours. They will not release the tablet because they keep saying the pin for the account is not working, even though it works on Verizon's end. They have other customers with the same problem and keep saying "change your pin". Ridiculous. I have spent too much time on the phone with Customer Care trying to get this straightened out. Went to Verizon retailer today on foothill in sylmar. My phone was not sending or receiving texts or phone calls. The store manager said she couldn't help because my phone was a samsung 4g and since 5g phones were out my 4g was obsolete and could not be supported by carrier. She said i needed an upgrade. I decided to get a second opinion so I went to a Verizon company store in panorama city. They put in a new Sim card and it works perfectly. It's a shame that the store manager an employee of the third party Verizon store employee would lie just sell a phone. Disgusting. read more

I will acknowledge that Carlos worked really hard to resolve the problem. I returned at a different time and opened my own account got a new phone, he also sold me a hot spot. When I realized it was not as helpful or as needed. I tried to return it but he was never around and the other office employees told me that he was the only person that could help me. Finally when I found at the store a made an appointment because I could not take care of the problem then. He does not show up! This place has horrific customer service !! Walked in to purchase a few items and get three new lines of service . I was ignored and treated with zero respect. The place was not very clean or organized. The staff couldn't even tell me if they had the items in stock when I asked . Whomever is the owner needs a serious overhaul! New management and new staff! The two young men working today appeared unconcerned and like they were in being grounded instead of paid to assist customers !
