"I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THOSE PEOPLE" - Verizon customer service representative, 06.13.2014. After a lengthy conversation with a couple Verizon costumer service representatives during which they contacted the goons at this store, that was their recommendation for my future Verizon needs. ONE: I'd like to point out this is NOT a Verizon wireless corporate store. What this means is that the crooks at these locations exert different policies and regulations than corporate Verizon stores do. What this means is they are free to charge you however much they want for whatever they want. What this means is they are able to make changes to your account if they feel like it. What this means is that they are able to flagrantly get away with stealing money from people and Verizon can't do anything about it, because their corrupt operation is independent from corporate. TWO: It is a shame that the Verizon brand can be easily associated with places and people like this. Thanks to a couple helpful Verizon customer service reps I was informed that I was unnecessarily charged for a SIM card, when, in fact, these are FREE at corporate Verizon stores. SIM CARDS ARE FREE AT CORPORATE VERIZON STORES. As he leaned on the register for support, the goon behind the counter dribbled on about how my phone cost a certain amount, when in fact he was charging me for a new SIM card. (I didn't need a new one). Then he went on, while trying to catch his breath, about how I should pay almost double the cost of the phone in restocking fees if I wanted to return it or exchange it. Why? Because once again I would be charged for my own SIM card. (He was not telling me this, btw). Incidentally, I'm still waiting for the transaction receipt I was told would be emailed to me. I'm guessing the email was never sent because it might include a breakdown of what I was actually charged for. (For future reference, you don't make a customer write down personal information such as email on a post it note, just to let that post it fall on the ground and dismiss it like I didn't notice. I know it's an effort, but a jog around the block once in a while would make those bend and reach moments a little more bearable). Then again, effort would appear to be self-serving only at this store. THREE: If for whatever unfortunate reason you find yourself doing business at this place, take all the time you need to flesh out things you don't understand. DO NOT be fooled or intimidated by the fast-talking, dismissive, and incompetent brand of customer service they eek out. Do some research and be well informed before heading in here, lest you're approached by an ignorant sales-slave trying to push the biggest phone/tablet down your throat when she doesn't even know its specs, how much it costs, or any of her own stores policies. When quoted a price for anything insist they break it down in front of you, in paper, then take that paper and compare it at other Verizon stores. Or even check with a Verizon customer service rep. You'll be glad you did, and most likely you won't be coming back. Business practices like these are desperate and, needless to say, unfair. Illegal? I was at first shocked to see a 5-star review for this place; these people won't even greet you as you walk in the door! However, I soon realized there are only two reviews, and most likely these are employees, or sheep buddies of the staff. One thing I am glad is that these pathetic reviews include the names of these idiots. Take the time to find a corporate local store near you. Even if they happen to offer you an unpleasant experience, they will at least be accountable to a higher up and you will most likely end up satisfied. read more

My flip phone from Verizon, hinge broke after 4 months that I bought from Verizon in Burbank Media Ctr. I went there first and had a horrible experience with a sales person so I found this location in Sylmar where I live. I talked to Mallely C and she was just wonderful. She assisted me in buying a new phone, a Kyocera Duraforce Pro. which I had seen listed. She transferred all of my contacts and pictures which the person in Burbank would Not do. She asked if I had any questions and I had many as this was my first smart type phone. She was very patient and took her time which I appreciated. I been coming here for 3 to 4 years and I always get the help I need...if you have a problem they don't just help you, they give you options and suggestions that will benefit you or help you with you situation. They never scam you and they never push a sale on you. Robert and his employees aways have to to help you!...the people who give them bad reviews are cheap people who aways expect somthing for free. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Roxana Palacios was an extremely blessing, she took the time to analyze my account and give me details about my bill. I came in just to ask about my data plan and I walked out with two phones, one tablet, and a little device for my car, which let me tell you it's been helping A LOT. My phone abruptly gave up yesterday afternoon. The last thing I wanted to do was spend another evening at Verizon being oversold & underserved. I had no choice, though, so off I went. My time there was unlike any other Verizon experience. Fabulous!! Manager Alex was remarkable, particularly because he listened. I am such a satisfied customer with my phone, tablet, and more! I'm 66 yrs. old and non tech savvy. I don't do well with manuals. It seems that I need a hundred repetitions to understand something new. Verizon Sales Manager, Alex, is patient, friendly, and simplifies the complex for me. Teachers, representatives, others either explain with words I don't understand or talk faster than I can listen. They deserve more than five stars!! Went in today with my son who has a broken phone he was pretty upset but luckly we had insurance, the assistant manager helped us file the claim do to the fact that we had no clue on how to do it. She made the process so quickly we were out of there in less than 5 mins. She also said we can come back and she would help us set up his new phone once it came in. A really good place get good reliable service. Y previous phone service promised me a lot of services and a whole range of service through out the area. FALSE!!!!!!!! I came in asking a specific question, Aaron and his staff went out of their way to call other members and make sure that what ever they where saying was correct.
