I called Verizon support that is overseas and spent 45 minutes with an agent. Realizing she could not help me I went went to the store and spoke with Asif. Their billing service is the absolute worst. Bought iPhones and wireless service recently. Signed up for auto pay using new Verizon Visa cards. Multiple phone calls with Verizon and every payment is a problem. The use a third party payer Synchrony, but they never mention that. After four months I get a late payment cancellation notice from Synchrony with late fees and interest. But I never received a bill from Synchrony, did not know who the were , received miscellaneous texts which I assumed were spam. Called Verizon, they cannot explain Synchrony bill. Called Synchrony, they cannot reconcile Verizon bill??? Phone service is horrible, calls go to dead air, scheduled call backs don't work, they hang up immediately. What a nightmare. read more

Very small store without working phone models. They have...I don't know what you would call them. Decoy phones? With stickers of fake displays where the screen should be. How on earth does a cell phone store not have phones you can try out before purchase? One employee didn't know the difference between two different types of cameras that differed between two models. I and her manager had to drive home the point after she kept saying, "I think they are the same thing", and was trying to tell me there wasn't a difference between the models, because they didn't have a working model of the camera I wanted to see for myself. They said they're due for a remodel soon. In the meantime, go a little bit further to the location on 3rd and 59th. Bigger store, everything works, and they have an incredibly engaging, knowledgeable staff. read more

The guys here are very helpful. It's true that you get what you paid for when it comes to cell phone service. I use to have Sprint and everyone at a Sprint store was an asshole. The other customers also would be belligerent sometimes and the entire scene was abhorrent. This is not the case at the Verizon store. People were hardworking and would check you in right when you walk through the doors. They tried to help you to the best of their ability. Everyone acted in a professional demeanor. There were no screaming kids or screaming parents or fighting couples. Everyone was just calm and quiet and did their job. I may pay more for Verizon, but whenever I need their help, I know they can be counted on. However, this does not mean that I forgive them for trying to repeal net neutrality. I like this store and the people that work here, but corporate Verizon can suck a big one. read more

I went to this store specifically because it is not a corporate store (it is an indecently owned franchise store) and thought it would be less crowded. Sadly, the people who work there have no clue what they are doing and are too disconnected from Verizon to provide competent support. I will say that the staff is very friendly, but sadly this only goes so far when you screw up everything else. Here are some of the issues I ran into when attempting to switch from AT&T to Verizon: - They got my first name wrong which was reflected in my account information and had to be fixed several times. I still continue to get mail from them addressed to 'Megan' which is not my name. - I simply wanted to switch from AT&T to Verizon and buy a new iPhone. Somehow, they screwed this up so badly that they had to switch out the sim card 3 times and after 2hrs they ended up giving me a temporary Verizon phone number that I had to use on my old phone while I waited for my number to 'port over from ATT'... over 24 hrs passed and nothing happened, I called Verizon and they explained that I never needed a temporary phone number and that the port was not working because it was setup for my old phone number which I was keeping. Basically, there was no reason for it to take 1+days just to port my old number to my new phone. Insane. - Then I was told that I would receive a credit for switching from AT&T to Verizon and that it would happen automatically after 1-2 billing cycles. 3 have passed and still nothing. I had to call and was told that I should have filled out a form to receive this. Again - totally incompetent and out of touch with Verizon policies. - I also asked that they drop the insurance on my account as I did not think it was worth while ($500 deductible). I noticed on my most recent bill that it was only dropped from 1 device and not the other. Honestly, they have messed up nearly every single part of the process for me and I am still dealing with the consequences of their errors 3 billing cycles later. So yourself a favor and go to a corporate store with people who are actually knowledgable about Verizon's policies. UGH! read more

Visited this Verizon store today to purchase a Samsung S4 charger and was very pleased with the help I received from Issac. Not only did I get a charger but I got one of those cool new glass screen protectors for my cellphone .It actually looks really nice and it stays on your phone screen perfectly i love it. I would give this location a 0 out of 5 stars if I could because of the employees that work there, in particular a young man named Marc. If you go to this location, stir clear of him because he will screw up your entire order. 1) I went in there to replace an iPhone 6s+ because I broke my current one. He explained I would only pay $100 dollars when I was in the store. It turns out, he put me on an entirely different plan (without noting it would only cost me an extra dollar a month for the iPhone 7) and also charged me $40 for a screen protector that I did not ask for. He put it on without acknowledging the charge. 2) When I complained afterwards, they said they would refund me and get me the iPhone 7. I came into the store and they said there are no iPhone 7's available and is backordered until 11/16, which are that point I agreed to wait. 3) I came back a third time to return the iPhone 6 and change over my number to an old phone while I wait for the iPhone 7. At this point, they tell me I need to pay a restocking fee because I'm returning the phone. Why do I need to I need to pay a restocking fee because the employee miscommunicated a situation? 4) When I said to him you put me on a plan I didn't ask for and charged me for a screen protector I didn't ask for, he replied "we could have charged you for an extra 200-300 and gave you a new phone case, screen protector and other stuff" I said to him you charge people without telling them? He said that's our package, in which point he then backtracked because I called him out for practicing deceptive work policies. 5) He also made up a complete lie that I was told about the restocking fee by his manager, who was in fact off that day...that conversation never took place. Long story short - DO not go to this location. They use deceptive strategies and then essentially play stupid. read more

This was the only store that still had the iPhone 6 in gold. It was quick and Izak even discounted the tempered glass screen protector once I told him that I was given a lower price quote from a different store. He was great and everything took less than 30 min. read more

Please don't make the same mistake I did and check their better business bureau profile before patronizing this establishment. This is not a verizon storefront, but rather a premium retailer. Translation: maximize profit through whatever means necessary. They actually tried to charge for a SIM card that comes pre-installed in the phone from the factory. My husband and I visited the Verizon store last week. He ordered a new model Iphone and I updated my Ipad. This required updating to IOS 9.0 on both Ipads (as well my Iphone) so the data from my old Ipad would update to the cloud and then update my new Ipad. The experience took a bit of time, but Albert, who was our rep. was outstanding. He was proactive, knowledgable, thorough, patient, and very nice. AWESOME SERVICE. Having been a verizon customer for over ten years I have been to many different stores for various reasons. Most of the time the store is just interested in selling me something. Not here. Issac the owner/manager was so helpful he even gave me a replacement phone to use while my new phone . which he did not even sell me, was being delivered. I had an extremely bad experience with very dishonest service. I brought in my iPhone 6 with water damage and explained that the phone didn't work and I'd like to replace it through my insurance plan. The salesman convinced me that instead if I left my phone with him, his repair man could fix the phone and have it back to me the following day. However, if we send it in (what I had intended), it would take 3-5 days. He told me it'd be ready the following day and I'd get a call after 2p. When I didn't hear the next day, I tried to call, but found out that they closed at 4p on Fridays and aren't open on Saturday. I still hadn't heard by late Sunday afternoon, so called in. I was told that the repair man couldn't fix my phone. When I asked why he hadn't called me as promised, he said that since the phone couldn't be repaired "there was no reason to call me." Despite the promise that I'd have my phone back in 24 hours, I went in to pick it up 3 days later when I called myself. I took my phone directly to a real Verizon store, submitted my phone and will have a replacement in 24 hours sent to my house. Beware of their dishonest claims just to keep business in house, and stay on top of them. Extremely poor customer service. I will not be back. read more

Be careful with them, especially with their "gifts"!!!!!!!They would try to still your money. In my case it was $300!!! I walked in there to get a iPhone 6 it was just released. I also told them that I'm leaving soon and I need it ASAP. I expected that I would have to wait. But they promised me that I will get it in 2 days. The phone did not come on time. The manager told me: don't wary, I'll give you any cover for the phone just as a gift for the inconvenience, for free. Finally the phone came 6 days later. They kept asking me if I need a charger, a screen, something else. I was saying no to all of these, but I reminded them about a case as a gift. They also "gifted" me an extended battery. When I had to pay, the charge was 300$ more than I expected. I asked them why? And they told me that it's a normal price. I paid, took a receipt. But I went to another Verizon store. They were surprised with that charge and asked me if bought anything else from them. I did not. But I've got a $4 battery and $40 case (according to eBay) as a gift. I went back to them and started asking questions, they tried to avoid answering them, telling me that this is a normal charge. I spent there an hour, and finally they told me that if I return their "gifts" they will give me $150 back, I asked where the other $150 would go for, I had to listen something what did not make any sense.
