Maple Creamee!…read more Creameries and maple syrups are ubiquitous in VT. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm not a fan of maple syrup nor food cooked with MS. Since theirs is the first maple creamee I've actually finished, thought it worth sharing. This is based on my visit in August, 21. ++ Ambiance is tiny and clean and convenient. They are located ABOVE the street level on Route 7 so, look for Woodware with colorful Adirondacks. If you only want creamees, visit their togo walkup window. ++ They ONLY serve MAPLE creamies. No other flavors! They offer both cups and soft cones. BMF's maple creamee was balanced and is not overly sweet! If you want maple syrups and souvenirs, go inside. This shop is small but was organized and clean. They had the usual variety of sizes but limited grades. ++. Friendly staff ++ Prices were fair. There's a CASH discount :-). ++ Open daily! 11:30am - 6pm + Limited free parking shared with Woodware, but was not a problem. It's a togo place, so it moves fast. PSA: The location on Yelp is incorrect and I've submitted for proper location update. They are located NORTH of Halladay Rd. Enjoy!

There's also a cute gift shop inside, where we picked up a jug of maple syrup and a souvenir magnet. The girl working the counter was incredibly sweet as well. The best part was that they offer pup cups with biscuits, which made our puppy's day!

Both said "YES, PLEASE, count me in. Except one lives in FL and was just here in the beginning of July for an extended weekend! Love trying something NEW, especially with multi levels of MAPLE!! All the layers of deliciousness are Maple! We will be back even with the 45 min oneway drive!! Of course, it located in the Historic downtown Middlebury! They did an entire renovation on the inside of the building to its original beautiful beginnings! Tin ceiling, brick walls and beautiful painted wood ceiling mouldings! You all have done a beautiful job!! The huge counter had a section of all their frozen treats! And when you walk, I loved the way they decorated the wall with all the Chimney cake forms! Very nice touch! Simple and beautiful! The Chimney Cake cone was dusted with maple sugar, the cone has a nice crisp cake/donut bite, with hand scooped hard style Maple Creemee, topped with of course sweet flavorful Maple Syrup! There may have been more maple however it went down very smoothly and it was filling! The owners mother said they work long hours everyday to prepare the days items! Also, she mentioned that the Maple Madness and Apple pie Chimney Cones are the most popular items!! I'm one that always goes to what I had & Loved first...so, I might talk someone else into buying the Apple pie version and snagging a taste! The owner, heard we had our dog with us and told me about this amazing Dog Frozen Treat that's great for sensitive stomach dogs!! WHAT??!! My Luna can't recommend ENOUGH, usually she takes a lick now & then but once it was the perfect temperature we couldn't pull it away to make it easier for her!!! She enjoyed it immensely and had no reactions to it!! It has her favorite vegetable Pumpkin in it! SHE GAVE IT A FOUR PAWS UP REVIEW!! Come help this wonderful family business on their new delicious journey!! They have many other versions and good items! As I mentioned before, we will definitely be back!!

While the restaurant was mostly full, we did not have to wait to be seated. Unfortunately they don't serve breakfast after 12 so only lunch/dinner items were available except for a breakfast buffet which the server advised would be available for only another 45 minutes. I looked at the small buffet menu showing what was available on today's buffet: sausage links, bacon, corned beef, sausage gravy, pastries, fruit, French toast sticks, and ham and cheese omelets and since nothing really appealed to any of us we decided we would pass on the buffet however when the server came to get our drink orders she advised us that if we wanted to order off the menu it would take 50 minutes to an hour to get our food. We asked if we got an appetizer in addition to the food if that would at least come out sooner so we could snack on something while we waited but she said probably not so we all went for the buffet. I so wished I hadn't. The sausage links and bacon were to be expected but the corned beef hash was definitely the canned variety that looks more like cat food than human food and since it wasn't cooked crisp, it was just a soggy mess. The fruit was the standard cantalope and melon but weren't really very flavor able. The sausage gravy was decent and had lots of sausage in it but the biscuits were small, cold, and hard. I'm not an omelette person usually but this one was kind of strange. Instead of small individual omelettes, they were large rolled or possibly folded eggs, with diced ham and melted cheddar then sliced in sections so it kind of resembled a Stromboli bread with eggs instead of bread and judging by by the consistency and texture, the eggs must be pre-mixed eggs in a carton. I was not a fan. The French toast sticks were ok. Nothing great but it the worst item on the Buffett. The one really good item on the buffet was the blueberry muffin. Which was packed full of large, real blueberries. I ate two of those. Service was ok, our server was nice and polite and refilled our drinks when we asked but the cashier had little or no personality. He never asked how our meal was or said have a great day or even said thank you.
