I had a squeal and they diagnosed and made the repair on the spot for around $350 to replace something I can't remember exactly what. The problem was it didn't fix the squeal. I came back 4 times until it was finally fixed. The valet parking service at my apartment messed up my Honda Accord's entire front bumper, fog lights, all respective splash shields, and mugen spoiler. I gave the car to Ali to repair and not only did he fix/replace all respective parts for a reasonable price, he also completed it within a business day. While this was the most recent repair that Ali has helped me with, he has also has helped me with timing belts, rotors, etc. and like the last service, he completes everything in a timely manner. He's super responsive, friendly, and offers superior service than even actual car dealerships. The BEST repair shop I've been to in NYC! They provided great service, repairing both my AC and replacing all 4 brakes & rotors in just a couple of hours. They communicated clearly throughout, updating me after they diagnosed the issues, and providing me with photos and updates by text! All of this at a very affordable price. Although I only live 1.5 miles away, they were still kind enough to give me a ride home and pick me back up when the repairs were done. They are now my go-to repair shop and I'll definitely be coming back!!! My right front brakes were smoking late Saturday afternoon while my mother and I were on our way to visit family in LIC from Maryland. I pulled over and instead of calling AAA (they take forever!) I pulled up Yelp and filtered for open car repair near me, and called Vernon Auto Repairs. Hassan Ali drove to where I was stranded, diagnosed the problem on the spot, got on his cell phone to start ordering the parts and had me follow him to his repair bay. After learning one part wasn't available I left the car with him and he said they would try Sunday but be prepared that part might not be available until Monday. Please do yourself a favor and don't EVER come to this repair shop. I went for a oil leak fix after going there a few times to get other repairs done. The oil leak was never fixed properly. I got it don't back in April 2023 and as of this date January 16th, 2024 the problem is still there. They used second hand parts that never fully fixed the problem, charged me for "other things" that didn't need fixing but claim they did, missed days of work because it was in the shop and months later after a "temporary fix" the problem is still there. I tried to contact them and fix the problem but going to court and they told me it's my problem not theirs. Now I have to fix a problem they initially were supposed to fix after paying 1000 plus for everything that was done. Still have the oil leak and requested my money back met with backlash. Do your a huge favor and never ever come here. There are other mechanics in the neighborhood that do better jobs. They aren't trustworthy and you will be leaving with a poorly done job. Please read this and never go. You will thank me later. Look further and their are other reviews that say the same. read more

The owner is great. When I checked yelp, this place is 24hrs. My car won't start at around 11pm and the owner Ali drove up to Roosevelt ave. and like a magician the car started. I have a bunch of issues with the electrical and battery components. I brought it in his shop and he gaved me the things the needed work which I have already confirmed in the past but can't find a good mechanic that's open at night. He also gaved me the best prices. When I left my car in his garage he even gives you a ride back to your apartment. Very trust-worthy mechanic that can get the job done.
